    • FT And there is the full-time whistle - very comfortable from the Hammers in the end - Sunderland know they are in a real relegation dogfight now.
    • 90+6 Leadbitter with a shot cleared off the line by Collins.
    • 90+6 Sloppy from Llunga who is booked for a foul on Cisse.
    • 90+4 Some good passing from West Ham as the fight goes out of Sunderland. Lopez has a shot deflected wide.
    • 90+2 Cisse flashes another shot wide and Richardson then fires a shot straight at Green. We are going to have EIGHT extra minutes.
    • 90+2 The referee has to break up a little tiff between Boa Morte and Richardson - no bookings though.
    • 90+1 Walter Lopez comes on for Junior Stanislas who is given a standing ovation.
    • 90' Sunderland back off Tristan and the Spaniard tries a little chip but is goes just over the bar.
    • 89' Edwards tries a shot from distance but again it is straight at Green.
    • 89' Sunderland have a corner but Green gathers with ease.
    • 87' Dyer slips past his man into the box but Gordon comes out to claim the ball.
    • 86' The ball falls to Jones in the box but the bounce is tricky and he can only fire over the bar.
    • 84' The clock ticks on for Sunderland although they will have a plenty of added time because of Spector's injury.
    • 82' Boa Morte has a shot blocked and Dyer hits into the side netting as West Ham flash a warning that they could get a third on the break.
    • 81' Kieron Dyer - remember him? Is coming on with Di Michele being given a rest.
    • 80' Finally Sunderland starting to put a bit of pressure on now - Collins puts a ball across the face of the goal that Green has to push away.
    • 78' Well I say that but Green makes a bit of a meal at dealing with a straight shot from Bardsley.
    • 77' After the injury there has been a bit of a lull in proceedings - Sunderland certainly do not look like getting a goal that is for sure.
    • 75' Sunderland making a change - Edwards comes on for Malbranque.
    • 72' Spector is finally stretchered off as James Collins comes on.
    • 68' This is worrying - Spector still down with lots of medical staff around him.
    • 66' Spector has fallen awkwardly on his shoulder and he looks hurt. West Ham have been so unlucky with injuries.
    • 64' Cisse with a free from 35 yards out and in a central position but that goes straight at Green.
    • 62' Gordon has to make two more saves - Tomkins AGAIN from a corner heads on target and the Scot pushes it away. Then it comes out to Stanislas and his low drive is also saved by Gordon.
    • 61' Noble elects to cross - Upson gets and heads down but Gordon bats it away.
    • 61' West Ham with a free kick to the right and just a few yards outside of the box after a hand ball from Ben Haim.
    • 58' Sunderland have Cisse and Jones up front now but they can't hang onto the ball before it gets to them too.
    • 56' Hard to see Sunderland coming back from this and they are sinking closer and closer to the relegation zone - their next match is against Manchester United too!
    • 53' Sunderland bring on Kenwyne Jones straight away with Daryl Murphy coming off.
    • 52' It is two for West Ham - it comes from the corner and it is Tomkins with his first senior goal for the club - he came close early and again he is left free to head home.
    • 51' Poor pass by Murphy and Di Michele can break - he plays it to Tristan and the former Depor fires a decent shot that Gordon has to push wide.
    • 50' Quick feet from Di Michele but then his cross eludes everybody and goes wide.
    • 49' Tristan cuts inside but produces something that is neither a cross nor a shot.
    • 48' Bardsley nicks the ball and storms down the right - he fires a shot that Green pushes wide despite the fact that it was probably going wide.
    • 47' If Sunderland do not win today it will be six games in the Premier League without a win. Sunderland fixtures/results
    • 46' And we are back underway here at Upton Park.
    • HT And there is the half-time whistle - 19-year-old Junior Stanislas has got the only goal.
    • 45' We will have two extra minutes.
    • 45' Bardsley has to make a last gasp header to clear another West Ham cross as the Hammers begin to dominate.
    • 44' Di Michele now gets a shot away and it deflects just wide.
    • 43' GOAL WEST HAM - And it is Stanislas the youngster!! Great break from the Hammers led by Green with a throw-in - eventually the ball was worked to Boa Morte who ran into the box and then he spotted Stanislas - he rolled the ball across and the youngster had an easy task in side footing home.
    • 42' Cisse breaks the offside trap down the left but all on his own he has no option but to fire a shot - it is a decent hit though and Green has to push it away for a corner.
    • 41' Again Mike Jones awards a quick free-kick when it might have been better to let the game flow with an advantage.
    • 39' Cisse tries to storm forward on his own but Upson clears - this game really needs a goal.
    • 37' Noble gives away a free-kick on the edge of the left of the area - Richardson with a chance to deliver but his free is too high.
    • 34' Leadbitter gets another shot on target but there is now power on this one. It might have taken a deflection on the way in to be fair.
    • 33' Di Michele chips a great ball over the defence and for a moment it looks like Ilunga will be able to fire a shot in from close range but he was just crowded out of things.
    • 32' Don't want to jinx things - these teams have met at Upton Park 37 times and there has NEVER been a 0-0 draw.
    • 30' Sunderland lacking some ideas - they have posession in the West Ham area but just didn't know what to do with it.
    • 28' Stanislas gets into the game for the first time in a while - he skips into the area but his shot is actually blocked by his own player - Di Michele. There was no much power on the shot to be fair.
    • 26' Noble with a good free into the box but Anton Ferdinand clears with a fine header against his former club.
    • 25' Whitehead booked for a foul on Boa Morte - the referee should have really allowed advantage to be played. Whitehead actually hurt himself in the tackle but it looks like he might be ok.
    • 23' Superb stuff from Di Michele his chests a ball 30 yards out and then spins around before firing a half-volley just wide.
    • 22' Leadbitter found in space down the right but his low cross is dealt with by Upson.
    • 20' Malbranque is allowed to cut in from the right side and then he fires a low drive from outside the box that goes wide - West Ham gave him a bit too much room there.
    • 19' Rob Green makes a mess of a clearance and Sunderland have throw in in an attacking area but they can do nothing with it.
    • 18' Big crowd from Sunderland have come down from the game and they are making their voices heard. Bit quiet from the home fans so far though.
    • 16' The match has gone a bit scrappy with neither side being able to wrestle control of midfield.
    • 15' Sunderland are just three points off the relegation zone so they know they need to start picking up results. Premier League Table
    • 14' Mike Jones is today's referee which was a late change. Jones enjoying his first season in the Premier League.
    • 13' West Ham feel they should have a free down the right when Spector looked to be felled but the referee waves it away.
    • 12' So the opening stages of this match was all in the Sunderland half but the opposite is now the case.
    • 11' Leadbitter so close again - great one-two with Cisse on the edge of the box and then he gets a good shot away too but Green is alert to make a good save.
    • 9' Fine strike from distance from Leadbitter just fizzes past the post - better from Sunderland again.
    • 8' Sunderland have finally settled into this game and are looking a bit more competative.
    • 6' Ricky Sbragia has said that the return of Richardson is key for his side. He also says his team plans to attack but as you can see from the team below they have left out Kenwyne Jones Sbragia relishing Richardson return
    • 5' Comical scenes - Kieran Richardson with a corner but he kicks the flag instead! He is asked to retake it but it is a poor corner.
    • 4' West Ham of course are in the hunt for a European spot and Gianfranco Zola has said that is the aim.
    • 3' Gordon forced to punch another corner away - all West Ham in these early stages.
    • 2' Another Hammers youngster James Tomkins gets his head on a corner but he puts it wide - that was a chance although he was a little off balance.
    • 1' Strong early start for West Ham with Junior Stanislas - making his first start for West Ham - looking lively down the left.
    • 1' And we are underway.
    • - Teams out here at Upton Park for this Premier League clash with some interesting team-news at either end.
