    • 90+4' Wayne Rooney nearly has a Roy of the Rovers momen, coming onto the ball 25 yards out, but he drags his shot wide.
    • 90+3' United win a corner and Van der Sar comes up! But it's a poor delivery from Nani.
    • 90' He's off! Second yellow card for Nemanja Vidic, who clatters carelessly into Xabi Alonso. That caps off a terrible afternoon for United.
    • 87' Final change from Benitez, bringing Sami Hyypia on for Javier Mascherano. They look very comfortable.
    • 85' Liverpool were about to bring off Robbie Keane, but Mascherano has gone down with cramp and it looks like he will come off instead.

    • 24' This game is nicely poised. Liverpool are probably marginally on top at the moment but United, of course, have that precious lead.
