    Time:90'
    • Sunderland
    • Chelsea
    • 90+3' The referee blows his whistle as Chelsea mount one final attack. No matter, Sunderland are safe and Nicolas Anelka is the recipient of this season's Golden Boot.
    • 90+2' Petr Cech takes no chances with a Danny Collins striker from an acute angle, though it looked as though the shot was going over the bar.
    • 90' GOAL!! Sunderland give their fans something to cheer about as Andy Reid's whipped cross is headed in by the unmarked Kenwyne Jones.
    • 87' Ricky Sbragia decides to leave Djibril cisse on the bench as he brings on Daryl Murphy in place of Kieran Richardson.
    • 86' GOAL!! Chelsea get a third as Fulop races off his line to block Malouda's shot and Ashley Cole of all people is there the fire home the rebound.
    • 83' Bardsley looks up decides to fire a long-range effort at Cech, who beats away the well-struck shot with two hands.
    • 82' Chelsea win a free-kick deep on the left wing, and for some reason Drogba is taking it. He fires a ball into the area but it only meets a Sunderland head.
    • 78' More changes from both sides here - Sunderland swap David Healy for Steed Malbranque and Chelsea bring on Michael Mancienne for Mikel, who picked up a knock after tackling Malbranque a few minutes ago.
    • 75 GOAL!! Sunderland only half-clear from another corner and Salomon Kalou controls on the edge of the area and rifles a strike into the net!
    • 73' Calum Davenport deflects a Chelsea shot behind for a corner. Nobody in a blue shirt can be bothered to attack Malouda's set piece and Sunderland clear.
    • 72' Once again Cech flaps at a corner, but this time Chelsea get away with it.
    • 71' Bardsley slips a ball down the right channel for Malbranque to shoot, but Terry coems steaming across to block the shot and concede the corner.
    • 69' Jones is receiving treatment on the side of the pitch after a tussle with Ivanovic. Play continues.
    • 66' Salomon Kalou also comes on in place ofEssien for Chelsea.
    • 65' Andy Reid comes on for sunderland to replace another former Spurs man, Teemu Tainio.
    • 62' Anelka's shot from the edge of the box is going wide. Ballack thinks about steering it on target with his back to goal, but then realises he's offside and just skips over the ball.
    • 61' Steed Malbranque has been a thorn in cole's side all afternoon, and again he tackles the full-back with aplomb.
    • 60' The corner ends with Chelsea winning a free-kick inside their own area. However, Calum Davenport is complaining to the referee about something, but nothing doing.
    • 59' Phil Bardsley cuts inside past Ashley Cole and sees his strike deflect off John Terry for a corner.
    • 58' Cheers go up around the ground as Didier Drogba is caught off balance by a pass and ends up on his backside trying to reach it. Puerile, for sure, but highly amusing.
    • 56' Malouda whips in a corner towards the near post. Ballack skillfully steers it on target but Fulop is there to collect comfortably.
    • 53' GOAL!! Petr Cech flaps at Grant Leadbitter's cross and Kieran Richardson is on hand at the far post to rifle a shot home from close range!
    • 50' There's been a goal at Upton Park! find out who got it here.
    • 49' So, that's 19 for the season for Anelka, but more importanly, Sunderland are in a little bit more peril than they were before. Just a little bit, mind.
    • 48' GOAL!! Nicolas Anelka scores an absolute screamer to all but confirm his place as this season's top scorer! The French forward must have decided at the break to go for it, because he picks up the ball in midfield and carries it forward before unleashing an unstoppable strike from 25 yards that flies past Fulop into the top corner!
    • 46' Ballack dinks a ball into the box for Cole to run on to, and the left-back blasts the ball across the face of goal.
    • 46' Sunderland kick off for the second hlaf at the Stadium of Light!
    • 45+2' That was the last kick of the half. As it stands Sunderland are safe.
    • 45+2' Malouda crashes a shot off the bar! The Frenchman's first time strike looked to have the beating of Fulop, but it can only rattle the frame of the goal and bounce away to safety.
    • 45+1 Drogba recieves the ball with his back to goal, turns and SHOOTS... Good save by Fulop! The Hungarian keeper got down low to his left to palm away Drogba's effort.
    • 45' There'll be two minutes of added time at the end of the half.
    • 44' Malouda plays a one-two with Anelka and bursts into the box, but his shot is disappointing and straight at Fulop. That's pretty much the best chance of the half.
    • 43' Chelsea are once more playing keep-ball. At times this match has been nothing more than pre-Cup final training session.
    • 42' Sunderland pile men forward as Leadbitter prepares to float in a free-kick. The ball is plucked out of the air with authority by Cech.
    • 40' Mikel has a shot from absolutely miles out - it's an easy save for Fulop. That's why he's never scored for Chelsea.
    • 39' There's been a goal in the match between Villa and Newcastle! Find out who got it here.
    • 38' Mikel pushes Richardson over on the right wing. The former Manchester United man takes the free-kick himself, but it's overhit and out for a goal kick.
    • 37' There are plenty of goals going in all over the country. It's rather nice to have all 20 teams playing at the same time for a change.
    • 35' Richardson curls in the free-kick and Jones is running on to it, but Terry gets there first.
    • 34' Just before that, Ashley Cole committed a foul that he now gets booked for.
    • 33' Bardsley goes into a crunching tackle with Mikel and comes off worse. He's receiving treatment on the field.
    • 32' Ashley Cole jinks past Bardsley and chips a cross to the far post for Drogba... Ferdinand is there to put him off.
    • 31' Leadbitter takes the corner, but essien rises unchallenged to head clear. Why wasn't Richardson taking that corner? His left boot could have sent in an outswinger from there that would have been harder to defend against.
    • 30' Bosingwa hunts Collins down and makes the tackle, conceding a corner in the process.
    • 28' An early change for Chelsea here: Juliano Belletti has picked up some kind of problem, and is replaced by Michael Ballack. The Brazilian looks annoyed as he walks down the tunnel.
    • 27' Bosingwa tries the old knock it one way, run the other trick against Danny Collins, but the defender keeps him in check.
    • 25' There has been a goal at the KC!! Find out who scored it here.
    • 24' Richardson is popping up all over the place as he tries to instigate Sunderland attacks. Leadbitter cuts inside from the left and strikes well wide of Cech's goal.
    • 23' This time Jones controls the ball very well with his chest - shame he was miles offside when he did so.
    • 22' Sunderland are seeing more of the ball now, but a long ball up to Jones is too long.
    • 21' Richardson charges forward, but he's marshalled out wide by Mikel. Eventually Collins crosses but Jones can't control it.
    • 19' Anelka feeds the Drog inside the box, but Malbranque tracks back to intercept beofre the striker can work a shot.
    • 18' Mikel is making his presence felt in midfield, and he finds Malouda out on the wing with a classy flick.
    • 16' Collins slides in with a well-timed tackle to intercept Malouda. At the other end Terry muscles Kenwyne Jones out of the way as the striker chases a long ball.
    • 13' Malbranque has been very busy in his duel with Cole. That clash could be key to Sunderland's chances.
    • 12' Phil Bardsley takes an age to take a throw-in. Sunderland win another, but Leadbitter's miscontrol hands possession back to Chelsea.
    • 11' Chelsea have pretty much bossed proceedings so far, without over-exerting themselves.
    • 10' Here's a reminder of how things stand in the Premier League table.
    • 9' Want to keep up to date with events elsewhere? Of course you do. Check out our Premier League multiplex here.
    • 8' Nice open passage of play. Malbranque presses Ashley Cole and wins the ball, but his pass into the centre is poor and Chelsea can break. The attack ends with Drogba trying to lob Fulop. The ball lands on the roof of the net.
    • 6' Dean Whitehead concedes another corner. Malouda's delivery takes Ivanovic by surprise, and the defender's miscontrol gives Sunderland a goal kick.
    • 5' Chelsea are comfortably keeping the ball in midfield.
    • 3' Chelsea win a corner. Malouda curls it towards the near post for Essien, who can only glance a header into the side netting.
    • 2' Leadbitter floats in the free-kick that Whitehead gets his head to, but he can't direct the ball on target.
    • 1' Steed Malbranque draws the foul from Ashley Cole on the right.
    • 1' Chelsea kick off to get the match underway!
    • 15:57 So, the stats don't bode well for Sunderland getting a result today. Luckily, there is every chance they can lose this match and still stay up. They are two points and two places above the relegation zone.
    • 15:56 Sunderland have mustered just two goals in their last nine Premier League games against Chelsea.
    • 15:55 Chelsea have scored 21 goals in their last eight league games against the Black Cats, scoring at least twice in seven of those matches.
    • 15:54 Sunderland have never won on the final day of a Premier League season.
    • 15:54 Nicolas Anelka's 18 goals (including a hat trick v Sunderland earlier in the season) is his best ever return in a Premier League season, beating the 17 he scored for Arsenal in 1998-99.
    • 15:50 Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Ashley Cole, Essien, Mikel, Belletti, Malouda, Drogba, Anelka. Subs: Hilario, Di Santo, Ballack, Sinclair, Kalou, Mancienne, Stoch
