But you sure can't complain about the entertainment value: that's was breathless stuff! Thanks for joining us, and with us for the rest of the day's sporting action.
    • 90'+5 CHANCE FOR TURNER - BUT IT'S WIDE!!!! That is surely the last chance for Phil Brown's men to snatch a point.
    • 90'+4 Hull come again, and Dawson has a chance to drill home from 30 yards. But Brown makes a great save, considering his view was blocked and he saw the ball late.
    • 90'+3 Hull throw everyone forward for one final thrust, but Warnock's header clears Ashbee's cross with ease.
    • 90'+1 Five extra minutes to play - and given the number of stoppages that seems on the stingy side by the referee.

    • 66' Hull are deep in trouble now: Pedersen was yellowed for elbowing Marney in the air - which is clearly what prompted Marney's retaliation. Elbowed or not, you can't go around kicking opponents in the crown jewels and expect to stay on the pitch.
    • 64' Penalty shout for Hull as Samba seems to take out Turner in the box, but it's not given and it would have been harsh.
    • 62' DEAN MARNEY HAS BEEN SENT OFF!!!!! He goes for a tangle with Pedersen and both fall to the floor - THEN KICKS PEDERSEN IN THE BALLS AS HE GETS TO HIS FEET!!!! No complaints to the FA about that one...
    • 59' GREAT CHANCE FOR BLACKBURN!!! Santa Cruz outjumps Turner to head past the poorly-placed Duke - it was a weak, bouncy header but the keeper was beaten if Santa Cruz had got his attempt on target.
    • 57' Chance for Blackburn as Diouf swings in a free kick - taken comfortably by Duke as Santa Cruz couldn't get there.
    • 55' Hull win a free kick, and they need to make something happen here if they are to get back in to this game. It's a good ball in by Dawson, but the Blackburn defence are totally solid.
    • 52' Geovanni is still furious on the bench - and the crowd gave him a standing ovation for showing his extreme displeasure at his manager's decision! Amazing scenes here at the KC!
    • 50' Double change for Hull: Geovanni is coming off the pitch!!! Extraordinary decision by Phil Brown, and the crowd - as not to mention the striker himself - are furious.
    • 48' Great chance for Blackburn as they win a free kick just on the right edge of the area as Diouf is barged over. Pedersen's shot is saved well, THEN GRELLA THUNDERS A SHOT ON GOAL - AND IT'S A GOOD SAVE FROM DUKE! The deflection falls to Diouf but he shoots over.
    • 47' It's Hull who start the second half the better, putting long throws and crosses in to the box to create some pressure on the Blackburn defence. The visitors clear everything away with ease.
    • 46' We're about to kick off, and Blackburn have been forced to bring the injured Robinson off at half-time. Jason Brown replaces him between the sticks.
    • - Hull looked good for the opening few minutes of that half and were definitely the better side - but once Blackburn had cut them open they started looking the better team, and could easily be 3-0 ahead by now.
    • 45'+3 Chance for Hull - with Robinson crocked all they need to do is get up the other end of the pitch - but the ball is cut out by the visitors' defence, and that's half-time.
    • 45'+2 Robinson looks awful but he's staying on the pitch for the requisite minute or two to get more treatment at half-time.
    • 45'+2 Robinson is down after clashing with Turner while the pair challenged for a ball - it looked like an accidental knee in the chest for Robinson. Turner is carded, which seems a little harsh for what was a definite 50/50 ball.

    • 43' Pedersen wins a corner on the left with some Ronaldo-lite back-and-forth footwork. Diouf will take... but it's hit too far back and is no trouble for the defence.
    • 41' Santa Cruz chases down a ball to the line and manages to hook a cross back across the goal, but none of his team-mates are in position to attack the ball.
    • 39' Good chance for Hull as Warnock concedes a free kick on the left by pushing into Geovanni - the cross is dangerous, but Robinson goes for it and punches away just well enough.
    • 36' Hull are still stunned and Blackburn come again, this time Santa Cruz having an amazing chance to score... but he's quickly closed down by the keeper. That could so easily have been three!

    • 34' GOAL FOR BLACKBURN!!!!!! IT'S STEPHEN WARNOCK!!!!! Santa Cruz was run off the ball by Duke, but he pulled the ball back to where Warnock was waiting to bury the ball in the net. Great goal for Blackburn!
    • 30' A nice move for Hull up the right brings a chance for Geovanni who heads well - but Robinson saves. A second later the flag goes up for offside, so it wouldn't have counted even if he had scored.
    • 27' Geovanni makes a swathing run past three Blackburn men, but another three team up on him just as he gets close to the box and the Brazilian is stopped in his tracks.
    • 25' Duke takes the corner well, and pumps another massive clearance up the pitch... but he's given possession away and Blackburn come back at Hull again.
    • 25' Another long throw for Blackburn, this time from the left - and it comes off a defender for a corner.
    • 23' It's Pedersen who goes for it, but the ball ricochets off the wall harmlessly. Corner to Blackburn, taken by Diouf and well caught by Duke.
    • 22' Free kick for Blackburn, dead centre and just six yards outside the edge of the box. There's five players over the ball discussing whose turn it is this time...
    • 21' That was a great chance for the home side to take the lead, and with Turner on the end of a header in the six-yard box you'd expect the net to be bulging. Robinson really showed his class there.
    • 20' Free kick in a useful position for Hull as Garcia is brought down five yards outside the box. Marney steps up to take it... AND IT'S A GREAT HEADER BY TURNER - BUT AN EVEN BETTER SAVE FROM ROBINSON!!!
    • 19' Hull's tactics at the moment seem to consist of goalkeeper Matt Duke smashing enormous clearances upfield and directly into the Blackburn box. He's got some sort of right foot on him.

    • 8' Blackburn push forward again, with Pedersen having a long throw from the right... Duke comes out unconvincingly and fumbles, but his back-four are on hand to snuff out any trouble.
    • 6' Corner for Blackburn and Samba gets his head to it, this could be trouble... but the ref has blown for a push in the box by one of the attackers.
    • 3' Blackburn's succession of long, high passes put a bit of pressure on Blackburn - and Pedersen gets on the end to force the save from Duke.
