    • 54' Manchester United's Wayne Rooney jumps clear of a tackle from Arsenal's Bacary Sagna. Match Image
    • 53' Carrick puts a cross from the left out for a corner. But it is United who counter only for Fabianski to come off his line to claim the greasy ball.

    • 47' Early yellow card for Fabregas as the away skipper catches Patrice Evra.
    • 46' No changes to either side as the second-half gets underway.
    • 45+3' Ronaldo's free-kick is past the wall but well past the post and we go into the interval all-square. United have been a little understated in the opening period but remember they only need a point.

    • 45+1' Song calmly chests Giggs's cross to Toure who clears.
    • 45' Vidic nods away for a corner which Arshavin pulls back to Nasri 18 yards out. His shot was going wide and Van Persie cannott divert it on target. A real chance for the Frenchman who scored twice in the Premier League match at the Emirates between these sides earlier in the season.
    • 44' Sagna wins a free-kick after a tug of the shirt from Rooney. Van Persie will look to put one into the mixer from the right flank.
    • 43' United are on a seven-match winning streak in the league and two wins to complete the season will see them finish the season with 92 points, which will be a club record in the Premier League, before they bid to retain the Champions League against Barcelona.
    • 42' United break through Rooney down the left. He squares to Giggs and the ball sits up nicely for the Welsh veteran but he smashes his shot high and wide.

    • 35' Van Persie's free-kick strikes the wall and the follow-up shot from Fabregas is wayward.
    • 34' Toure has his heels clipped by Tevez just before he is about to unleash a 35-yard shot and Arsenal are awarded a free-kick.
    • 33' Van Persie is booked for a foul on Ronaldo. A harsh yellow card.
    • 32' Bolt poses for photographers in the stands before kick-off. Match Image
    • 31' Some neat link-up play ends in a shot from Nasri which is deflected and loops into Van der Sar's hands.
    • 30' Rooney's shot is blocked by Toure.
    • 29' A cross from the left looks destined for Tevez but the Argentine cannot reach it with his head.
    • 28' It is not an uncommon occurrence for Arsenal to win at Old Trafford. Indeed they have emerged victorious on three of their last 12 visits, and drawn on two more occasions. But head to Old Trafford on the back of a 4-1 aggregate drubbing against United in the Champions League.
    • 27' Crossing chance for Sagna but his delivery is wayward and runs out for a goal kick.
    • 26' Evans turns away Van Persie's cross from the left and then does enough to prevent a follow-up shot from Denilson.
    • 25' Arshavin's shot is blocked by Vidic and trickles through to Edwin Van der Sar.
    • 24' Giggs takes the free-kick but his effort is over the crossbar.
    • 23' This time Ronaldo tumbles under a tame challenge from Song and United have a free-kick on the left edge, a yard outside the penalty area.
    • 22' Denilson cuts out a Darren Fletcher cross in his own box and then Alex Song goes down in instalments in his own penalty area under a tame challenge from the Scot.
    • 21' Van Persie goes down under a challenge from Vidic but referee Mike Dean waves away the penalty appeals.
    • 20' United giving the wall away too easily at the moment.
    • 19' Should United avoid defeat it will mean the title was decided at Old Trafford for only the second time in Ferguson's glittering reign. Only in 1999, when they beat Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, have Ferguson's United been confirmed as champions on their home turf.
    • 18' Ronaldo's cross is claimed by Fabianski.
    • 17' Michael Carrick picks out Rooney who gets ahead of Bacary Sagna but he diverts his header past the near post.
    • 16' Driving run from Arshavin into the penalty area and it requires Jonmy Evans coming around on the cover to stop the run and concede a corner.
    • 15' REAL CHANCE! Super diagonal pass from Fabregas finds Van Persie unmarked eight yards out but he puts his header over the top. Nemanja Vidic is asking John O'Shea why he was so slow on the cover.
    • 14' Rooney switches the play with an exquisite pass to Ronaldo. Seven or eight step overs from Ronaldo but Toure stands firm and blocks the attempted shot. Shouts for handball but nothing doing.
    • 13' Lukasz Fabianski is off his line to claim the corner confidently.
    • 12' United counter and Ronaldo's cross reaches Rooney whose effort from 18 yards flicks off Toure and goes over the top for a corner.
    • 11' Arsenal have a decent share of possession at the moment and Kieran Gibbs' cross from the left is cut out.
    • 10' For Arsenal, who have now gone four years without any silverware, the day is likely to trigger bittersweet memories of 2002, when Sylvain Wiltord's goal clinched 1-0 win and the title at Old Trafford.
    • 9' Robin van Persie and Abou Diaby combine with Nasri to create an opening but the French midfielder is penalised for a handball just before he is about to pull the trigger.
    • 8' Ronaldo was limping and looking rueful – but all of a sudden is up and running as the ball is spread to the left.
    • 7' Carlos Tevez is caught offside twice in quick succession.
    • 6' Abou Diaby's left-foot shot is blocked by Michael Carrick.
    • 5' Rio Ferdinand (calf) is ruled out and is joined in the stands by 100 and 200 metres Olympic champion Usain Bolt, a United fan who is in the city for a 150m sprint race on Sunday.
    • 4' Wayne Rooney works an opening down the left flank but his cross is nodded away by Kolo Toure.
    • 3' Cesc Fabregas has a sighter at goal but shot is well over the crossbar.
    • 2' And straight from the kick-off, Cristiano Ronaldo is clear down the right flank but he opts not to shoot and an early chance is lost.
    • 1' We are underway at Old Trafford.
    • - The players come out with Old Trafford eagerly expecting a 'Coronation Day.'
    • - Get the views of the United manager. Video: Ferguson press conference
    • - "Arsenal will want to do well because they've had a bit of criticism recently. They will want to register their abilities on a day when everyone expects United to win the title. They are a threat. It's strange that we've won it four times on the last day of the season elsewhere. I've never cared where we win it but on a day like this, when you have the opportunity, it'd be nice," said Ferguson.
    • - Arsenal will look to bounce back from last weekend's 4-1 humiliation at the hands of Chelsea and Russian playmaker Andrey Arshavin returns from a flu virus. They are without injured first-choice goalkeeper Manuel Almunia and Emmanuel Adebayor.
    • - Ferguson has shuffled the pack, making three changes to the side that came from behind to beat Wigan on Wednesday. Carlos Tevez was handed a starting berth but £30.75million record signing Dimitar Berbatov was only on the bench. Darren Fletcher and Ryan Giggs replace Anderson and Paul Scholes.
    • - One point will mean a third consecutive Premier League title, the 11th of Sir Alex Ferguson's reign and it will mean that United have finally matched Liverpool's record haul of 18 English titles.
    • - Manchester United need just a point against an Arsenal side with nothing to play for in Saturday's lunchtime encounter to secure yet another Premier League title.

  16. Unfortunately in football, its not the better team that always win. Sometimes, the better side looses. This is the case in the premiership this year.

WATCH OUT FOR ARSENAL AND CHELSEA NEXT SEASON. ITS GOING TO BE THEIR SEASON. CHELSEA IS RIGHT NOW IN A KILLER MOOD WHICH WILL BE TRANSFERED TO NEXT SEASON. ARSENAL IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD.
