    • 90+3' The final whistle goes and Liverpool's title challenge lives on! That's four home defeats on the bounce for Portsmouth - Tony Adams surely isn't long for the boot - but the night belongs to Fernando Torres, Liverpool's hero once again.
    • 90+2' GOAL!!! Would you believe it - Liverpool have won it!! Mascherano plays Benayoun to the byline and the Israeli chips a ball to the near post for FERNANDO TORRES TO HEAD HOME!! Liverpool - and Rafa - escape by the skin of their teeth!
    • 88' Hreidarsson appeals for a corner, doesn't get it, and so slaps his hands on the ground in frustration. If that wasn't bad enough, this is all right in front of the referee, and after a couple of choice words from the Icelnader Howard Webb whips out a yellow card.
