    • 90' GOAL!! As Blackburn attmept to clear the ball from the corner Warnock manages to play it right into the path of Agbonlahor, who pounces to fire past Robinson via a deflection to kill this game off!
    • 90' villa win a corner, and Ashley Young is content to keep the ball there until Warnock concedes another one. We're not even in stoppage time yet and villa are running sdown the clock.
    • 89' McCarthy does very well to hold off two defenders and set up a shot for PEDERSEN... The Norwegian miscued his shot.

    • 40' Stiliyan Petrov is at the near post to head the first corner behind, and Friedel flaps at the second before Davies clears the danger. As the third corner is sent back in Gareth Barry has his arms all over McCarthy, but no foul.
    • 40' Roberts holds the ball up well again and plays in McCARTHY... The south African scuffed his shot but Sidwell puts it behind for a corner anyway.
    • 37' Blackburn have a free-kick on the wing. Luke Young's header loops into the air and Friedel is under it on the goal-line... The referee blows up for a foul on the keeper by Samba, who decided the best way to stop the keeper was the put an arm round his neck!
    • 35' Another Villa corner, and this time the delivery is met by DAVIES... The headed effort is glanced wide of the far post. Sam Allardyce will be furious - His side have already conceded one goal from a set piece, had one disallowed and seen Villa miss two other headers.

    • 15' Villa are probing on either flank but are struggling to break through a well-organised rovers back line at the moment. McCarthy trips Milner and Villa have a free-kick on the right wing.
    • 12' Gareth Barry flicks a long ball on to Agbonlahor, but the flag is up for offside against the England striker. Think he might have been level as the ball was played though.
    • 9' Jason Roberts powers down the wing and forces the challenge from Luke Young. Pedersen's long throw into the box is useful, but the greater height of the Villa defence again wins out.
    • 8' Now Morten Gamst Pedersen gets a knock to the back of the head as he goes up for a header with Luke Young. The Norwegian is ok to play on.
    • 7' It's been all Villa so far, but Blackburn win a corner. The tidy Villa defence deals with the corner well though.
    • 5' Stephen Warnock is clattered from behind by Barry. The collision was an accident, behind the Rovers full-back looks a little dazed as he strolls back into position.
