    Time:90'
    • Portsmouth
    • Blackburn Rovers
    • 90 The whistle blows and the hosts take three points but on another day it could have been very different. Both sides showed defensive frailties in the second half and Portsmouth manager Tony Adams will not be happy his side threw away a two goal lead before sealing the win with around 15 minutes remaining.
    • 89' Pompey have the ball in the corner and it looks as though that is where they want to keep it.
    • 85' Portsmouth are failing to get rid of danger and it is all very tense here at Fratton Park.
    • 83' Villanueva replaces Pedersen
    • 77' This really has turned into a fantastic game of football albeit not one for fans of a tight defensive game.
    • 76' Portsmouth re-take the lead through substitute Sean Davis who clips the ball over the on rushing Paul Robinson and into the Blackburn goal. Robinson did well to block a Diop effort in the build up but he was powerless to thwart Davis who was played in by Kanu.
    • 74' Sean Davis replaces Traore.
    • 71' Derbyshire has the ball in the back of the net but his effort is ruled out for an earlier foul on David James. The home side really have looked shaky since taking a two goal lead early in the second half.
    • 70' Bouba Diop squanders an excellent chance at the back post as he somehow seems to make himself smaller with a jump and miss a close range header.
    • 72' The second half is certainly more entertaining than the first. At least the Portsmouth fans have seen plenty of goals in the last week!
    • 67' Tugay levels the scores with a shot from distance. The veteran Turkish player is allowed too much space and his low shot into the bottom right from fully 25 yards of the net leaves David James no chance. Tony Adams's side are falling apart here.
    • 63' Derbyshire had been on the field for less than a minute before reducing arears
    • 62' Gamst Pedersen puts a cross in for substitute Matt Derbyshire to head coolly over the despairing David James. He has pulled a goal back for Blackburn with one of his first touches!
    • 59' Warnock catches a Peter Crouch elbow in the face but is soon up and around. The game is being played a tough but sporting atmosphere and that certainly looked like a mistake.
    • 55' What a start to the second half by the home sides! Paul Ince's charges are really up against it now. Can they emulate the same feat as European legends AC Milan to get a draw against Portsmouth after trailing by two?
    • 53' And not to be out done by his striker partner Defoe adds a second for the hosts. He left his marker Chris Samba dumb founder with a swivel of the hips and coolly fired low across the net and into the bottom right corner after latching onto Kranjcar's pass. Great individual effort from the former Spurs man!
    • 48' Peter Crouch has the ball in the back of the net. He makes no mistake with this headed effort from the back post as he rises higher than Samba to head home Glen Johnson's inch perfect cross. Great finish!
    • 46' Kranjcar comes on as a second half substitute for Glen Little.
    • 46' The second half is underway here at Fratton Park.
    • 44' The last action of the half comes in the form of a Blackburn corner that is confidently claimed by England number one in the Portsmouth goal David James. It isn't the most exciting Premier League encounter the punters on the south coast have ever witnessed. Perhaps the hosts are jaded after Thursday night's heroics against AC Milan in the UEFA Cup.
    • 42' Ooijer picks up a yellow card for a cynical tackle on Traore on the half way line. Perhaps that was a bit of revenge after by Ooijer on the youngster who beat him so easily to tee up crouch just moments earlier.
    • 40' Crouch misses an excellent opportunity! Armand Traore makes a fantastic run down the left wing and his pin point cross is headed over the bar by Crouch who is just a few yards out with the goal at his mercy. It should have been 1-0 Pompey.
    • 39' Crouch and Defoe almost link up but the big England strikers pass is behind his team mate. That would have been a great opportunity for the in-form former Tottenham man.
    • 34' Blackburn veteran Tugay lets Gamst Pedersen know he isn't pleased after the winger puts in a terrible pass when he had several options.
    • 33' Emerton puts a dangerous corner into the box and a crowded David James is forced to punch clear. The ball falls to Gamst Pedersen but he fails to make the most of a good opportunity, or even have an effort, after a poor first touch lets him down.
    • 27' Great through ball from Emerton for Benni McCarthy which puts the striker through on goal. His first touch however is poor and allows Belhadj time to track back and make a blocking tackle on the shot.
    • 23' Johnson cuts out a Gamst Pedersen through ball that would have seen Roque Santa Cruz clean through on goal. What a vital interception that might prove to be.
    • 21' The game is starting to open up now with both sides firing in cross for their big forward players.
    • 20' Warnock delivers a great cross from deep on the left wing and Belhadj is forced to concede the corner. Santa Cruz rises highest to meet Morten Gamst Pedersen's delivery but his effort sails over the bar.
    • 18' Bouba Diop wins another free kick in the middle under the weight of a Santa Cruz challenge. The game is lacking any real fluidity at the moment.
    • 16' Johnson delivers a free kick from the left wing but Peter Crouch's headed effort from 12 yards is tame.
    • 12' Roque Santa Cruz puts a clever ball into the box but there is no-one following in to take advantage and Glen Johnson gets rid of the danger.
    • 6' Peter Crouch lucky not to score an own-goal as he glances a near-post clearance from a corner on to the back post!!
    • 3' Paul Robinson makes a save from Glen Little after the winger ghosted into the box...
    • 1' The first half begins at Fratton Park!!
    • - Blackburn have left-back Martin Olsson out through suspension following his red card against Tottenham, but Steven Warnock has returned from his own ban to fill in. Midfielder Vince Grella has not recovered from a calf injury in time to feature.
    • - Jermain Defoe returns to partner Peter Crouch in attack after missing the UEFA Cup match against Milan with a calf injury. Croatian playmaker Niko Kranjcar is on the bench after recovering from an ankle problem.
