    • 90+2 Gomes manages to waste a good 30 seconds by marking out his run-up for a goal-kick which doesn't impress the anxious Paul Ince, nor Howard Webb.
    • 90' Three minutes are to be added and Harry Redknapp has few kind words for the much-maligned fourth official, who departs sheepishly.
    • 89' Spurs continue to press forward, adopting the principle that attack is the best form of defence. Blackburn are furiously hammering long-balls up to Santa Cruz, who looks hugely frustrated.
