    • 7' Carlton Cole flagged offside to the consternation of the home support. He and Bellamy are a handful when they get going.
    • 6' Modric did well to occupy space all alone for that early chance but should have done better. Gomes deals with a couple more early balls forward from West Ham.
    • 4' Craig Bellamy and Didier Zokora squaring up near halfway, calmed down by referee Chris Foy. Both are lucky not to go into the book.

    • - Harry Redknapp makes three changes to his Spurs side from the one that beat Watford in the Carling Cup: Luka Modric returns after four games out to feature behind sole striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, while David Bentley is recalled out wide and captain Ledley King is fit enough to start. Giovanni dos Santos (ankle) did not make it while Alan Hutton is out for most of the season.
