    • 13' Tuncay flicks the ball on for Alves, who is adjudged to have tugged back the defender.. he is a touch unlucky there and he lets the referee know about it.

    • 4' Good defensive clearance from Fabrizio Coloccini, who is starting to settle after a horrific start to life in the Premier League.
    • 3' Obafemi Martins crosses from the right into the Boro box, but the only target is the rather diminutive figure of Michael Owen and the ball is cleared.
