45+3'’
Elano delivers the free-kick into the box but Brown hoofs clear and that is half-time.
16'’
What a chance for Jonny Evans! Chris Brunt whips in a cross from the left which evades everyone in the box, but Evans really should have met the ball with what would have been a free header!
15'’
Niall McGinn cuts inside from the right and fires a fierce shot which brings a fine save from Isailovic, diving high to his left to parry the ball wide.
11'’
Kuzmanovic fires a vicious shot from the edge of the Northern Ireland box but Taylor is equal to it, tipping the ball over the bar with a very sharp save!

17'’
Terrible play by England! Upson plays Foster into trouble with a poor backpass, and the goalkeeper scuffs a useless clearance straight at Kaka who - amazingly - miscontrols.
11'’
Error from Upson, who loses the ball to Nilmar. The striker plays a low cross from the left but Joleon Lescott cuts it out!
1'’
Game on! Wayne Rooney immediately looks for Darren Bent, who is offside.
90+1'’
The full-time whistle goes at the Cardiff City Stadium and Wales have thrashed Scotland 3-0 courtesy of goals from David Edwards, Simon Church and the excellent Aaron Ramsey! The two sides' moods could hardly be more different as they leave the field. Thanks for joining us.

80'’
Andy King comes on for Wales in place of Joe Ledley as both sides look to use their full allocation of substitutes.

53'’
Danny Fox and Kenny Miller are replaced as Steven Fletcher and Lee Wallace come on in the pair's places.
47'’
Marshall storms out of his penalty area recklessly and handles to deny Sam Vokes a goalscoring opportunity. He is booked, but it could easily have been a red!
46'’
Scotland get the second half underway in their white shirts - can they improve on their dismal showing in the first?
46'’
Sam Vokes replaces Ched Evans, while Robert Earnshaw comes on in place of Simon Church as John Toshack shuffles his pack.
45+1'’
The half-time whistle goes at the Cardiff City Stadium and Wales have run riot and lead 3-0! How will Scotland respond to that mullering when they return in the second half?
44'’
Morgan very cynically tugs back Naismith after he was caught out at right-back, and is rightly booked.
37'’
Graham Dorrans bundles over Church, and that was a stone-wall penalty! The referee must have given Scotland a sympathy call there - unbelievable!
35'’
GOAL!!!! RAMSEY MAKES IT THREE! The 18-year-old pounces on a misplaced pass from Fletcher, beats McManus and holds off the Manchester United midfielder to slot the ball coolly past Marshall - what an individual effort!
32'’
GOAL!!!! SIMON CHURCH MAKES IT TWO! The Reading striker nets his first goal for Wales as he steals in to tap home after fine work from Joe Ledley down the left!
17'’
GOAL!!!! EDWARDS VOLLEYS WALES IN FRONT! A superb exchange of passes from Ricketts and Ramsey, who crosses low to Edwards and the Wolves winger volleys sweetly past Marshall!
6'’
Miller should score after taking a cross from Dorrans into his stride, but firing wide! He should have hit the target.
5'’
Danny Fox whips in a superb cross which McFadden does well to direct on target, but Hennessey makes a stunning save with his feet!
2'’
Another superb cross-come-shot from Ricketts causes havoc in the Scotland area with Marshall adjusting well late on to tip the ball onto the crossbar!
2'’
Ricketts gets down the right with a testing run but Caldwell stoops low to head clear inside his own six-yard box!

90+3’
The South Korean referee puts Scotland out of their misery, 2-0 to Japan and convincing despite the lateness of the goals.
89'’
Konno gets down the left again, superb low ball which Inamoto meets to turn and shoot but a great block by McManus AND HONDA SLIDES IT IN FOR 2-0!
82'’
Japan come forward again, Honda on the edge of the box, wide to Konno who puts in a superb ball AND DISASTER FOR BERRA WHO PUTS IT PAST HIS OWN KEEPER! 1-0 JAPAN!
78'’
Sickening clash of heads between Iwamasa and Berra I think.
73'’
SCOTLAND SUB: Conway replaced by Riordan.
72'’
Scotland break as the ball is sent through by Cowie and a mix-up in the Japan defence AND FLETCHER IS THROUGH HE MUST SCORE BUT A BRILLIANT BLOCK BY THE KEEPER KAWASHIMA FLYING OUT! He seemed slow off his line but flew out just at the last to prevent Fletcher from rounding him.
68'’
SCOTLAND SUB: That was Adam's last act of the game as Steven Hughes comes on in his place.
67'’
Honda takes the free-kick and swings it just wide of the far post! Scotland counter and Adam could be in but the lob is deflected and goes over!
66'’
JAPAN TRIPLE SUB: Tokunaga, Okudo and Matsui on for Uchida, Sato and Ishikawa.
65'’
Caldwell says one thing too many after Berra gave aaway a free-kick on the edge of the D and gets a booking.
63'’
Inamoto takes, swings it over the wall and it bounces in front of Gordon, he can only parry it AND UCHIDA MUST SCORE BUT HE SOMEHOW FIRES IT WIDE OF THE FAR POST! Should have been 1-0.
59'’
Inamoto plays it wide to Honda who touches it into Hashimoto who is clear but a great tackle from Berra to slide in and put it out for a corner.
46'’
Second half underway!
SCOTLAND SUBS: Cowie and Fletcher on for Wallace and Miller.
45'’
Half-time, goalless but Japan have by far been the more impressive side.
41'’
Ishikawwa bursts into the box and he touches it back to NAKAMURA but McManus with the block and Scotland clear!
34'’
Scotland give the ball away, Nakamura combines with Honda and the former Celtic man has a crack but side netting!
18'’
Japan on the break and Nakamura is in but he just fails to connect with the ball from three yards out!!
1'’
Match underway!
90'+3’
THERE'S THE WHISTLE! Ireland have won a well-earned victory here, thanks to that amazing early free kick from Liam Lawrence in his first international match on Irish soil. Not great for South Africa: the World Cup hosts looked good on the ball, but never used their possession to any real effect.
90'+1’
The victory is all but guaranteed now... but here's one last corner for the visitors!
90'’
Thwala takes it, and strikes it high, hard and about 40 yards left of the goal!
86'’
Another good chance for Best, spinning past two defenders to make space - but he doesn't connect with his shot and the danger is cleared.
85'’
After lulling the visitors into a false sense of security, a quick break gives first Folan and then Best chances to score - with Best's rocketing shot deflecting off the last defender!
82'’
Brilliant chance for Folan to open his international account as an inch-perfect, Beckhamesque cross by Best goes straight to his head... but all he can do is glance it wide.
81'’
Dikgacoi comes off, Ngobeni replaces him.
80'’
South Africa win a rare corner, but they can't make anything of it despite Mhlongo picking the ball up in space on the far side of the box; he balloons it skyward and it's cleared easily.
78'’
Masilela comes off to make way for Thwala.
77'’
Damien Duff on, the very decent Andy Keogh making way after a good night's work.
76'’
Substitute Khenyeza gets through to the penalty box and will surely have a chance to shoot... but no fewer than four green shirts swarm in on him and block off all angles!
73'’
Nonsensical long-shot from 45 yards by Mphela - it misses the goal by a clean 20 yards!
73'’
Henyekane comes on for striker Mphela.
63'’
Another sub, as Parker comes off and Tshabalala replaces him.
62'’
McShane comes off, O'Dea comes on.
61'’
STUNNING CHANCES FOR THE HOSTS! More great link play from Best and Lawrence, with Folan collecting Lawrence's original deflected shot and giving him another bite at the cherry - and a terrific shot is deflected just wide by desperate defending!
60'’
Great chance for Ireland! Liam Best pulls the ball back for Lawrence, but the shot is deflected!
59'’
Van Heeren off, Khenyeza on for South Africa.
59'’
Kevin Doyle off, Leon Best on.
57'’
Ireland have a better chance from Darron Gibson, who hits a long-range effort just wide of the post. He had plenty of space and should probably have hit the target, but it's still positive for the hosts.
46'’
We're back in action in Limerick, and it'll be interesting to see if the South Africans can start turning their possession into chances.
The whistle goes for the end of the half, and Ireland will be chuffed to have weathered the South African storm and come out in the lead. The visitors have probably played the better football, but haven't converted possession into chances.
45'+2’
Straight up the other end and Ireland win a corner, but it's overhit by Lawrence and goes harmlessly off.
45'+1’
GREAT CHANCE FOR SOUTH AFRICA! It's Masilela coming up the left flank, cutting brilliantly into the box and all hr nees to do is deliver a final ball back to the penalty spot where three yellow shirts are waiting... but instead he shoots himself from a terrible angle! Straight into the side-netting, what a waste!
39'’
GREAT CHANCE FOR IRELAND! Lovely build-up play cuts through the defence and first Doyle and then Folan have pot shots from just inside the box! the men in yellow manage to get in the way to block, but it's all Ireland now!
38'’
Terrible foul by Mokoena and he's in the book for a crude charge off the ball on Doyle.
37'’
GOAL IRELAND!!!!! A truly sublime free kick from Liam Lawrence curls perfectly over the wall and straight into the top corner! Absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!
37'’
Lawrence hits the ball... but it ricochets off the encroaching Pineaar! That's a yellow card for the man in yellow! It's a re-take!
36'’
Folan, isolated, wins possession from a long ball - but is fouled pointlessly. This is a dangerous free kick, dead centre and 28 yards out...
34'’
Brilliant interplay between Pineaar and Parker, but Mokoena tries diving for a penalty once he realises that he won't be first to the final ball - the referee is having none of it.
19'’
The fouled player takes the kick and hits it not badly, but a little too high and a little too straight, and it curls harmlessly over the bar.
18'’
Pineaar goes down on the edge of the box - and it's a free kick in a very dangerous spot, just left of centre...
17'’ Folan is back in the dressing room having his wound stitched - that really was a nasty clash.
13'’
PENALTY SHOUT FOR IRELAND! Gould crassly shoulder-charges Folan as the Ireland striker chases a ball into the box, and Folan falls to the ground hurt. With no attempt by the defender to play the ball the South Africans are a little lucky to get away with that one.
12'’
First proper chance of the match! Pineaar pulls a ball back from the right and finds Parker in the box with a chance to shoot, but his effort is blocked and deflects into the keeper's arms.
0'’
The whistle goes, and the game gets under way in the packed stadium in lovely clear weather boosted by floodlights.
90+4'’
The final whistle goes and England win. More importantly, it seems as though everybody stayed fit!
84'’
GOAL!! Pecnik gets the better of Johnson and fires in a cross to Ljubijankic at the near post. Lescott is caught napping and the substitute beats Green with the header!
80'’
Wayne Rooney trots off to be replaced by Carlton Cole.
73'’
Pecnik feeds Jokic out wide and gets himself into the box and almost glances his header past Green! The ball goes wide of the far post, but England were caught cold there. Slovenia's best chance there.
72'’
Aaron Lennon scampers his way into the box and sets Rooney up on the edge of the six-yard box... BLOCKED ON THE LINE! Somehow Rooney's shot was parried by Mavric!
71'’
Pecnik comes on to replace Dedic up front for the visitors.
64'’
Joleon Lescott is now on, while Birsa is replaced by Komac for Slovenia.
63'’
GOAL!! Nice patient move from England. Lennon plays square to Defoe on the edge of the D, expecting the return pass, but Defoe simply takes a touch and fires a shot into the bottom corner, cool as you like!
55'’
Novakovic is replaced by Ljubijankic as Slovenia make their first voluntary switch.
46'’
So England kick-off to get the second hald underway, with a few younger, hungrier players on the pitch. Every England fan will want to front duo of Rooney and Defoe to work.
HT’
Here are your half-time changes for England: Defoe for Heskey, Carrick for Lampard, Lennon for SWP and Milner for Gerrard. Phew.
45+1'’
The first half comes to an end, and England are good value for their lead, even if it came in dubious circumstances. Slovenia have proved themselves to be no slouches, however, and look capable of catching their hosts cold if the chance comes their way.
37'’
More nice football from England as Barry finds Gerrard who STRIKES... The shot whistles past Handanovic's post!
35'’
Mavric's first touch concedes a corner. Upson's diving header is glanced to ROONEY AT THE FAR POST... OFF THE POST!! Rooney was slightly off balance when he steered it with his left foot, but it should have been 2-0.
34'’
Indeed he is. Matej Mavric replaces Cesar at centre-back.
33'’
Cesar, the man who conceded the penalty, limped off after the incident and has not come back on. It looks as though he will be replaced sooner rather than later.
31'’
GOAL!! Lampard drills his penalty hard and low into the corner! Handanovic went the right way but the strike was too good. Slovenia will feel rather cheated to have conceded that penalty, and rightly so, but England deserve to be in front.
29'’
Lampard's corner is headed back to him, and the second ball again goes behind. His second corner is deep and a little too high for Heskey. Gerrard sends in another ball and ROONEY GOES DOWN... PENALTY!! It looked as though Rooney had more of Cesar's shirt than vice versa, but a spot-kick it is. Lampard will take...
22'’
Terry charges in at the near post to meet the corner... OFF THE BAR! England step it up a gear now, and they should be ahead.
22'’
Heskey flicks on to Rooney who turns inside Brecko and STRIKES... deflected over the bar!
19'’
Terry only half-clears Kirm's cross and Slovenia have men forward. They can't make it count and Kirm fouls Heskey as he breaks out and earns a booking.
7'’
Dedic finds the gap and plays in novakovic! Green coems charging off his line and sends the striker wide, forcing him to curl a shot from an acute angle that goes over! Real scare for England there.
3'’
Nice energy about England as Gerrard scoops a ball out to Cole. England have four in the box but the cross is headed away. Slovenia showing a bit too much respect to their hosts at the moment. Green comes too far out of his area to meet the ball and catches it when both feet are clearly out of his area! The Hammers keeper is lucky to get away with that!
1'’
Slovenia kick off!
90'’
Full time and it's honours even between Northern Ireland and Israel. All eyes now turn to Poland next month.
90+4’
Final whistle! An entertaining 2-2 draw and, after their defensive horrorshow in the first half, very good from England and their subs in particular for the second 45. Thanks for joining us!!
86'’
Baird delivers a cross at pace for Lafferty but he heads over the bar. It was a decent chance.
84'’
ENGLAND SUB: Bridge on for Cole.
83'’
Lampard puts the corner in, headed on by Cole and Ooijer behind again... Lampard buts the second corner in AND COLE NEAR POST INTO THE GROUND BUT IT BOUNCES WIDE!!
81'’
Da Silva on for the Dutch now.
80'’
GREAT SAVE! Isreal open up NI, Baruchian and Barda combine to find Colautti. He spins his marker and shoots goalwards, but Tuffey does superbly to stick out a boot and make the save.
90'+3’
FT. A resounding 3-0 win for Australia over Ireland.
90'+3’
Stunning strike from all of 30 yards!
90'+3’
GOAL FOR AUSTRALIA! Carney with a super strike!
90’
FULL TIME Wales fall to a 2-1 defeat in Montenegro. Not the best warm-up for their qualifier against Russia in September but there are some positives to take for John Toshack. Thanks for following the game with us.
76'’
Cole wins a flick on, Ooijer loses out to Milner, Milner is in on the left, a great run and he drills a wicked low cross in AND DEFOE SLIDES IN FAR POST FOR 2-2!!! ENGLAND LEVEL AND THE SUBS HAVE REALLY GIVEN CAPELLO A HEADACHE!!
89'’
SAVE FROM SCHWARZER! Well, it's more of a miss from St Ledger! Straight at the keeper with a header from six yards!
88'’
ANDREWS HITS THE POST! The Blackburn man picks off a good shot from 20 yards but hits the base of the left post!
85'’
Ireland win a few corners in quick succession but Australia defend them well. After a series of blocked shots and failed crosses, Long tries to dink the ball in but Schwarzer is there.
86’
There is precious little to report in the closing stages but Vukcevic gets a good reception as he is replaced by Mitar Novakovic. The Sporting striker was a constant thorn to the Welsh.
70'’
Another change for NI, McGivern is on for Clingan.
69'’
Long ball to Cole, he takes one brilliant touch to take Mathijsen out, prods it past Ooijer with another and fires a superb shot that flies inches wide! What a great piece of play by Carlton Cole, that deserved a goal!
69'’
Israel are playing some good football now, they play the ball across the area for Baruchian but he slices his shot well wide. Should have done better.
68'’
Milner gets in on the left and he swings over a brilliant cross AND DEFOE FLIES IN BUT JUST OVER!!! Superb introduction for Milner.
65'’
Yadin fails to run off his injury and is replaced by Ziv.
67'’
ENGLAND SUB: James Milner on for Villa team-mate Ashley Young. That is a debut for Milner.
81'’
Long comes on for McGeady.
80'’
Not far wide from Kewell there, as he pings a shot a couple of feet off target.
77'’
St Ledger attacks a corner and heads wide. Ireland seem to want it more now, but is it too little too late?
61'’
Yadin has gone down in a heap clutching his ankle and it does not look good.
76’
Now Aaron Ramsey is replaced by David Cotterill. It was an impressive display from the young Arsenal man and he showed some nice touches in midfield.
59'’
Healy is being replaced by Paterson and he will go up top alongside Lafferty.
73'’
Keane fizzes the ball across the face of goal, but no-one's there to meet it!
74’
Goalscorer Djalovic is replaced by Fatos Beciraj. Why not do these changes at the same time??
59'’
ENGLAND SUB: Carlton Cole on for Rooney.
71'’
Spiranovic replaces North for Australia...
56'’
Defoe gets in on the right after good work by SWP, he's in but has no support so goes it, cuts back and drills it in but cleared from the toes of Rooney!
69'’
Keane manages to make enough space for a shot inside the area, but it's blocked!
55'’
NETHERLANDS SUB: Affelay on for Robben.
54'’
Good run by Wright-Phillips but Braafheid holds him up and clears. Now the Dutch counter, Robben with Kuyt and the Liverpool man has it on the left, he slides it across to Robben, who is in but he miscontrols and England clear!
68'’
Given makes way for Westwood as Ireland make a change in goal.
69’
Batak is replaced by Luka Pejovic.
66’
Rob Earnshaw is the victim of a horrible tackle from Dzudovic as he flies in late on the Nottingham Forest striker. That could have been a red, there was nothing subtle about that.
65’
MONTENEGRO HIT THE POST! It is that man Jovetic again as he bends a superb half-volley around the keeper and onto the woodwork. Vukcevic is unable to put the rebound away.
49'’
Almost another hairy moment for England but Green clears, it's a long one and Rooney chests it down on halfway, Ooijer pushes him over but play on as Lampard lofts it forward and Defoe is onside, great pace, he gets away from the Dutch defence and clips a glorious curling finish with his left boot off the inside of the post and in! 2-1! Lovely finish from Defoe and good refereeing to wave play on!
62'’
Kilbane and Gibson make way for Nolan and Andrews as Trapattoni makes a few more changes.
64’
Wales also make a further change as Craig Morgan of Peterborough replaces West Ham's James Collins in the three-man backline.
47'’
CLOSE! A great run and cross from McGinn and it looks inviting for Davis but he does not make decent contact from seven yards.
643’
Mladen Kascelan replaces Milorad Pekovic for Montenegro.
60'’
Much better from Ireland! Whelan over-hits a cross to Keane who improvises well and backheels the ball into the path of the onrushing Hunt. He fires well wide, but it's more promising from the Irish...
46'’
England immediately come forward as Defoe slips it to Rooney who shapes to shoot but plays a delicious diagonal ball to Wright-Phillips on the overlap but Braafheid just gets back to clear!!
46'’
Second-half underway!!
46'’
ENGLAND SUBS: Carrick, Defoe and Wright-Phillips on for Beckham, Heskey and Barry. All four defenders are still on the pitch.
57'’
Ireland so nearly make it through on the break, but again a lack of control lets them down. Keane almost nips in but is crowded out, then McGeady can't gather the ball. Finally, O'Shea makes a mess of the simplest of touches.
58’
Neal Eardley comes on for Sam Ricketts and Chris Gunter moves across to the right.
54'’
Jedinak forces a comfortable save from Given as Australia come forward again.
52’
GOAL FOR WALES! Sam Ricketts delivers a hanging cross from the left and Sam Vokes rises superbly to head the ball just inside the post. A brilliant impact from the substitute.
49'’
Couple of half-time changes for each side to update you on. Hunt and Folan are on for Duff and Doyle for Ireland, while Rukavytsya and Madaschi come on for Cahill and Kisnorbo for Australia.

46’
Lewin Nyatanga and Sam Vokes replace Simon Church and Ashley Williams ahead of the second half for Wales.

Half-time, Netherlands lead a sloppy England 2-0. There will be some harsh words from Fabio Capello...
45'’
Half time and it's all level. NI will welcome the break as Israel came back strong.
43'’
Heskey 30 yards out outmuscles Mathijsen and knocks the header on to ROONEY WHO HALF-VOLLEYS PAST THE KEEPER BUT INCHES WIDE!! Stekelenburg didn't have a prayer and initially that looked in!
37'’
Green to Ferdinand, short to Barry who turns and plays a blind pass that sends Robben clean through, he must make it two but a brilliant save by Green but Van der Vaart is there to rattle it home for 2-0! Shocking defending again from England, another lapse in concentration, Barry this time although the whole back four were culpable of ball-watching in the aftermath.
36'’
Van Persie with an impudent little backheel, a one-two with Kuyt and he shoots low but just wide!!
36'’
CLOSE! Cohen climbs high at a corner and makes great contact, it looks destined for the top corner but Johnson heads off the line.
35'’
Baruchian flicks a free kick to the far past, Colautti heads it back and it sits up nicely for Cohen but he heads wide from six yards. He should have done better.
45'+1’
HT. Trapattoni will not be happy with that showing from his side.
33'’
Robben gets into the game after a poor kick from Green and some poor defending by Johnson, Robben is in on the left and he fires on goal but tipped over by Green!
45'’
Williams runs into the area and has a shot well saved by Given, but Cahill reacts quickest and fires in the rebound! Moments earlier, Cahill won a header in acres of space in midfield. Ireland are not looking sharp here, at all. Very sluggish.
45’
HALF TIME Wales are somewhat unlucky to be 2-0 down, but 2-0 down they are in Podgorica.
31'’
CHANCE! Baird beats his man on the right and delivers the ball into the box for Lafferty. The Rangers man pulls off his marker and heads goalwards, but Aouate makes the save.
45’
GOAL FOR MONTENEGRO! Vukcevic plays in Djalovic with a lovely reverse pass and the Rapid Bucharest man produces an accomplished finish back across goal and past Hennessey.
44'’
GOAL FOR AUSTRALIA! Cahill it is again!
29'’
Free-kick to the Dutch around 30 yards out to the left... brilliant deep ball and England are all over the shop AND KUYT FLIES IN FAR POST BUT A SUPERB SAVE BY GREEN! Great stop, corner.
41'’
Whelan brings Williams down as Australia advance. It's a free-kick whereby they can float the ball into the area, which they do... AND KEWELL HEADS JUST OVER! Duff looked to be holding his shirt there, and Kewell's not shy in appealing for a penalty, which doesn't come.
28'’
Beckham with a super ball left, Young with an excellent first touch and a wicked cross that Heskey attacks but again Ooijer heads clear! More good stuff from England and Beckham in particular.
26'’
GOAL! Israel silence Windsor Park. NI give the ball away cheaply, Baruchian crosses for Barda and it's a simple finish from 3 yards. It was a swift counter but Nigel Worthington will not be happy
39'’
The visitors break and McDonald is unselfish, passing to the Everton man on the edge of the area. Cahill switches feet and sends his shot past a helpless Given. Ireland so slow to close down there...
25'’
Rooney wide to Beckham and he sends in a wonderful looping, dipping cross that Ooijer just gets to ahead of Rooney flying in. Still with England, Lampard sends it crossfield and Barry chases and was that a handball off De Jong? No says the ref but England appeal!
38'’
GOAL FOR AUSTRALIA! Cahill fires a low shot into the bottom-left corner!
37’
Glorious chance for Wales! Rob Earnshaw turns his marker Dzudovic and races into the box, but his key touch is just too heavy and it allows the goalkeeper to close him down and save. The striker then tests Vukasin Poleksic with another effort.
32'’
Keane makes a hash of a break! Three on three and he fails to spot Gibson streaming down the middle, instead over-hitting a pass outside to Doyle, who can't get a cross in.
18'’
Rooney on the right, his cross is half-cleared by Mathijsen and now Beckham on the ball, through to Johnson getting forward, first-time into Lampard who is in but his low drive is blocked by Stekelenburg! Great play by England.
31'’
McGeady curls one over by a couple of feet after a defensive mistake in dealing with a cross.
18'’
GOAL! McCann takes charge of the free kick, he gets pace and power on his shot and it goes over the wall and into the corner. Aouate got fingertips to it but could not keep it out. A superb strike.
17'’
McCann drives towards the area and wins a free kick in a dangerous spot.
31’
GOAL FOR MONTENEGRO! Jovetic sends Hennessey the wrong way from 12 yards to put the home side in front. Gabbidon was booked for the foul, by the way, after getting on the wrong side of his man.
30’
Penalty to Montenegro! Foul by Gabbidon...
10'’
Terrible back-pass from Ferdinand, shocking from Rio, and Kuyt is in, he rounds Green but is too wide, cuts back inside and drills it in low and off Terry on the line and in! 1-0 Netherlands and a poor piece of play by Ferdinand, who holds his hands up.
23'’
ANOTHER GREAT SAVE AT THE OTHER END! Keane twists and turns and gets a shot off which Schwarzer saves magnificently.
26’
Jovetic tests Hennessey with a curling effort after jinking past Ledley on the edge of the box.
22'’
SUPERB SAVE GIVEN! From the resulting corner, Kisnorbo wins a header which the Irish keeper sees late but does excellently to get down to and hold onto.
24’
Another lovely bit of build-up play from Wales as Ledley releases Ramsey with a sumptuous backheel, only to receive the ball back from his team-mate. The Cardiff star then lets fly from 20 yards and sees his effort soar wide.
20'’
Duff's shot is deflected behind for a corner. That was all about McGeady, who took the ball on the break and spread play superbly to the right side.
7'’
Yadin fires the first shot on target and it dips in front of Taylor, but the keeper holds on well.
18’
A superb move from Wales ends with Ramsey popping the ball over the Montenegro defence to Church, who sent his volley narrowly wide. That would have been a very satisfying goal.
1'’
Match underway in Amsterdam!!
13'’
Ireland's first proper attack. McGeady gets in behind Williams and curls a cross from the left by-line. Keane meets it with a header which loops over the bar.
9'’
Kewell forces a save from Given from the set piece. He drills a low shot which the keeper saw all the way.
6'’
Whelan's really late on Wilkshere as he gives away a free-kick in the middle of the pitch! Ooooh! Wilkshere screws a low shot a few feet wide of Given's left post from 20 yards...
1'’
We're off, as Australia start the game playing from right to left.

All these waste of time "friendlies" have shown is simply that, they are a waste of time. No meaningful results amongst any of them. All that happens is that players get injured for nothing and the (EPL) clubs suffer. I couldn't give a monkey's backside for Lumpalard Lampard but the loss of van Persie is a blow. What a pity Shrek Rooney didn't have his ears trodden on and his evil mouth filled with concrete. That would have evened things up.
the player of italy too old.......
england looking a bit rusty hope ireland do better
Fantastic goal Liam, can we see a few like that in the league please. With goals like that we'll avoid the drop again without a doubt.
gratz to R of Ireland.
