    • 90+4 Full time here at Upton Park, and it'll be a long journey home for Sunderland and their fans. Remember, we have LIVE La Liga action coming up at 8pm, as Atletico Madrid take on Real Zaragoza. And right now you can follow the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix, as Lewis Hamilton tries to add some shine to a bad week for English sport!
    • 90+2 Now Boa Morte is through one-on-one with Gordon... Gordon spreads himslef well to block the low shot from the substitute! 4-1 would have been an extremely harsh scoreline!
    • 90+1 GOAL!!! Bellamy pounces to break sunderland hearts! Boa morte pulls the ball back from the byline into the path of Bellamy, who toe-pokes it past Gordon at the near post to kill this game off.
    • 90' Four minutes for Sunderland to salvage the point that they so deserve from this entertaining encounter.
    • 88' There is a real lull in the tempo of the match as it reaches it's conclusion. West Ham, with the aid of the extra defender, are shuttng this game down.
    • 84' Carlton Cole limps off, and will be replaced by Anton Ferdinand.
    • 82' Roy Keane has one last throw of the dice, as Ian Harte replaces Danny Collins. Jones has another header, this time just wide of the near post.
    • 77' GOAL!! Solano scores four minutes into his West Ham debut! McCartney's cross isn't dealt with and the Peruvian comes in at the far post. His shot rebounds off the post and hits the heel of the diving Gordon and in! Desperately unlucky for Gordon and Sunderland!
    • 76' Bellamy is sprinting to chase down a long ball, but Craig Gordon is quick off his line to clear it.
    • 73' A double substitution for the Hammers now. Nolberto Solano makes his Hammers debut as he replaces Noble, and the battered and bruised Etherington comes off for Luis Boa Morte.
    • 72' Nice turn by Chopra in midfield and he's away, but the pass out to the wing was mis-hit and West Ham regain possession.
    • 69' Halford whips in a delightful which is headed by JONES! His glancing header is JUST wide when Green was at full stretch!
    • 66' The corner is met in the air by ETUHU... CLEARED OFF THE LINE BY NOBLE! West Ham break forward and Cole's shot is blocked. Etherington follows up and goes down! It was a good challenge and the Referee rightly waves away the appeals.
    • 66' Another Sunderland corner. No prizes for guessing who the danger man is here...
    • 64' Now higginbotham concedes a corner at the other end. Jones heads it away but straight back to Noble. This time the low cross finds COLE... His low shot doesn't have much pace but it almost wrong-foots Gordon, before the Scotsman leaps to the ground and gets both hands on it!
    • 63' Sunderland have a corner, which Jones just cna't reach and it's hacked away by Upson.
    • 59' West Ham break forward, Etherington mistimes his pass but they win a corner. Jones rises again to head clear.
    • 57' Jones flicks on Gordon's goal kick to Leadbitter. He takes one touch that opens up space for him on the edge of the box and he STRIKES... OFF THE POST! Green got his fingertips to it and the left-footed half volley rattled the goal frame! What a save Robert Green!
    • 55' Bellamy is wide of the goal and gets a nod-dwon and strikes... into the sidenetting. It's not really happening for him today.
    • 54' Jones nods a high ball down for LEADBITTER... He half-volleyed on the turn , but it was high and wide.
    • 51' GOAL!! Jones gets the equaliser! He outleaps Upson from a corner and powers a header downwards into the net! The acrobatics in celebration are even more spectacular!
    • 49' Etherington hustles and bustles down near the corner flag, really testing Halford and Nosworthy in possession. They manage to clear the ball and up to Chopra, but Neill nods it back to Green.
    • 47' Chopra breaks forward but his little touch through to Stokes is cut out by McCartney.
    • 46' Second half is underway. Sunderland will have to take the game to the Hammers now. Roy Keane is thinking the same, and has made two changes at half time, with O'Donovan and Wallace coming off for Chopra and Stokes
    • 45+3 That's it, half time at Upton Park. Since the goal it's been quite an open game. It should open up more in the second half as Sunderland push for the equaliser.
    • 45' They take the short corner. It doesn't work. Do they ever? Three minutes of added time to be played.
    • 43' Etherington slides in to challenge Miller and hurts himself in the process. Miller, accidentally, trod on his arm. Once he's been treated, Sunderland have a corner.
    • 41' Bellamy gets into the box, bamboozles Higginbotham with five or six stepovers and puts in the cross... headed out for a corner.
    • 40' McCartney intercepts Etuhu's pass and West Ham break! McCartney feeds Cole who tries the shot on the turn when Bellamy was free in the box. It deflects off Nosworthy's boot and into the arms of Green.
    • 39' Bellamy, who has had a quiet game, is forced wide by Higginbotham buts wins the throw. Neill takes and it gets over to McCartney, who loses possession and Sunderland have a goal kick.
    • 37' West Ham are keeping the ball well, in a way that's very reminiscent of the play just before Cole's goal. Sunderland are well organised but can't afford to give them so much time and space.
    • 34' Good spell of pressure by Sunderland, again Jones is instrumental in winning the ball and passing it around. West Ham deal with it all well though.
    • 32' McCartney knocks it out to Etherington, who wins a free kick from O'Donovan. Noble fires it to the far post for BOWYER... His header flies over the bar and behind.
    • 30' Mullins is back on now. He didn't miss much.
    • 29' Hayden Mullins is off the pitch having his knee taped up, but play continues.
    • 27' Sunderland get a corner. It's headed out but only as far as Higginbotham, who goes for the overhead kick! Nice idea, but way off the mark.
    • 25' Jones drops deep and wins the ball in midfield, but there is no one free for him to pass to. An all action display from the Trinidad and Tobago international so far.
    • 23' Etherington makes space on the edge of the box and SHOOTS... Gordon was beaten but it was outside of the post.
    • 21' Nosworthy marshalls Bellamy well in the box, but concedes a corner. It's cleared out for a Sunderland throw.
    • 20' Noble's low cross is intercepted and Sunderland break. Upson heads out Wallace's cross and eventually McCartney wins a throw.
    • 19' Sunderland are now taking the game to West Ham, with some nice build-up play all going through Jones. He's touched the ball with his chest more than his feet so far!
    • 16' O'Donovan gets it wide on the right and hits a first-time cross. It's well struck, too well struck in fact, and no one can get too it. Good play from Sunderland. Grant Leadbitter goes in the book for a foul on Bowyer.
    • 15' Jones chests down a long ball and VOLLEYS... Green palms it away two-handed. Good effort.
    • 14' The game is following the same pattern as before the goal, with Sunderland mere spectators as the Hammers keep possession with ease.
    • 11' Cole gets a yellow card to go with his goal, after going in two-footed on Greg Halford. A harsh booking really.
    • 10' Great start for the Hammers, who dominated the opening ten minutes. Sunderland seemed happy to let them come, and got their just desserts for their negativity.
    • 8' GOAL!! Mullins sprays it out wide to McCartney, who does well to get his cross in, and Carlton Cole nods it in past Gordon, who was rooted to the spot! That's his first goal since January!
    • 6' West Ham playing keep ball, knocking it assuredly around midfield. The attempted killer pass from Noble is too long for Bowyer though.
    • 4' Bowyer and Leadbitter share a 'moment', with their faces too close together for comfort. Referee Chris Foy has a word and asks them to quell their passion until after the match.
    • 3' West Ham win a corner, which Etherington overhits. Noble is bullied off the ball by Miller.
    • 1' Ross Wallace takes a free kick wide on the right, and Jones loses Upson but heads over.
    • 1' Craig Bellamy is back for the Hammers, and partners Carlton Cole up front. Sunderland start with a five-man midfield, anchored by Dixon Etuhu. The match is underway!
