    • 90+2 It's all over! Pompey grab a deserved point. There was no point in turning up until the 75th minute but an entertaining finish.
    • 90+2 Pompey almost work a real chance thanks to another run down the right by Johnson, but the shot from the edge of the box from Crouch is blocked.
    • 90' Johnson on the right swings a diagonal ball to Hreidarsson, who is playing up front now and takes it down before sending a low drive across goal AND IT TAKES A HUGE DEFLECTION OFF SHAWCROSS TO WRONG-FOOT SORENSEN AND EQUALISE! Sometimes justice rears its head in football, and that is an example of it.
    • 87' Stoke get the corner clear and it's back with James...
    • 86' Pompey piling it on now as Hreidarsson gets in space in the box but is denied by a last-ditch tackle from Wilkinson! Corner!
    • 83' Pompey are finally playing with some urgency, a little too much as they try to rush it into the back of the net, messing up the final balls as a result.
    • 81' Wilkinson on a rare forward run down the right, he digs out a very smart cross and Pugh is there with a volley into the ground that's going wide and Beattie is on the line to nod it in, surely that's offside but the flag stays down! 2-1 to Stoke, they have turned it around with the help of the ref there because surely Beats was beyond the last man - he was practically on the goal-line!

    • 78' Beattie steps up to take it... and he hammers it into the top left for 1-1! Suddenly this game wakes up, two goals in two minutes.
    • 77' Long ball by Stoke and Campbell mis-judges the header and Johnson has to deal with it and did that strike his arm? Yes says the ref! Looked harsh but it's a penalty!!!
    • 76' Crouch flicks on a long ball to Kranjcar, who runs at the defenders, Faye slides in but it breaks to Nugent who slips a through ball in for Kranjcar AND KRANJCAR IS CLEAN THROUGH AND HE SLIDES IT UNDER SORENSEN FOR 1-0! Finally, something happens.
    • 73' Tonge gets in down the left and drags a ball across goal but no-one can get on to it even though it's moving in slow motion! Not even a Pompetydefender could muster up the energy to lunge for that daisy-cutter across the six-yard box. Sums it up really.
    • 69' Corner to Stoke on the left, James can only get a half punch on it and it drops to Higginbotham on the edge of the box but his attempted half-volley spins well over.
    • 68' STOKE SUB: Tonge on for Lawrence.
    • 66' The hosts fail to properly clear the corner and it's back on the right with Pennant who is in lots of space and sends a deep, hanging cross to Crouch at the far post but he can only head over! He was under a lot of pressure but should have put it back across goal.

    • 27' Stoke are exerting a bit more pressure now, lots of ball coming in from wide as another cross from Pugh is headed clear by Campbell.

    • 20' What Stoke have in endeavour they really lack in quality. Pompey are all over the place at the back and give the Potters several chances to shoot on goal but Sidibe and Beattie make the kind of contact with the ball that warrants an extra hour on the training ground for basic technique practice. Poor.
    • 18' The ball drops for Lawrence around 40 yards out and he spots James off his line, tries an audacious lob but it lands on the roof of the net! James got back in time and had it covered anyway.
    • 13' Johnson again gets in down the right but this time the delivery is poor, much to Paul Hart's chagrin.
    • 9' Pompey with a rare forway forward, Johnson comes down the right and finds Pennant who crosses to the edge of the box but Kranjcar's shot is well wide.
    • 5' Davis is down injured after getting an accidental hand in the face from Beattie. They both challenged for the ball and as Beattie raced away his fingers whacked Davis, who was falling to the ground.
    • 3' Bright start for the hosts, Pugh down the left slips it inside for Beattie, he bustles into the box but can't get a shot away, all a bit scrappy as it breaks to Sidibe who cuts inside past Campbell and has a clean shot on goal but a great tackle by Basinas to slide in and save the day for Pompey!
