    • - Thanks for joining me today. A great result for West Ham which puts Zola's side into 7th place - that should be good enough for a place in Europe.
    • 90+6' That's it! West Ham win at the Britannia Stadium thanks to a brilliant free-kick from Diego Tristan!
    • 90+5' But West Ham get to the long throw first and Kovac is fouled as he goes to clear. Surely that's the last chance gone.
    • 90+4' Stoke win a throw wide on the right opposite the West Ham box. It looks like Sonko will take it again...
    • 90+3' Fuller almost makes Tristan pay for that miss as he shoots two yards over the bar after a long ball had fallen for him in the West Ham box!
    • 90+2' West Ham break - Tristan is clear in on goal. He chips the ball over the on-rushing Sorensen...but the ball falls just wide! What a chance for the Spaniard to finish the game off!
    • 90+1' Lawrence crosses from the right for Shawcross, who heads over. He was offside anyway.
    • 90' Wow - we've got FIVE minutes of injury time to come.
    • 90' Now Sonko takes a long throw. But Peter Walton gives West Ham a free-kick for a push.
    • 89' And West Ham waste a bit more time with another change...Sears replaces Di Michele for the Hammers.
    • 88' Another change each...Lopez on for Noble in the West Ham side, while Sonko comes on for Wilkinson in the Stoke XI.
    • 87' For once Stoke take a short throw. Faye lifts the ball into the area towards Olofinjana, but the sub fails to get a decent effort on target when well placed.
    • 86' This time Upson heads the corner away for a throw near the corner flag.
    • 85' Kovac heads it behind for another corner.
    • 84' Lawrence wins a corner for Stoke on the right.
    • 82' West Ham make a change. Collison, returning from injury, is on for Boa Morte.
    • 80' West Ham wanted a free-kick for a push on Kovac in the build-up to that Fuller chance. Neill is booked for protesting a little too much.
    • 79' The ball bobbles through to Fuller in the West Ham area. The striker pokes the ball at goal but Green smothers the ball, and a defender hacks clear.
    • 77' But again West Ham stand firm...
    • 76' West Ham are dealing with a barrage. They scramble the latest corner clear, but then it goes for a throw-in within Delap's range.
    • 74' It was little Mark Noble who headed off the line on the near post. Great header from Faye, too. It goes for another corner, which Green spills behind for yet another corner.
    • 74' Faye heads the corner goalwards - and it's headed off the line!
    • 73' Stoke win a corner on the left.
    • 71' Stoke make a double change. Camara and Olofinjana come on for Pugh and Beattie. Delap moves to right-back, Wilkinson to left-back and Olofinjana takes Delap's place in midfield.
    • 68' West Ham counter attack again but it comes to nothing. They're getting lots of space now though with Stoke committing men forward.
    • 66' Neill makes a great run down the right wing all the way into the Stoke area. He pulls the ball back for Di Michele, who miscontrols. But the ball falls for Stanislas in loads of space - but the youngster blazes over! He should have scored!
    • 64' The throw falls for Lawrence in the box, but the Stoke player puts the ball into touch for a goalkick. That was a half-chance.
    • 63' Great defending from Neill to clear the ball for a corner as Etherington raced on to the ball on the edge of the West Ham area. It does mean another throw for Delap in a dangerous area though.
    • 62' Apparently Dyer missed this game with a thigh strain by the way. That news has just come out of the West Ham camp. More injury problems for the former Newcastle and Ipswich man then.
    • 61' Green misses Delap's long throw completely and the ball strikes Stanislas on the arm - but the ref says no penalty!
    • 60' The free-kick's lifted into the West Ham box, but it's cleared for a throw on the left wing. It's Delap time again...
    • 59' Fuller is caught by Kovac 10 yards into the West Ham half. It's a Stoke free-kick, but Fuller needs treatment first.
    • 57' Fuller has a speculative shot from the edge of the Hammers box on the turn - but he fires the ball well wide.
    • 55' The game's got a little bit ragged over the last couple of minutes.
    • 53' Well, at the start I said that neither Stoke nor West Ham had much to play for. But the Hammers can finish 7th of course, which means they'll qualify for Europe. And as things stand this result will put them 7th at the end of play today.
    • 52' Delap shoots from 20 yards out - but he falls over as he does so and the ball skews miles over. Perhaps he should stick to the throw-ins.
    • 51' Stoke bang it forward to the edge of the West Ham box but Tomkins heads clear - the young defender has dealt well with those high balls so far.
    • 50' Stoke are awarded a free-kick just inside the visitors' half on the right.
    • 49' But it's straightforward for Green as he comes off his line to catch Delap's throw into the box on the full.
    • 48' Ilunga is forced to put the ball into touch, giving Delap another long-throw chance. The sun is shining in Rob Green's eyes this half, so it could be difficult for the keeper to see the ball as it comes in.
    • 47' West Ham had 63 per cent of possession in the first half apparently. Impressive stuff from Zola's men at a stadium which has been a fortress for Stoke this season.
    • 46' West Ham kick-off - and decide to shoot straight from the kick-off. It bobbles all the way back to Sorensen. Odd from the Hammers there.
    • - The teams are out for the second-half.
    • 45' It's all getting a bit testy as Peter Walton brings the first-half to an end. Join me in 15 minutes for the second-half.
    • 45' Liam Lawrence takes a tumble in the box on the right. But Peter Walton books the Stoke man for diving!
    • 45' Beattie lines up the free-kick - but it's charged down and West Ham break. They go all the way up the other end of the pitch with Boa Morte powering forward - but the West Ham man in forced away from the goal and the attack fizzles out.
    • 44' It's a yellow card for Delap and Boa Morte - the West Ham man for the original late tackle and Delap for kicking out at Boa Morte afterwards. And after all that it's a free-kick to Stoke on the edge of the area. It's a similar chance to the one Tristan scored from.
    • 44' Ooh it's all kicked off after a late tackle by Boa Morte on Delap. There's a melee around the ref...
    • 42' West Ham launch a break. The ball comes to Boa Morte on the right. He cuts on to his favoured left foot and shoots from 25 yards out - but it goes well wide of Sorensen's near post.
    • 41' Kovac plays the ball over the top of the Stoke back four for Di Michele - but the Italian striker is flagged offside.
    • 40' That was great keeping from Green. He picked up a knock in the process but is OK to continue.
    • 39' Stoke counter. Etherington slips the ball through to Fuller, who turns beautifully in the box. He's almost in on goal, but Green leaps off his line to steal the ball from Fuller's feet.
    • 38' West Ham have a sustained period of possession on the edge of the Stoke box but can't get a shot on target, and eventually Stoke clear.
    • 37' Lawrence finds himself in space on the right wing - but his low cross is cut out by Kovac and passed clear.
    • 36' But West Ham deal with that well too and clear their lines.
    • 35' Delap's long throw is put out for another throw in pretty much the same spot.
    • 34' Stoke win a throw deep in West Ham's half on the right wing. Up trots Delap...
    • 33' Stanislas tees up Di Michele just inside the area - and the Italian shoots narrowly over! That was almost two!
    • 32' GOAL! Tristan dinks the ball into the top right-hand corner of Sorensen's net! Great goal!
    • 31' Di Michele is fouled by Faye in the D on the edge of the Stoke box. A great chance to shoot here.
    • 30' There's a clash of styles today between Stoke's physical approach and West Ham's passing game. That sounds like a bit of a cliche, but that's basically the way things are going here.
    • 29' Stoke waste the free-kick.
    • 28' But Danny Pugh steals the ball off West Ham as the visitors look to move forward. Then Neill brings down Pugh just inside the Hammers' half.
    • 27' Fuller clips Upson's heels in the centre circle to concede a free-kick.
    • 26' Lawrence picks out Faye from the corner - but the big defender heads over! A really good chance there.
    • 25' Lovely skill by Fuller in the box on the right. He turns his marker and crosses, only for the ball to be put behind for a corner.
    • 24' West Ham keep the ball for a good few phases with some nice passes but Stoke defend well and force the visitors to pass back to Green.
    • 23' Stoke win a throw-in in almost exactly the same position again. Delap aims for the near post again, but Tomkins heads clear.
    • 22' Delap throws it to Shawcross at the near post - but the defender heads high and wide.
    • 21' Etherington crosses from the left and Neill is forced to concede a corner near the corner flag on the left. This is prime Delap territory.
    • 20' Beattie almost gets on to the free-kick - but he can't quite get on to it and West Ham clear.
    • 19' Upson is penalised for a foul 10 yards inside the West Ham half. This is a chance to get the ball in the box for Stoke.
    • 18' Stanislas does well down the left to beat his man and dink in a cross - but it goes over everyone.
    • 17' Tristan shoots from 20 yards out - but it flies high and wide.
    • 16' Di Michele's strike was probably more valid than Fuller's 'goal' - the Stoke man definitely fouled Green. But the handball against Tristan looked harsh.
    • 15' Now West Ham have the ball in the back of the net - and that's been disallowed too! Di Michele thinks he's scored after turning in the box and poking the ball in, but the play's called back for an apparent handball from Tristan in the build-up.
    • 14' Stoke have the ball in the back of the net but it's disallowed! The ball was hurled into the box by Delap, Green dropped it under pressure from Fuller and the striker stuck the ball into an unguarded net. But Fuller was penalised for fouling Green.
    • 13' Beattie makes a powerful run down the middle of the pitch and wins a free-kick just outside the West Ham area. When it's taken it's cleared for a Stoke throw on the right wing. You know what's coming...a Delap long throw.
    • 12' It's a better throw from Delap this time. It's flicked goalwards by a Stoke player - I think it was Shawcross - but it's straight at Rob Green.
    • 11' Another throw in for Stoke in the West Ham half - this time on the right wing.
    • 10' Oh dear - the ball slips out of Delap's hands as he goes to lob it into the Hammers' area. West Ham clear easily.
    • 9' Stoke win a throw wide on the left. Stoke have scored nine goals from Delap throw-ins this season. Here's a chance for another one...
    • 8' Interesting to see that left-footer Boa Morte is playing wide right today.
    • 7' He's OK to carry on though.
    • 6' And Etherington has picked up an injury as he tried to help out his full-back against Boa Morte there. He needs treatment.
    • 5' Boa Morte picks up the ball down the right wing and does well to beat his marker Danny Pugh and force a cross in - but he can only dink it tamely to Sorensen.
    • 4' If Stoke win this, they'll only be three points behind the Hammers in the table. And it's the hosts who have controlled the opening couple of minutes.
    • 3' Lawrence swings in the free-kick, but it drifts straight into Rob Green's hands.
    • 2' Neill hacks down Etherington as the former Hammer attacks down the left. Free-kick in a dangerous position for the hosts.
    • 1' Ref Peter Walton blows on his whistle to get us going. It's a typically lively atmosphere at the Britannia.
    • - West Ham team news: Dyer is missing for an unspecified reason to add to their long injury list which also includes Parker, Gabbidon, Collins, Ashton, Cole, Behrami and probably lots of other players I've forgotten about. Kovac and Noble start in central midfield.
    • - Stoke team news: Wilkinson and Beattie are fit to start after injury concerns. Fuller also starts up front. It was against West Ham earlier in the season that the striker was sent off for slapping his team-mate and captain Andy Griffin. Matty Etherington also starts against his former employers.
    • - Hello there. The sun's out in the Potteries, Stoke and West Ham are both playng for not very much - it must be the end of the season! We're LIVE at the Brittania Stadium for this Premier League clash. The teams are coming out of the tunnel now...

  1. What a great result, so few teams go to stoke and get a result, shows how far we have come since Zola came in, just hope the board give him some funds during the summer to get another couple of players in for cover, if we are to compete in the europa league next season. Well done also to Stoke great to see a team come up and try and play football instead of just hoofing the ball forward or sticking 10 men behind the ball. COME ON U IRONS!!!
