    Time:90'
    • Manchester City
    • Tottenham Hotspur
    • 90' It is all over as Tottenham manage to hold onto their lead move of the bottom of the table. Harry Redknapp remains undefeated during his four game reign at White Hart Lane and memories of the winless opening eight games are fading fast around North London.
    • 90 Bent has a chance for a hat trick as he finds himself free inside the box but he sends his shot tamely over the bar.
    • 87' Assou-Ekoto sees red for a second yellow after a lunge on Zabaleta. this evens things up but is it to late for City?
    • 83' Surely nine men city can't salvage something from this game now.
    • 82' Dunne gifts the ball to Bent and as the two scramble for the ball the City captain clumsily hacks down the striker. It is a straight red for the talismanic Dunne and his side's chances of taking something from the game have surely been ended. Mark Hughes is furious on the sideline as Bentley sends his free kick harmlessly into the arms of Hart.
    • 80' Corluka sends a shot from distance just wide of the post, that was a decent effort.
    • 78' Ireland and Robinho are playing like men possessed and despite trailing by a goal and being a man down the hosts are now playing by far the better football.
    • 76' Gomes is on hand again to protect his sides lead this time saving a savage volley from Stephen Ireland who was first to react to Benjani's flick on. Great save from the controversial keeper.
    • 73' Robinho almost draws the teams level after a quickly taken free kick. The playmaker received a pass when unmarked and his curling 25 yard effort was well clawed round the post by Gomes.
    • 71' Bent searching for his hat-trick almost bursts onto a through ball but the pass is agonisingly just yards out of his reach.
    • 70' Modric makes way for Aaron Lennon and moments later Benjani spurns a half chance for an equaliser as he heads Garrido's cross well wide.
    • 66' Tom Huddlestone tries to make it three but his shot through a mass of bodies from around thirty yards out is well dealt with by Hart.
    • 64' Bent scores his second of the game! Jenas controls a long cross from deep on the left wing and expertly knocks it to the striker. Bent moves it wide and coolly fires into the bottom left of Hart's net. That was a well worked goal just as it looked as though Spurs were failing to make their man advantage count.
    • 61' Corluka sends in a free kick and Dunne rises highest to meet it and tests the opposition keeper with a powerful header. Woodgate is on hand to hook away the subsequent loose ball.
    • 59' Wright-Phillips, with only Gomes in his way, has an effort from just inside the box which flies tamely into the Brazilians chest. He should have done better from there.
    • 54' Wright-Phillips puts a dangerous cross into the box and Corluka is forced to clear for a corner. Despite being a man down City are looking stronger in the second half.
    • 51' The referee confirms that Assou-Ekoto and not Zokora received a yellow card for that tackle on Wright-Phillips.
    • 49' Modric brakes down the right wing and fires in a cross for the inrushing Bent. Unfortunately for Spurs it is straight into the arms of Hart and another good chance to take the lead goes begging.
    • 47' Assou-Ekoto has to be on his best behaviour now as he picked up a yellow for that challenge.
    • 48' Wright-Phillips wins a free kick after being man handled to the ground by Didier Zokora around 40 yards out. The free kick from a dangerous position was wasted as it flew safetly into Gomes's hands. City need to make the most of these opportunities.
    • 46' Spurs get the second half underway and will surely be looking for a maximum return from this game against a ten man Manchester City.
    • 45' The whistle blows for half time and manager Mark Hughes is certain to be enraged with Fernandes as his side looked odds on to get something from this game. It is a very different story now as the visitors look in the ascendancy and are pushing for that second goal that will give them the leads.
    • 44' The hosts really are struggling now and Mark Hughes will be happy to see his side enter the changing rooms level at half time.
    • 43' Bentley beats two defenders and finds himself free in the box with only hart in his way but he sends his shot high and wide.
    • 40' Spurs are piling on the pressure as they look to snatch the lead. Hart struggled to clear a number of crosses and Bent got onto one at the back post but his shot was weak. He really should have done better.
    • 34' More woe for man City fans as Robinho looks to be limping after a collision with Assou-Ekoto.
    • 30' Bent finds the equaliser with a fine individual effort from outside the box that squirms under Joe Hart. That is just the response that Redknapp's side needed just minutes after finding themselves a man to the good. Bent outfoxed Dunne and Richards with some fine footwork before firing home.
    • 26' Gelson Fernandes sees red for a second bookable offence after clumsy challenge on Bentley he can have no argument for that. City now face a hard task to stop themselves falling to three successive Premier League defeats.
    • 24' Gomes is called into action again but this time his parry from Irelands drive is hooked clear by Ledley King.
    • 22' Spurs look to hit back with a number of free kicks and corners but any threat is well marshalled by City's centre back pairing of Richards and Dunne
    • 16' That is the British transfer record signing's sixth goal in as many games.
    • 16' Robinho scores! Wright Phillips slides the ball out to Vassell on the edge of the box and Gomes can only palm the ball into the path of the onrushing Brazilian. The former Real Madrid player makes no mistake and smashes emphatically home from point blank range.
    • 10' City break up the field on the counter attack and Vassell is almost put through by Robinho by Gomes is bravely down at his feet to smother out the danger.
    • 10' Modric sends a fantastic curling shot from around 20 yards just wide of Joe Hart's post. That was the best chance of the game and the Croatian was unlucky not to put his side in the lead.
    • 7' It is end to end stuff at the minute but neither side have been able to create a genuine opening so far. Spurs came closest but Woodgate blasted a shot, from a half chance, high and wide.
    • 3' Garrido picks up an injury after colliding with Bentley in the centre circle, but it doesn't appear too be anything to serious.
    • 1' Man City kick off and immediately go on a break with Wright-Phillips charging down the right wing and winning a throw in a dangerous position. It comes to nothing and Spurs clear the danger.
    • 0' And Tottenham Hotspur: Gomes, Corluka, Woodgate, King, Assou-Ekotto, Bentley, Huddlestone, Zakora, Jenas, Modric, Bent. Subs: Cesar, Hutton, Lennon, Pavlyuchenko, Campbell, Dawson, O'Hara
