I met Seth Johnson in a pub in Torquay,his agent told­ him Leeds were keen to sign him and suggested they hung­ out for 17k a week over double what he was on at­ Derby,they had a meeting with Peter Ridsdale who told­ them 36k a week take it or leave it,this is why the­ club was in so much trouble.

Common Southampton and make it another win, we will­ continue to climb up the tables, "so far we have­ beat the best of the rest" well nearly all the­ best and the best is yet to come so look out Leeds­ before we make you swallow a packet of seed's , I­ am sure that we will make the play-off's starting­ with tomorrow's win with B&H, we play good­ football to win. Our back four are beginning to look­ impregnable (well almost) at least we now have a a team­ that works well including a few very good strikers,­ what with Lambert and Connoly + others and not­ forgetting Pappa Wego who bamboozles any opposition as­ well as his own team and he is fast, so have a good day­ and win again as "Southampton expects every player­ to do his duty".
