    Arsenal came from a goal down to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points. More

    • 65' Almunia comes to collect a cross and Sagna kicks it out of his hands! Luckily the clearnace is a good one, and it doesn't take Almunia's hans off!
    • 62' The temperature is rising in this match now! Shaun Maloney beats Clichy and Gallas, but has to check his run as he's heading away from goal. That cost him, as He is surrounded by white shirts and loses the ball.

    • 48' Villa have had all the possession so far, and now Ashley Young crosses for MALONEY... He just missed the ball with an attempted diving header!
    • 47' Agbonlahor wins a corner for Villa. The ball is half-cleared and it almost falls for Maloney to volley, but Toure intercepts.

    • 32' A corner to Villa this time as Clichy challenges Young. Gallas leads the break and switches it across Hleb feeds FLAMINI... Struck over! Guess who is filling the Fabreags role today!

    • 13' John Carew chips a cross in that's deflected over Agbonlahor for GARDNER!! He comes into the area at just the right time for a a simple side-footed finish past Almunia! Villa Park erupts!
    • 11' Martin Laursen plays a long ball to Agbonlahor. Headed away to Gardner with Almunia off his line... Way over! It just didn't sit up right for him.
    • 9' Diarra tries a crossfield ball that Young intercepts, but Boua wastes the possession. Arsenal come forward with Hleb, who has Laursen alongside him but gets into the box... Carson gets his foot in! A tackle worthy of any centre back!
    • 7' Arsenal break forward and Hleb's shot is blocked. Adebayor knocks it out to Rsicky, but the Czech's shot curls out and is destined for a throw in!
    • 5' Agbonlahor chases down Sagna, and blocks the Frenchman's clearance. Villa still have it with Petrov who blasts a ball into the box that's hacked into the air for YOUNG... Ashley Young miscued his volley.
    • 3' Arsenal immediately settle into their groove, stringing together twenty or more passes together, moving from left to right and back again. The move ends with Diarra shooting from distance, forcing Carso into a save and conceding a corner.
