    • 89' Ivanovic is given a brief outing, as the excellent Bosingwa is removed from the action.
    • 83' Luiz Felipe Scolari replaces Kalou with Paolo Ferreira as Chelsea look to close this one out.

    • 60' PENALTY SHOUT FOR BOLTON!! Elmander's volley is heading towards goal when it strikes Terry somewhere around his shoulder or upper arm. Replays are inconclusive, but the referee's decision is NO PENALTY.
    • 56' WHAT A CHANCE FOR CHELSEA!!! Kalou headed forward to send Deco clean through, but the Portuguese midfielder shot wide as he attempted to chip over the advancing Jaaskelainen.
    • 53' Gardner has added an extra bite to Bolton since his arrival. The home side are really having at go at Chelsea now.
    • 49' Good early pressure from Bolton. Megson's men and refusing to lie down in this one. But as they push forward spaces are sure to appear in behind and Anelka is lurking.

    • 21' WHAT A GOAL FOR DECO!!!!! Jaaskelainen makes a save with his legs for Bolton, and Ballack heads the clearance towards DECO JUST INSIDE THE BOX...WHO SCISSOR-KICKS FROM OVER HIS SHOULDER AND INTO THE BOTTOM CORNER!!! 2-0 to Chelsea!!
    • 18' Davies is lucky to escape a straight red for an horrific challenge on Ashley Cole. The ball had long gone when Davies threw himself studs first into Mrs Cheryl Cole. Fortunately for her, Chelsea and England - Ashley is fine.
    • 16' Another shaky moment for Cech, who fluffs a clearance straight into the path of Kevin Nolan...the striker shoots first-time, but his effort lacks power and allows Cech to get across and gather.
    • 13' Taylor picks out Davies, who heads into the path of Elmander...but his shot flies over from just outside the box.
    • 9' GOOOOOOAAAALLLL!!! Jose Bosingwa checks inside on the right flank and plays a delightful left-foot ball to pick out ANELKA, WHO DIVES AND HEADS PAST JUSSI JAASKELAINEN TO PUT CHELSEA AHEAD!!! Fine goal from the Frenchman!
    • 8' Corner for Bolton on their left. Gavin McCann's ball it met superbly by DAVIES...JUST OVER THE BAR!!!
    • 5' First corner of the match to Chelsea, but Frank Lampard's outswinger is easily dealt with by Bolton. Moments later, Kalou lets fly from just outside the box...his prodded effort goes five feet over the bar.
    • 3' Bright start from Chelsea, with Michael Ballack and Deco buzzing around in midfield. Nicolas Anelka gets his first touch against his former club. At the other end Petr Cech has a nervous early moment, slicing a clearance under pressure from Davies.
    • 1' And we're away at the Reebok! Both sides are in their traditional colours, Bolton in white and Chelsea in blue. The pitch appears to be in excellent condition and we've got a clear and bright winter's day.
    • - TEAM NEWS: Chelsea welcome back defender Alex, who slots in for Branislav Ivanovic alongside skipper John Terry at the back. It's the only change from the side beaten at home by Arsenal last Sunday.
