Game of the week - Chelsea v Liverpool
We don't always get a good game from these two but you never know; there is plenty of quality so hopefully we'll see a decent spectacle. Rafa Benitez has got a lot of sorting out to do after a really poor performance against Fiorentina in midweek. Given the current status of Serie A, I think it will have shaken them to get outclassed by an Italian side. It is not ideal scheduling for them to travel to Stamford Bridge immediately afterwards. Amazingly, there is talk of pressure on Chelsea, who have won all but one of their games this season. They have an experienced side and a winning culture there, and I think they will respond to last week's defeat at Wigan with three points.
Upset of the week - Bolton v Tottenham
The fixture list hasn't thrown up too many potential upsets this week - Sunderland head to Old Trafford in free-scoring form, but I can't see them beating Manchester United. Bolton should certainly pose Tottenham a few questions, and test their physical and mental credentials. Harry Redknapp's side have toughened up a little, and they will have to win the small battles, deal the whacks in the face and the long balls. They need to stay composed and not get frustrated if it isn't an attractive game. Bolton have struggled so far this season and need a win; they won't make life easy for Spurs.
Player to watch - Dimitar Berbatov
The Bulgarian has admitted this week he has not been a success for Manchester United - although the rest of us already knew that. I am a big fan of his but he has not done it at all since joining from Spurs. He has blamed the pressure of moving to a bigger club, but you would have hoped that being around quality players would bring him on. He lost his place in the team to Michael Owen before the Englishman's injury, so now he has got another chance he must dig in and sacrifice all the tricks and flicks in favour of simple, effective football. He has to get back to basics.
Not under pressure - Paul Hart
People think the Portsmouth manager is under pressure, but I cannot agree. Expectations are rock bottom at Fratton Park. He has had so many tools taken off him, if he were building a wall he would be stacking the bricks with his feet and using toothpaste for mortar. Pompey have two great coaches in Hart and Brian Kidd, who are great at bringing though young players, but there are no longer any good experienced players for them to knit in with. They have made a lot of changes but have not brought in enough quality. Acquisitions like Danny Webber and Tommy Smith suggest they are just regrouping for life in the Championship. It is chaos down there at the moment, and they just need to focus on getting their finances straight and letting Hart do his job.
go chelsea!!
Paul Hart not under pressure?you must be kidding.
not again! anoda poor piece of reasoning. how can u, parker, say berbatov should sacrifice his tricks and flicks? do u want a luca toni? just like sayin messi shld sacrifice his dribbling, doesn't make sense man. altho i'll second u on ur chelsea prediction

SHUDDA GONE TO SPEC SAVERS
Chelsea wont beat Liverpool, they start to look more and more like the Chelsea of Scolari last year. Haha bookies made them ridicoulous favourites infront of MU last year, they made the as well this year (to win PL) but they will FAIL again this year
What is this guy on about?!
With his experience in the game you'd think he'd come up with some decent opinions!
Parker - idiot
For once Parker got it right. Chelsea will win
I think he means Chelsea "LOSE" against Liverpool. Liverpool are the better side it will be about 3-0
liverpool
my god parker when berbatov becomes a player to watch i will let you know.
liverpool
Tough match for both teams.
But I think it'll be a draw.
Both sides lost mathces neither side will want another defeat.
parker you pratt, come on red men.
Parker's a mong.
liverpool are the best
someone should tell parkr that the setting for the chelsea - liv game is made in heaven for Rafa to trive. He usually create this situation to motivate his players. Im 100 percent sure that Liv will score a resounding victory over chelsea. trust me parker.
both sides to settle for a draw coz none of them wants a repaet of what happened to them.
parker you are talking sh..t liverpool will win look at last season stats againt the top four
berbatov lost place to owen???
when mr parker?
one more poor article.. liverpool will easily pass from stamford bridge..YNWA
no surprise that lfc fans think parker is partial and anti-liverpool...................................i
ts his analysis...thats all...and looking at liverpool's form this season....i would not pick them to win against chelsea....oure inconsistency versus rock solid football? its a no brainer....
Yassine to shove his foot up parker's arse
Parker - hopeless with a ball at his feet; worse as a journalist. My cat could have done better.
Paulie, i am totally against your article about berbatov.. sacrifising the tricks and skills for simple effective football is not why ferguson bought him for.berbatov opens a whole new dimension for attacks and his ball controls is second to none. his through passes, lobes, and assists sometimes better than an attacking midfielder so all these nonsense about him being a failure in his first season is just berbatov's expressing his dissappointment.. that's all. GO GO MAN U!
Brian Kidd isn't at Pompey you fool Parker.
chelsea might seem the on-form side, but when it comes to the big 4 Liverpool play their best, i'm sure it will be a goal-fest.... come on KOP
