    • 90' ALL OVER!!! Newcastle have somehow held on for a draw, having been completely outplayed for the entire 90 minutes. What a point for Kinnear and his men to take back to the northeast!
    • 84' Great defending from Habib Beye, who gets across to deny Anelka a free header at goal inside the six-yard box. Guthrie then sends Deco into orbit with an aggressive challenge.
    • 82' Michael Ballack enters the fray at the expense of Joe Cole. There is still time for Chelsea.
    • 78' Another change from Joe Kinnear. Charles N'Zogbia replaces Jonas Gutierrez.
    • 77' Ashley Cole gets to the byline, but his cross fails to find a blue shirt. Chelsea just cannot find the final ball.

    • 30' Neat work from Owen, dropping off his marker, laying off a decent ball and inviting Butt to play in Martins...but the Nigerian can't beat John Terry to the through-ball.
    • 26' It's all Chelsea. The home side are dominating possession and we've seen precious little of Owen or Martins in attack for Newcastle.
    • 23' Corner to Chelsea. Deco takes it long and high, but it comes back in for Branislav Ivanovic...who heads tamely into Given's arms.
