    • 82' GOAL! Leon Osman breezes unchallenged right down the middle. He has time to pick his spot and strokes into the bottom corner! This is like a training round exercise!

    • 60' GOAL! Rule 1: Do not gift Tim Cahill a shot from the penalty spot! Paul McShane floundered trying to clear a through ball, and Cahill capitalises to bury it from 12 yards and make it 4-1!
    • 58' Yakubu is bearing down on goal... he's all on his own on the edge of the box... Drags his shot well wide! That was poor! There is no happy medium with this guy. He's either brilliant or awful!
    • 54' Cahill loops a header onto the top of the bar and wins a corner. Not sure Gordon got a touch. In the end it's scrambled away.

    • 12' GOAL!!! Yakubu scores for Everton in lucky fashion! McShane completely misses his clearance and the striker runs through. His shot bounces down off the outstretched leg of Higginbotham and loops over the helpless Gordon!

    • 6' What a chance Tim Cahill!! A deep cross is headed down to the Australian, who has an age to set himself but sees his left foot shot blocked by a defender.
