    Time:90'
    • West Ham
    • Wigan Athletic
    • 90' And there is the final whistle - if the game went on for another 10 minutes you feel that they may have got the win, but Wigan fought hard and their strong start to the season continues. Eggert Magnusson does not look happy.
    • 90' All West Ham in these final moments but it looks like they are just going to run out of time.
    • 88' Dyer wants a penalty as Bramble clashes on him but it looked like a fair decision.
    • 87' Brown goes into the box for a bad tackle as West Ham contine to press.
    • 85' Dean Ashton has just fired a free-kick MILES OVER - but West Ham looking for the lead.
    • 83' Ashton now with a header into the ground but not enough power on that and it is saved.
    • 81' AND NOW WEST HAM HAVE LEVELLED - Bowyer has got it - Boa Morte has slipped in the former Leeds man who calmly finishes and it came just moments after Bowyer just couldn't place home a low cross from Boa Morte.
    • 79' WIGAN HAVE THE LEAD!!!!! Scharner has scored with a bicycle kick!!!! A long throw from Melchiot flicked on by Heskey and then Scharner produces a gem of a scissors kick - sensational.
    • 75' WEst Ham take off Bellamy with Boa Morte coming on.
    • 70' Wigan are giving as good as they are getting and the home fans are clearly getting frustrated by this performance - WEst Ham have still not scored from play this season.
    • 65' West Ham bring on Bowyer for Mullins.
    • 64' WIGAN MISS A SITTER - West Ham just can't deal with a cross from Koumas - it falls to Aghahowa his effort is saved but it pops up for Melchiot who really should head into the net but he puts it wide.
    • 61' Not a big surprise - Dean Ashton comes on for West Ham - Zamora makes way.
    • 57' West Ham are really putting on the pressure now - they are getting plenty of balls into the box but Wigan are defending well.
    • 54' And at the other end Scharner has a shot from outside the box that flies wide - the game beginning to open up though.
    • 53' Landzaat handles the ball and get a yellow card - was it inside the box? Referee say now - Noble takes the free kick into the wall - it comes back to him but his half-volley flies just wide.
    • 52' A clearance from Melchiot finds Aghahowa through - Green comes rushing out - Aghahowa gets the shot away but it goes over and he then gets clattered by Green.
    • 51' The two boys who were hurt look ok but the game remains very dull fare. Another Hammers attack ends as Dyer finds himself offside.
    • 48' Anton Ferdinand also seems to be hurting a little too, we need to keep an eye on him too.
    • 47' No chances in the early stages of this half but Craig Bellamy seemed to pick up a little knock and is hobbling a little - we need to keep our eye on him.
    • 45' And there is the half-time whistle - West Ham with lots of possession but little to show for it. 0-0 at the break.

    • 39' Wigan have been forced to make a change with Aghahowa coming on for Sibierski
    • 38' Another West Ham shot but again no save for Kirkland to make as McCartney's effort is deflected over by Bramble. From the resultng corner - McCartney and Upson sort of get in each others way and the ball goes wide.
    • 37' Lovely little quick flick from Bellamy sees the ball drop for Hayden Mullins just inside the area but he can't make a proper contact on the ball - story of West Ham's half.
    • 34' Craig Bellamy has just put the ball in the net after being put through by Dyer but he was offside - Correct decision but close.
    • 32' Ferdinand needs to be sharp at the back to clear away the ball as Heskey looks to power into the box.
    • 28' West Ham have a big shout for a penalty as Wigan have all sorts of problems clearing their lines. At the back post Zamora then side foots back into the six yard box - Noble looks like he is going to tap home but he is pulled down by Granqvist - NO PEANLTY GIVEN THOUGH.
    • 26' Superb stuff from Koumas down the left he skips past Neill down the left and then pings in a great quick cross with his left foot - Scharner was storming in from midfield but under pressure he could only head wide.
    • 23' Good chance missed by Zamora as a cross comes in from Dyer and Zamora at the back post had a chance to volley home but he barely makes contact with the ball.
    • 17' BEST CHANCE OF THE GAME SO FAR - Anton Ferdinand is left unmarked from a corner and from around the penalty spot he really should hit the target but pulls his header wide. West Ham starting to get closer though.
    • 14' Wigan are defending well but are not really getting anything going at the other end. Koumas found a little space down the left but his cross sailed over the bar - poor game so far.
    • 10' West Ham have a free in a decent position around 40 yards out to curl in a cross. Etherinton floats it into the box but it goes all the way to Kirkland.
    • 9' Kirkland has to come race out as Dyer almost gets in - he dives and gets the ball - lets it spill for a moment but gathers it quickly back.
    • 6' Good work from Etherington down the left but his cross is cut out - it comes out to McCartney who tries a long range effort but that goes well over - West Ham starting to get on top though.
    • 4' Bobby Zamora with the first shot of the match and it is...AWFUL - the only thing it was in danger of hitting was the corner flag.
    • 3' Wigan have made their intentions known early on here - lots of long balls up to Heskey already - it is not pretty, but will it be effective?
    • 1' And we are underway here at Upton Park - a lively start but no chances as of yet.
    • - Players just coming out now - Wigan in their white away shirts.
    • - Hello and welcome to Upton Park for West Ham v Wigan - the Hammers have three points from six while Wigan have six from nine so if either of these sides can pick up a win today they will find themselves in good shape at the top end of the table.
