    • 90+5' After an inexplicably long period of stoppage time, the final whistle goes and an entertaining 1-1 draw comes to an end.
    • 90' Digard comes off for Mohamed Shawky, just as Boro defend a free-kick. It's floated in to BENDTNER... The header is glanced wide.
    • 88' This is a great open passage of play now, as Arsenal begin to turn the screw but Boro look capable of breaking with the pace of Aliadiere. The home fans are a little worried...
    • 86' This time the corner comes to SAGNA.. The header is blocked by Huth!
    • 85' Some great play by Song in midfield seems to crank up the tempo slightly as we enter to final five minutes, and the Gunners win a corner. Played short for Fabregas, and the cross is blocked for another corner.
    • 83' Bendtner's boots this week are a kind of dayglo lime green, by the way.
    • 82' Arsene Wenger signals his intetnions by bringing on Bendtner for Diaby, who was looking as though he could have picked up a second booking if he wasn't careful.

    • 65' This may be Arsenal's best spell of the game, with efforts from Fabregas and Adebayor blocked before Turnbull is forced to make a save low to his left.
    • 63' Van Persie is on the shoulder of the last man and Diaby plays a lovely reverse pass right into his path. Van Persie goes for the shot across Turnbull, but he scuffs it and the ball rolls wide.
    • 60' Boro send a ball down the left wing and Downing is on to it! He has Sagna beaten for pace and shapes up for the VOLLEY... Brilliant save at the near post by Almunia! Downing connected so well with that effort.
    • 56' After saying that, Downing chips a lovely ball forward for Aliadiere to chase, but the Frenchman's first touch lets him down and the ball runs away from him.
    • 55' Great tackle from Didier Digard on the halfway line - he's had an impressive game. Downing picks up to ball near the touchline and goes forward, but runs himself into a cul-de-sac. The sometime Boro talisman has had an anonymous match thus far.
    • 53' Turnbull has to charge 25 yards off his line to clear a ball after the two centre-backs almost conspire to let Adebayor sneak through! The Boro goalie is a lot quicker than he looks!
    • 51' Aliadiere is down receiving some treatment on his foot, but he's back up on his feet now. This half is yet to really get going.
    • 47' Diaby must have got himself a bit too fired up at half-time, as he charges into Chris Riggott and picks up the game's first booking.
    • 46' No changes for either side at half-time, as Arsenal get us underway.

    • 45' Neither side are able to build anything in the final third as half-time approaches. Tuncay feeds Johnson who turns, but his effort rolls wide of the goal.
    • 41' Sagna's cross is swiped behind by Huth at the near post.. That could have gone anywhere! Van Persie's first delivery is cleared by Tuncay, and the second is punched away by Turnbull. Fabregas shoots from distance... Way over the bar.
    • 39' Arsenal can break, though, and Adebayor crosses for VAN PERSIE... The Dutchman completely misses it from the edge of the six-yard box! To be fair, the pass came in at some pace, but he should have got a touch on it.
    • 38' Wonderful play from Boro, especially from Tuncay, as they build an Arsenal style attack which sadly comes to no fruition.
    • 35' Johnson bursts into the Arsenal area and is tripped up by Clichy... NO PENALTY!! Johnson has been giving Clichy a tough time all game, and he should have been rewarded with a spot-kick there.
    • 31' McMahon slides in with a great challenge on Diaby down by the Boro corner flag... The referee gives a foul! This could be dangerous... Fabregas curls in a cross but Turnbull catches it.
    • 29' GOAL!! Clichy's clearance is charged down and Tuncay fires a cross in and ALIADIERE SENDS A BULLET HEADER PAST ALMUNIA!! Great goal from Boro, their persistence was rewarded. Clichy culpable, not for the first time this season.
    • 28' Fabregas takes the set piece. Downing's header bounces off Digard and the ball sits up for DIABY... The shot is fired straight at Turnbull!
    • 27' For the first time in this game Arsenal are confidently playing keep-ball, and play culminates in McMahon heading behind for another corner.
    • 25' Tuncay picks the ball up and drives towards goal. He's shunted away from goal but he SHOOTS LEFT-FOOTED ON THE TURN... It's an easy one for Almunia to get down and hold.
    • 23' Aliadiere turns on the edge of the area and SHOOTS... The shot is high and wide of Almunia's goal. Aliadiere would be delighted to open his account for the season against his old club.

    • 17' Robert Huth was drawn away from Adebayor for the goal by Diaby, and that gave the Togo striker the space to nod home the opener with Arsenal's first corner of the game.
