new season and still a w**k team i'm on about man united.

UP THE VILLA!A 2 point improvement on last seasons tally and could have been so much more with greater squad depth.However the real messiah ONeill with all his years of managerial experience will carry on our growth and development in the right direction,backed by a quiet and steady owner and directors.Our club is a model of how certain other clubs should perhaps run themselves perhaps?Oh,that brings Barcodes United of the championship to mind doesnt it...hhahahahhahahaahaha,bye bye you whining geordies.

Dont think Newcastle will come back to the Premiership in a few years. They are too troubled to stay up. Shearer doesnt have the magic. Players will start to scurry off now. Obafemi, Viduka and Owen will be good target for Man City. They dont even have the motivation to contest in a hard fighting league like the Championship.
I hope they learn their lesson in 2years!

Best of luck in the future Newcastle United, your time of reckoning will come again as soon as 'the posion' title is lost from the job and someone who is prepared to put time & investment into the club your rewards will come

* awaits * (sorry...)

chin up camron take on the chin like a man the ship has sunk, now see all the rats leave and the pied piper go back to the bbc. ALAN SHEARER GOS IN HISTORY BOOKS WHAT A GUY.

Owen will have woken up this morning wondering if his ongoing (& self inflicted) nightmare will ever end. It all started when he refused to sign the extension to his contract offered by Houllier, saying that he wanted to be sure he would be playing in the Champions League the next season. Houllier left, Benitez arrived, and his very first task was to show Owen the door - much to Michael's surprise. His bluff had been called - Benitez didn't want anyone at the club who didn't want to play for Liverpool.
Owen was promptly sold (cut-price) to Real Madrid, and as he was sitting on the bench week after week, he had to watch Liverpool not only PLAY in the Champions League, but WIN it as well. When Madrid realised their error and tried to offload Owen, he said that he wanted to come back to Liverpool, but Benitez refused to pay more than he sold him for; Souness foolishly paid WAY over the odds to make sure that Newcastle "snatched" him, and his career has gone downhill ever since.
I do feel some sympathy for Owen, but I'm sure he will now surely understand the old saying "No player is bigger than the club". His greed and arrogance started his own fall from grace, and I'm sure he now bitterly regrets not signing the contract that Houllier offered him. Once Liverpool got rid of him, his career went into freefall. And now the Championship (NOT the Champions League) awits him. Sad....

The solution to Newcastle's problems is obvious... sack the owner !

they completely deserve it : (

I'm not a newcastle supporter but one thing i do know, Newcastle WILL l bounce back;- WHY because they are "NEWCASTLE UNITED" Interesting times ahead one thinks, They have the best supporters in the land BAR NON who deserve better, a sad day for football.

Where is the problem of Newcastle? I think at some time before Big sam's era the coach collected a bunch of rubbish players. I believe a Stoke and Hull city are far better than Newcastle. It's gonna be hard to bounce back to the premier league. Mike Ashley you really deserve this but you don't know it.
