Blackburn Rovers moved out of the Premier League bottom three after they came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage. More

90+4 And seconds after that save the final whistle goes, Rovers win and escape the bottom three! A big, big win for Blackburn and Sam Allardyce is delighted, although in truth Fulham were poor in the second half.

90' Corner to Fulham, won by Kamara on the left but it's wasted and Rovers clear. Nevland on for Davies.- 89' Fulham have a free kick around 30 yards out... Davies drills it low and weak into the wall, Rovers clear but still with Fulham, back in by Pantsil but now Rovers break, Roberts on the left takes it into the corner...
- 87' ROVERS SUB: Pedersen off for Dunn.
85' Pedersen on the left, good ball in for Roberts in the box, he turns Kallio who falls flat on his backside and Roberts hammers it in off the angle of post and bar! 2-1 Rovers! A hammer blow to Fulham, and this would take Blackburn out of the bottom three! Fulham have throw this the way and, it begs the question, why was Kallio - who never plays - brought on to play centre half for Hughes?- 81' Diouf turns Konchesky inside out but the cross is headed clear by Hangeland. Fulham break but Davies can't get past Nelsen and fouls him.
- 80' ROVERS SUB: Mokoena on for the tiring Tugay.
- 79' Good ball from Kamara far post but Ooijer beats Dempsey to it, corner. It's swung over by Davies and Dempsey makes contact but it loops over.
- 77' FULHAM SUB: Kamara is on for Gera.
- 74' FULHAM SUB: Kallio on for Hughes.
- 73' Gera plays the ball in for Johnson who goes down on the edge of the box but nothing given! Nelsen and Samba are furious with Johnson.
- 70' Hangeland wins a header and Pedersen goes down, don't know why but Rovers play on and Warnock with the volley but tipped away in style by Schwarzer! That goal has given Rovers belief they can win this!
- 68' Fulham clear a corner and it's headed back in by Tugay and Samba heads it across goal and Diouf scores with a tap-in at the far post! He was offside! But the ref allows it! He was around five yards behind the last defender when the initial header went in! That was the same phase of play so still offside. Maybe I missed something but that is a poor decision in my book.
- 64' McCarthy with a free-kick for Rovers but he blasts it well over. He came on five minutes ago, for Keith Andrews.
- 62' Good play by Fulham as Konchesky gets in on the left and drills a great low ball in, Dempsey with the control and a cute backheel and Konchesky again plays it across goal but Johnson can't get there and away by Nelsen! Lovely football by the Whites.
- 61' Fulham are really under pressure here as Hangeland has to arc a long leg around Roberts. Fulham clear and Davies on the left sends in a brilliant first-time ball with the outside of his right and JOHNSON but it's just too high for the little fella and the visitors survive! Nelsen prevented him from attacking the cross, good defending from the Kiwi.
- 60' Fulham fail to clear the corner and the loose ball drops for SAMBA SURELY but he somehow puts it wide! Ah it was blocked, otherwise that was surely 1-1.
- 59' Long one from Rovers and Hangeland with the defensive header AND WARNOCK WITH THE CHEST CONTROL AND A BRILLIANT VOLLEY BUT TIPPED AWAY BY SCHWARZER! Corner, great save.
- 58' Dempsey almost gets in at the near post after some shocking marking by Oiijer but it's behind for another corner. Rovers clear this time, Pantsil pulls the shirt of Diouf, free kick.
- 55' Good break from Fulham as Dempsey spreads it wide to Davies, he cuts inside and goes wide left to Konchesky, great cross and JOHNSON SURELY but he has his back to goal, can't get a shot out and has to control on his chest but the chance has gone and Rovers clear! If Fulham had a top-class striker they'd be in the top six...
53' Rovers break after another Fulham corner and Murphy trips Pedersen rather cynically and gets a booking.- 52' Corner to Fulham... swung to Hangeland who flies in with a power header that comes off Samba and goes just wide! The second corner is swung in from the right and was that a handball? No says the ref, Rovers survive!
- 50' Murphy gives it away just outside his own area and Pedersen latches on to it, turning into the box and he can get a shot away but Hughes gets across to make it difficult for him and it's well wide in the end.
46' Second half underway at the Cottage!- 45' Diouf is STILL mouthing off at Rob Styles, he has to be careful or Rovers could walk out after the break with 10 men!
- 45' Diouf talks his way into the book after the whistle goes, complaining about one of several incidents he was involved in.
- 45' Half-time, 1-0 to Fulham!
- 44' Hangeland climbs over Diouf to win a header, and the latter gets him in the ribs and gives away a free kick.
- 42' Fulham make a sow's ear of clearing a high one and Diouf dives in but straight at Schwarzer.
40' Johnson is somewhat harshly called offside getting on to a Gera ball.- 38' Hughes lets a high ball from Robinson bounce and Roberts latches on to it, turning and shooting low but well wide.
- 36' Murphy is clattered by Tugay but gets straight up and slides in hard on Andrews but clean says the ref. Throw to Blackburn.
- 33' Blackburn are having more of this match now, with Andrews and Warnock snapping at their oppponents' heels... Konchesky goes in hard on Diouf but no foul.
- 30' Fulham head it away at the near post and the clearance is completed... high into the box again but Hangeland heads out for a throw.
- 29' Good spell of pressure for Rovers culminates in Pedersen's good near-post cross being headed behind by Hughes for a corner on the left.
- 24' Free-kick to Blackburn on halfway, launched high into the box and Hangeland's header goes backwards but Schwarzer gathers, getting a boot in the head from Diouf for his troubles.
- 23' Fulham are dominating possession in this match and Dempsey is doing really well up front, winning a lot of the headers. He's an odd one Dempsey, not quite a striker, not quite a midfielder but pretty good at both.
- 18' Long throw on the right, Nelsen appears to handle and Gera can score but Robinson blocks and Gera can head the rebound in but over! The whistle has gone for an imaginary Fulham infringement, the only foul in there was a high foot from Samba.
- 16' Warnock gets forward and cuts inside, Roberts shakes off Hangeland on the edge of the box and plays it inside to Warnock WHO CURLS A BEAUTY PAST WARNOCK BUT OFF THE POST, ACROSS THE FACE OF GOAL AND AWAY! Fulham survive a scare, great effort by Warnock though.
- 15' Blackburn with a rare spell in possession but it trickles harmlessly back to Schwarzer.
- 13' OUCH! Warnock clatters late into Murphy from behind but -credit to Murphy - his old Liverpool mate gets straight back up and gives him a hand-tap and the ref declines to show a card. Deserved one though.
- 10' Gera on the right, he clips a cross to Dempsey on the edge of the box, he flicks it on, Davies now has a chance on the edge of the box but straight at Robinson who parries and Rovers clear. Good football Fulham.
- 8' Davies plays it into Dempsey in the area, a great backheel from the American to JOHNSON WHO MUST SCORE BUT A BRILLIANT LAST-GASP BLOCK BY ANDREWS! Johnson took a touch when perhaps he could have shot first time but still a wonderful piece of defending from the Irishman.
- 5' Rovers clear the corner and they build an attack... Diouf gets down the right and puts a ball in for Pedersen but the Norway man can't get on the end of it.
- 4' The ball drops to Davies and he has a pop but deflected wide for a corner.
- 3' Diouf is through but the flag is up for offside.
- 1' Schwarzer plays it long, Samba heads clear but Murphy on halfway heads it straight back. Samba lets it go over his head and Dempsey is in, he nods it past Nelsen and he must score and he does, slotting it past Robinson for 1-0 in the first minute! Fulham take the lead!! Shocking defending by Rovers.
1' Match underway at the Cottage!- - BLACKBURN TEAM NEWS: Roque Santa Cruz does not make it, he was a doubt, but Paul Robinson does while David Dunn returns to the bench after injury. One up front for Rovers, Jason Roberts.
