    • 89' It really looks like Hull might do it, they've got the measure of West Ham and are just plonking the ball near the corner flags and waiting for them to pass themselves into their half.
    • 86' Corner to West Ham on the left, sent near post and almost causes some problems but Hull get it clear and pump it long.
    • 84' Free-kick to Hull on the left which Dawson will take, he sends it far post to Turner but Faubert gets a head on it, corner. Oh no, the ref has called it a foul by Turner.
    • 82' HULL SUB: Cousin off for Garcia; WEST HAM SUB: Sears on for Etherington.

    • 67' A West Ham counter is started by Parker who frees Cole on the left, he holds off one challenge, then another, brilliant from Cole who's in the box now and he lofts a delicate ball TO ETHERINGTON WITH A FAR-POST VOLLEY BUT SIDE NETTING! Half the ground thought that was in!
    • 65' Yet again good build-up play from West Ham but yet again the final product is poor. This time Cole gets into space on the left and cuts it back to Parker who sends the shot curling the wrong way.

    • 45' West Ham have a throw on the left, Ilunga takes it short to Etherington who swings a cross over and COLE NODS IT DOWN TO BELLAMY WHO IS UNMARKED AND MUST SCORE BUT HE THRASHES IT OVER! Wild, wild finish from Bellamy, somehow he failed to score there.
    • 43' West Ham are essentially camped in the Hull half but the final ball does not match the pretty build-up play.
    • 41' West Ham keep the ball for what seems like around 30 passes before Giovanni tackling back slides in on Faubert, whose first touch was rotten.
    • 40' Giovanni runs in from the left and goes wide to Marney, he slides it to the edge of the box and Ashbee has it but he can't get the shot away and in trying to set himself up is tackled and West Ham clear.
    • 38' Ilunga goes into the back of Marney and that was a bad tackle, he's already been booked and could be off here! The ref just has a word though and it's a warning. He's walking a tightrope today.
    • 37' West Ham must have had over 60% of the possession, indeed our stats say a whopping 68%, they're playing it around very nicely and Noble is almost sent clean through but Bellamy's clever chipped ball just eludes him.
