    • 90+3 That's it! West Ham win! Valon Behrami's first goal in English football gives the Londoners the win and Anton Ferdinand is disconsolate, losing against his former employers. Thanks for joining us tonight, we still have some more Serie A action at 19:30 as Milan face Torino, while Barcelona host Getafe in La Liga now! In the Premier League tomorrow night, Wigan face Everton, so if you only like English make sure you're back for that!
    • 90+1 A long ball is gathered by Fulop. He, predictably, goes long.
    • 90' Sunderland still huffing and puffing but that doesn't seem to be blowing the house down.
    • 88' WEST HAM SUB: Bellamy off for Di Michele.
    • 87' Bellamy looks angry about something... He's arguing with Collins, Mike Dean calms them down but he's still yelling at him.
    • 86' Great touch by Richardson but Parker manages to intercept. The ball is played forward and a backpass from Ferdinand almost catches Fulop out.
    • 85' Bellamy gets down the right, a rare attack for West Ham and he wins a corner after his dinked cross is deflected over the bar. Good delivery by Bella and Mullins heads it back into the mixer but Sunderland clear.
    • 84' Edwards puts the corner in, it's headed clear but ends up with Murphy who fires one in but a straightforward save for Green.
    • 83' Lovely play by Sunderland on the edge of the West Ham box, Cisse, Richardson and Diouf working well, wide to Collins but his cross is blocked for a corner.
    • 82' Diouf immediately gets involved, feeding Cisse from deep. He gets one in the back and wins a free-kick, taken short, now wide left to Collins but the cross is headed clear.
    • 81' SUNDERLAND SUB: Diouf on for Jones.
    • 79' West Ham have barely had a sniff this half, all Sunderland but they cannot find a breakthrough because the visitors have a solid defence and a good keeper who are repelling most things.
    • 77' Bardsley with a long-range shot that goes well wide after another spell of Sunderland pressure.

    • 71' Bardsley cuts inside from the right, he beats Parker and smashes in a right-foot shot that veers wide.

    • 56' Faubert with a cross from the right and it finds Bowyer unmarked in the box but he heads well over. Not his strongest point, heading.
    • 55' Parker comes forward and has a crack from about 30 yards but it flies wildly over the bar for a goal kick.
    • 53' Cross in from the right looking for Jones but too close to Green, but the Hungarian fumbles it under pressure from Jones and Parker sweeps up to clear. West felt that was a foul on the keeper but nothing given. Looked like he pushed him to me.
    • 51' Free-kick to Sunderland in their own half, pumped high towards the box and Jones almost gets on the end of it but cleared!
    • 50' Another chance for Cisse at the far post but he heads wide.
    • 48' Malbranque puts in a great ball which Collins just about beats Jones to, it's still with the Black Cats though as Cisse has it on the edge of the box, he turns and shoots and that's handball! But play on says Dean again! Clear handball by Matthew Upson, definite penalty but again Dean misses it!
    • 47' Sunderland on the offensive from the start, a Bardsley cross almost finding Jones but Collins heads clear. Good diagonal ball from Whitehead flicked on by Cisse but too far for Reid.

    • 45+2 And that is the break, West Ham lead 1-0 but it should be more and the visitors should also be down to 10 men. Fun stuff in Sunderland!
    • 45+1 Nosworthy gives away a free-kick on the edge of the D but Bellamy hits it wildly over the bar.
    • 45' WHAT A MISS! A double howler! I've never seen anything like it! Bellamy raced clean through after Ferdinand mis-controlled a long ball, the Welshman was one-on-one and HAD to score but he tried to round Fulop and went too far wide! He could have scored again but instead of risking it waited for Behrami to arrive on the egde of the box and played it to him for a simple goal into an empty net, but he fired it off the bar! Comical.
    • 42' The corner is cleared and comes off a Sunderland shirt for a West Ham throw. Ilunga takes it but Sunderland get the ball back, although it eventually comes back to Rob Green and West Ham can launch an attack.
    • 40' Reid is free on the left, he cuts inside to beat Bardsley and then puts in a shot that is blocked behind for a corner.
    • 38' Bellamy fouls Bardsley and that pleasant young chap Lee Bowyer gets involved.
    • 36' Sunderland have some fire in their belly after that injustice as a sweeping attacking move sees Cisse free on the right but he shoots into the side netting from an angle that demanded a drilled cross into the area.
    • 34' Cisse is played clean through by a Richardson backheel and he must score but he goes down just inside the box under a challenge from Collins, who is all over him, and surely that's a free-kick and a red but no! Mike Dean waves play on! The replay shows Collins with his arm linked with Cisse's. Terrible from the referee and his assistant, who had clear views of that. It looks worse the more you see it.
    • 31' Free-kick to Sunderland on the left, swung into the six-yard box and Jones flies in but Collins does just enough to put him off! There looked to be some holding in that incident, although unclear if it was six to one and half a dozen to the other.
    • 28' Behrami is everywhere and almost gets in through the middle. Reid and Bowyer tangle again and Reid is standing over him, revenge from Bowyer sliding in late on him and the former Leeds man is booked.
    • 26' Richardson comes forward, Bellamy slides in and the ball breaks to REID WITH A FIRST-TIME EFFORT but it bounces off the top of the bar and over!
    • 23' The free-kick from Bellamy is headed clear but falls to Cole who plays it back to Behrami but his shot is blocked and Sunderland break, Cisse bursts forward but is chopped down by Ilunga! No booking though!
    • 22' Fulop has to come out to smother at Cole's feet, his clearance slices left and then Bardsley is forced to foul Behrami just outside the area.
    • 21' Reid down the left, he spots Cisse coming into the box and floats a cross for the Frenchman WHO ARRIVES UNMARKED AND MUST SCORE BUT SOMEHOW HEADS WIDE! Should have been 1-1.
    • 20' Free-kick to West Ham on the right then... Faubert to take, he puts it into the six-yard box, it's headed clear by Nosworthy but drops to Behrami on the edge of the box, he drills a shot in low and it takes a wicked deflection off Jones and spins into the top left! 1-0 West Ham!
    • 19' Reid is the first to be booked for a fairly reckless challenge on professional nice-guy Lee Bowyer, just outside the box on the right too.
    • 18' Sunderland break and Jones bustles through the middle but his shot is blocked and cleared. Now West Ham come forward, Cole with a chance but his shot is blocked and bounces harmlessly into Fulop's arms.
    • 17' Behrami gets in space down the left but he gets stood up by Bardsley and West Ham have to go all the way back to their defence.
    • 16' Corner to West Ham on the left which Bellamy swings in but Jones back defending heads away, twice in the end. Good defending from the big Trini man.
    • 15' Jones rises to meet a cross from the left but can only head several yards wide.
    • 14' Bellamy gets into space on the left and puts over a cross that is too high for Cole but Collins flies in at the far post only for Ferdinand to head clear against his old club.
    • 11' Reid pops up on the left, he swings a right-foot cross over into the sisx-yard box AND CISSE RISES WITH THE HEADER BUT IT LOOPS OVER! West Ham have had the better of the ball but Sunderland look more dangerous.
    • 9' Great cross from the left, Richardson in for Jones but Rob Green flies out to punch clear.
    • 8' Bardsley throws it high into the box but West Ham clear. Still with Sunderland though, until Bowyer hacks it away and Collins gets fouled by Malbranque.
    • 7' Richardson with a superb first-time ball down the right channel for Cisse, who latches onto it and forces a throw near the corner flag off Ilunga.
    • 3' Both sides are passing it about, Sunderland higher off the ground with West Ham using the turf more.
