    • 90+4' That's it, full-time! Wigan have clinched a 1-0 victory in the 84th minute courtesy of Ben Watson's fine finish, thanks for joining us.
    • 90+2' A slightly frustrating delay in play as Andre Marriner goes off injured, with Mike Riley the fourth official having to come on in his place to officiate the remaining two minutes.
    • 90' Four minutes to be added at the end of this second half, as Kapo leans back and fires high and wide.
    • 88' The game goes pretty dead as Wigan take their foot of the gas and Hull try in vain to get back into the match.
    • 86' Steve Bruce was dancing around on the touchline as a result of Watson's finish, with Phil Brown left disconsolate.
    • 84' Great goal from Ben Watson, who loops a shot precisely over Matt Duke, who was caught off his line after attempting to clear a long-throw from Mario Melchiot - great finish, and no more than Wigan deserve.
    • 82' Phil Brown struts anxiously on the touchline as he watches his side cling on to a point as it stands - Wigan continue to press forward to no avail.
    • 80' Somehow Wigan fail to score as Rodallega hits the post with a header and Duke then saves from Kapo, before Zaki is adjudged to have handled the ball when about to shoot from close range.
    • 78' Olivier Kapo replaces Paul Scharner in Steve Bruce's final throw of the dice as he looks to grab a decisive goal.
    • 76' Strong defending by Titus Bramble, shepherding the ball out of play with Manucho in close attendance.
    • 74' Zaki, after applauding the home fans, challenges strongly in two aerial battles with Turner, but comes off worse on both occasions.
    • 72' Steve Bruce swaps one Egyptian for another, with Amr Zaki replacing Mido.
    • 70' Dean Marney makes a poor attempt at a volley from the edge of the box, which doesn't trouble Chris Kirkland at all.
    • 68' Craig Folan is extremely fortunate not to get a second yellow for barging Figeuroa into touch for dallying in the corner - he gets away with a stern word from Andre Marriner.
    • 65' Steve Bruce is barking instructions at his players, who are continuing to look the better side, but have nothing to show for their endeavours.
    • 63' Ben Watson comes close after being put through by Kevin Kilbane, but Duke was out of his goal sharply to block his attempted toe-poke from close-range.
    • 61' Zayatte is taken off after he fails to recover from that first half knock, Caleb Folan comes on in his place.
    • 60' Fagan trips De Ridder very cynically and is booked too. This game is deteriorating rapidly.
    • 58' Titus Bramble commits an extraordinarily late foul on Ricketts, who was storming down the right wing, and is promptly booked by Marriner.
    • 56' Dean Marney latches on to a Geovanni through ball, but lashes his shot well over the bar.
    • 54' Rodallega clashes with Ricketts as the Wigan forward continues to look dangerous down the right - the onus will be on him with N'Zogbia's threat lacking from the left.
    • 51' Chris Kirkland makes a point-blank reflex save from Manucho's powerful header after Dean Marney had whipped in a corner from the left.
    • 50' De Ridder starts with a committed challenge on Fagan as Hull start much better than they finished the first half.
    • 48' One change that was enforced was with Charles N'Zogbia, who was perhaps the best player in the first half, going off injured with Daniel De Ridder coming on in his place.
    • 46' We're back underway at the JJB, and Zayatte has began the second half, but how long he will last is in question.
    • 45+2' Andre Marriner blows for half-time just as Kamil Zayatte hobbles off with an injury - I would be quite surprised if he comes out for the second half. It's goalless at the JJB and Wigan have been well on top.
    • 45+1' Melchiot, clearly undeterred by that knock, races down the right wing and delivers a superb ball which Rodallega really should have converted, but Matt Duke is smartly off his line to save.
    • 45' Geovanni dances around Emerson Boyce with neat footwork, before firing a piledriver of a shot into Melchiot's face - the Dutchman does well to hide the obvious pain from that blow. Two minutes to be added.
    • 43' An inexcusable free-kick is delivered by Marney which doesn't even clear the first man, with a host of Hull players waiting expectantly inside the box - very poor.
    • 42' Garcia starts brightly with a powerful run down the right, before he is brought down by Bramble, covering for Figueroa; Hull have a dangerous free-kick now.
    • 40' Bernard Mendy is booked for a cynical foul on Watson, who gathered the ball at pace inside the Hull half.
    • 38' Andy Dawson is substituted by Phil Brown, who brings on Richard Garcia in his place; the defender looks like he sustained a knock.
    • 36' Craig Fagan gets increasingly agitated with Figueroa down the Hull right, as the defender jinks past him, before cutting back inside - all pretty aimless stuff really.
    • 34' Geovanni combines well with Zayatte down the left wing before Melchiot again defends stoutly to regain possession for the home side.
    • 32' Rodallega streaks through on goal and shoots powerfully across Duke to the far corner, but the keeper manages to palm it away - good chance.
    • 30' Bernard Mendy tussles with Figueroa by the corner flag and wins a free kick, but Marney wastes the set-piece.
    • 28' Mido squanders another good chance, volleying over the bar from close range after a good knock-down by Scharner from N'Zogbia's cross.
    • 26' Rodallega breaks for Wigan down the right which tests Zayatte, but the left-back recovers to concede a corner.
    • 24' N'Zogbia is penalised for tripping Ricketts as he surges into the Hull half once more - that was a shame as the winger was really flying there.
    • 22' Scharner powers his way through the middle of the Hull half, drawing Sam Ricketts into a last-ditch tackle which earns him a booking.
    • 21' Great tackle from N'Zogbia, covering Figueroa to dispossess Bernard Mendy deep in the Wigan half.
    • 19' Melchiot covers well to deny Manucho, who bustles his way into the box, with Kirkland racing out to meet him.
    • 17' Bramble joins six other Wigan players in the box as Ben Watson drifts in a cross from a free-kick, but Hull clear.
    • 15' Mido skies his shot after a terrific Wigan break, with Scharner and Rodallega heavily involved in the slick build-up.
    • 13' Scharner holds the ball up well before releasing Watson, who latches on to his pass and drills a low shot which has Duke scrambling across his line to save.
    • 11' Fine work from Paul Scharner down the right byline, as he then cuts the ball back to the waiting Mido, but Turner steals in to intercept.
    • 9' A bodycheck from Zayatte on Rodallega prompts howls of disapproval from the home fans, but referee Andre Marriner is not convinced.
    • 7' Glorious chance for Ben Watson as N'Zogbia continues his lightning start by whipping in a superb ball across the six-yard box, but the midfielder can't get anything on it.
    • 5' Mido, who has not scored in five games since his debut where he scored a penalty against Liverpool, attempts a backward glancing header from N'Zogbia's cross, but Duke saves comfortably.
    • 3' Maynor Figeuroa drifts a long ball to the back post and, whether intentional or not, it loops over Matt Duke and strikes the crossbar - Wigan have started very brightly.
    • 1' We're underway at the JJB, and Charles N'Zogbia whips in a tremendous delivery from the left which Dawson just about deals with.
    • - Manucho and Geovanni both start for Hull, along with Craig Fagan as Phil Brown looks to go on the attack. Steve Bruce drops Amr Zaki, with Hugo Rodallega partnering Mido in attack, while Ben Watson is given a midfield starting berth alongside Michael Brown.

  2. I really think that such a pathetic team like Hull should just pack up and go back where they belong in the 5th Division. Their manager's recent conduct has certainly proven that Hull can't stand the heat anywhere else.
