    • 9' BARRY GOES CLOSE!!! The England midfielder gets a glancing header on a cross from the overlapping Shorey but the ball slides just wide of the right-hand post!
    • 8' Shorey crosses from the Villa left but neither Heskey nor Carew attacks it and it is easily headed away.
    • 7' West Ham have made much the stronger start, with some superb movement completely bamboozling Villa at the moment.
    • 6' GREAT SAVING TACKLE MILNER!! Boa Morte finds Stanislas on the right side of the Villa box and he has the ball nicked off his toe as he prepares to shoot!
    • 4' Carew fires a low shot from the edge of the box but it lacks zip and Green makes an easy save.
    • 2' STANISLAS!!! The youngster makes a searing run through the middle, beating two men, but he then places his shot wide with Friedel's goal at his mercy! What a chance...
