    • 90' Portsmouth fire it long towards the Spurs area, but Chimbonda meets it with a firm header back in the other direction.
    • 89' Tottenham are content to play for time now. Tainio goes forward and finds O'Hara...whose shot is deflected wide for a corner.
    • 88' Lennon is coming off for Tainio. He supplied the cross for the goal today.
    • 86' Spurs with another sustained spell of pressure. Their passing today has been good, but Defoe can't quite get the shot away.

    • 14:50 Santa Claus has just made a somewhat uncomfortable appearance at Fratton Park. He abseiled down rather jerkily and nervously from the top of one of the stands.
    • - SPURS TEAM NEWS: Spurs have the familiar list of defensive absentees, with Gareth Bale, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Ricardo Rocha and Anthony Gardner all still long-term absentees. Top-scorer Robbie Keane is still suspended for his controversial red card against Birmingham. The only silver lining for them is that captain Ledley King is close to a return to fitness.
    • - POMPEY TEAM NEWS: Harry Redknapp's massive squad will be further strengthened by the return to fitness of reserve goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown as back up for the ever-present David James. Midfielder Sean Davis is fit again, although the form of Pedro Mendes and Papa Bouba Diop should keep him out of the side this week.
