    • - It's all over at the Britannia and Stoke have the three points and leapfrog Wiagn in the Premier League table! Great game this one and it's another home win for The Potters!
    • 90' The fourth official shows us three minutes of added time to go.
    • 90' Mido and Faye continue their heavyweight tussle and this time it's a foul by Faye.
    • 88' Liam Lawrence has a go from around the 20-yard mark, but he can't replicate his stunning strike from last week and that goes wide.
    • 86' N'Zogbia shows his ability by beating several Stoke defenders before being thwarted by a great challenge from Shawcross.
    • 86' Stoke make the final change of the afternoon, as Beattie is replaced by Richard Creswell.
    • 84' Six minutes left here at the Brittania and it looks like yet another three points for Stoke at home as Wigan look cooked.
    • 83' Scharner tries to link up with Mido for Wigan, but the play comes to nothing.
    • 82' Figueroa is off and Edman is on now for Wigan as they have to gamble.
    • 81' Stoke are enjoying this now and their fans are in full voice as Lawrence puts a teasing cross in, which Kingson holds.
    • 80' Mido puts his not inconsiderable size about again and is penalised again, this time for a foul on fellow sub Diao.
    • 78' Those two goals in seven minutes should be enough for Stoke this afternoon, as Wigan's winless run looks set to continue. Delap has the ball once more, but this leads to nothing.
    • 76' Mido is on now for Wigan, replacing Brown and his first action is a foul on Pugh.
    • 76' Etherington after setting up the second goal is going off, to be replaced by Salif Diao.
    • 76' GOAL!!! Beattie has got his goal now! It's a cross from Etherington and Beattie heads it in from six yards!!
    • 72' James Beattie, looking to get one to match strike partner Fuller, tries his luck, but his effort is off target.
    • 71' Ben Watson has Kingosn to thank for making a decent save to stop what would have been a Watson own goal there!
    • 70' That's the end of my predictions for the afternoon. Quit while you're ahead is my motto! Wigan should have cleared the ball - they had plenty of chances to do so, but failed.
    • 69' GOAL!!! I said we were close to a goal and it's come from Fuller! Stoke have the lead here!
    • 65' An Etheringotn corner and a Delap long throw pile on the pressure for Stoke, but it's to no avail.
    • 64' It's end-to-end stuff here at the Britannia at the moment! Both teams really giving it everything in front of a vociferous home crowd. Surely we're close to the opening goal now?
    • 63' Steve Bruce is livid with a decision from Probert and is out of the dugout to complain.
    • 63' Wigan reply with a great chance of their own! This one is from Figueroa, whose shot flies just wide of Sorensen's post!
    • 61' Great effort from Pugh!! The Stoke sub makes an impact with a shot, which is just over!
    • 59' Stoke ramp up the pressure as the game reaches the hour mark with a succession of corners, but the Wigan defence holds firm.
    • 58' Cho ends his debut, as he is replaced by Ben Watson.
    • 58' Quick counter attack from Stoke sees Lawrence find Fuller, but Bramble is there with a perfectly timed challenge to foil the Stoke striker.
    • 55' Credit Wilkinson there for just doing enough to put N'Zogbia off as he went to hit it.
    • 55' N'Zogbia threatens again and fires in a similar effort to the one a few moments ago, but this time it's off target and that'll be a goal kick.
    • 54' Rory Delap continues to pepper the Wigan penalty area with those long bombs from the touchline, but with no end result so far.
    • 52' Charles N'Zogbia has the first effort of the second 45 minutes with a shot from the left edge of the area, but Sorensen is equal to that.
    • 50' It couldn't be more finely balanced at the moment. Either side look capable of breaking the deadlock here, but no real chances so far in this second half.
    • 49' Fuller, who was somewhat starved of service in the first half shows a bit of trickery on the edge of the penalty area, but the move comes to nothing as Etherington's cross is dealt with.
    • 48' Liam Lawrence gets things going for Stoke, but Kingson comes to make the claim from the midfielder's cross easily enough.
    • 47' Pugh is taking up a position on the left of defence for Stoke, with Wilkinson switching to right back and Shawcross is at centre-half.
    • 46' Leon Cort is replaced by Danny Pugh at the start of the second half.
    • 46' We're underway for the second half at the Britannia and let's hope for another 45 minutes of attacking football and perhaps a goal or two!
    • - Lee Probert blows for half time here and despite the fact that it's goalless it's been an entertaining 45 minutes at the Britannia. Back with more soon...
    • 45' Scharner chases willingly after a long ball, but he's not going to get around Faye, who marshalls it out for a goal kick.
    • 43' Another one of those Delap missiles finds it target - the Wigan penalty area, but Beattie is unable to make significant contact.
    • 42' Another corner for Wigan and this one is taken by Rodallega, whose delivery is not what the Latics were looking for.
    • 40' No chance of an end-of-season no-show here! This one is a cracker and Tony Pulis is still barking out the orders on the touchline!
    • 38' Chance for Stoke. Beattie creates an opening for strike partner Fuller, but Fuller is unable to sort his feet out and the chance goes begging.
    • 36' Staright down the other end and Rodallega, who's not shy of having a dig, has another go. Difficult chance on the volley and that won't worry Sorensen.
    • 35' Stoke have the ball in the net....but it won't count. Foul on Cort is the decision there!
    • 35' Stoke have themselves a corner, but the delivery from Lawrence isn't the best and that goes harmlessly out for a goal kick.
    • 34' Not much for the Stoke front pairing of Fuller and Beattie to work with so far. The service to them has been sporadic at best!
    • 32' Delap lobs another one of those long throws into the Wigan area, but Cho deals with that.
    • 31' Rodallega cuts in from the left and hits one with his right foot from around 30 yards, but the striker can't keep his effort down and it flies over.
    • 30' Delap fouls Michael Brown in the middle of the park and that'll be a free kick to Wigan.
    • 28' Wigan still have it though and force a corner, but the delivery is cleared by Shawcross for Stoke.
    • 26' Figueroa involved again as his long ball finds Scharner, but as the ball breaks loose to Melchiot his delivery is poor.
    • 25' Lawrence fouls Figuerora and the free kick is taken by Wigan keeper Kingson, who gets the Latics moving again.
    • 24' Bright opening to this match with chances at either end, but Wigan have had just the better of the early play so far.
    • 23' Rodallega fouls Stoke's long throw specialist Rory Delap and it's a Stoke free kick.
    • 21' Cattermole clatters Faye in the middle of the park and it's a free kick to Stoke.
    • 19' From the resulting corner the ball is cleared by Shawcross, it comes out to Cho again and he hits it once more. Over the bar this time.
    • 18' Great effort from Cho! It's been a decent start from him and he tries his luck from around 30 yards and Sorensen is forced into making the first real save of the match!
    • 15' The ball falls to Whelan, who scuffs his shot. Decent chance for Stoke.
    • 14' The much maligned Bramble fails to improve his rating with the Stoke fans as he skies a speculative effort high and wide from long range!
    • 13' Penalty shout for Wigan! Cho involved again and he slipped the ball to Scharner, who went down in the box under challenge from Faye, but nothing doing.
    • 12' Wigan look for the quick counter and a neat move involving debut-boy Cho ends with an overhit pass which is easy for Sorensen to gather.
    • 11' Stoke on the attack again down the left and Melchiot concedes the throw-in, but the ball is belted clear the Latics back line.
    • 10' Liam Lawrence takes a quick free kick for the home side, but his team mates aren't quite switched on to it and Wigan get the ball clear.
    • 9' Ricardo Fuller goes on the chase for Stoke, but the end result is merely the partial destruction of one of the corner flags as the striker collides with it!
    • 8' The versatile Scharner is playing in a much more advanced role than usual and looks a threat early on.
    • 7' it's a bright start from Wigan, who are looking to end a poor run of form that's ended their slim hopes of European football next season.
    • 5' Scharner threatens again for Wigan but this time he finds himself pulled back by the linesman's flag.
    • 3' Stoke in their typical no-nonsense fashion that has served them so well this season launch an attack and claim a corner, but there's nothing doing from the ref.
    • 2' Paul Scharner gets the first shot of the day in on goal, but his effort is comfortable for Sorensen in the Stoke City goal.
    • 1' Stoke get us underway here at the Britannia, which is rocking for this one!
    • - Both sets of fans have opted to adorn themselves in an assortment of fancy dress outfits for this end of season clash and the sun is out as we await the two teams.
    • - Stoke partner James Beattie and Ricardo Fuller up front as they look to celebrate their Premier League survival in style with another home win.
    • - Team news is in and the visitors hand a debut to Cho Won-Hee in place of Antonio Valencia but are otherwise unchanged from their midweek defeat to Manchester Utd.
    • - Good afternoon and welcome to EUROSPORT's LIVE coverage of this afternoon's Premier League clash between Stoke City and Wigan Athletic.
