The Australian was in on goal - and the decision to give a penalty was definitely the right one - but Lucas Neill could have got back to Cahill I think, so the straight red was really harsh.     • 16' West Ham beat the Everton offside trap with a ball over the top from right to left by Kovac. It falls into Tristan's path, he tries to round Howard - but his touch is too heavy and the keeper just gets to it first.

    • 13' Fellaini heads a high ball down perfectly into the path of Osman, who's driving into the box on the right - but Osman makes a complete hash of his shot and the ball bobbles tamely into touch. Good chance though.
