Geordie fan all my life, but @#$% is @#$% !. they deserved to go down for constantly under acheiving with a squad which is better than half the premier league have.Fact is they deserve to be in the championship thats all they are fit for, maybe now they will sort our the @#$% that is newcastle united. In a time of great need, they needed someone with management experience. I love Shearer, I'm not a Newcastle fan but Shearer IS a legend, just not a good manager yet. If he is serious about management, he needs a year or two with lower league clubs before even thinking about the Premier League, and the mistake of appointing him has taken Newcastle to the Championship.
