    • 90+7' The game ends 1-0 to West Ham. It was a fight from beginning to last, sometimes literally, with Cattermole the main villain for almost breaking Parker in two - and goalscorer Cole also at fault for collecting two yellow cards.
    • 90+5' West Ham man Lopez breaks into the box... he is tackled at the last!! Wigan still in it, but will have to cob the ball forward quickly...
    • 90+2' Savio kicks the ball away and is booked. There is six minutes of time added on in total...
    • 90+1' Mario Melchiot strikes for goal... it hits Upson on the arm!! What does Attwell think... no penalty!!
    • 90' Wigan throwing everything at West Ham as we enter injury-time... but the Hammers hold firm on the edge of their box.
    • 89' West Ham change: Walter Lopez on for Parker, who is booed to the bench by the home fans.
    • 87' Savio with a reverse pass for Noble in the box... he could finish it here... great block by Kirkland!!
    • 84' Rodallega throws himself into an overhead kick which is a few yards wide of the far post. Unlucky.
    • 82' Valencia sees a shot saved; a minute later his cross is just too deep for Rodallega, and the ball drops tamely into the keeper's waiting arms. Wigan pressing for an equaliser but without success thus far.
    • 78' West Ham change: Jonathan Spector on for Collison. Wigan change: Bramble replaced by Ben Watson.
    • 77' Collison collapses near the touchline after controlling the ball. The stretcher comes on - he looks in bad shape.
    • 76' West Ham change: Savio Nsereko on for Di Michele.
    • 73' Ilunga comes forward, passing to the feet of Noble in the box... he steps over the ball and Di Michele coming up behind bangs a first-time shot high and wide!!
    • 69' Parker lets fly from distance and Kirkland cannot hold it, but claims at the second attempt.
    • 67' Di Michele attacks the by-line and whips a low cross to the near post where Noble arrives and shoots just wide!!
    • 64' Double Wigan change: Hugo Rodallega and Paul Scharner on for Brown and Zaki.
    • 63' Corner for Wigan. Mido cushions a header for Titus Bramble; his volley is miles over the bar.
    • 59' The crowd are booing the decision to send off their man, but it was not a case of Attwell evening things up.
    • 57' N'Zogbia fires over Green's crossbar from 25 yards. The space opened up for him there...
    • 57' Parker is in trouble on the floor, but gets up when the stretcher comes on. He limps off to receive further treatment.
    • 52' CATTERMOLE SENT OFF!! He went in on Parker with a disgraceful two-footed tackle and deserves his punishment!!
    • 52' Maynor Figueroa streaks forward and plays a one-two... he is just onside... and fires into the side netting!! A great move by the Wigan man.
    • 51' Zaki found with a crossfield ball and looks to send in a cross... it is not accurate enough.
    • 50' Neill catches Cattermole with a studs-up challenge and is booked. The Wigan midfielder is unhappy with that tackle.
    • 46' The second half underway.
    • 45+2' The half-time whistle signals the break. The West Ham fans are not happy - but Cole should not have leapt in with his long legs so high. It was not malicious, but it was worth a yellow card.
    • 45' Charles N'Zogbia with a corner for Wigan. Mido heads it wide from six yards out.
    • 43' Wigan midfielder Cattermole shows some great footwork to roll the ball away from a defender before firing a foot wide of the post.
    • 40' Mido hits the post!! Antonio Valencia beats Ilunga on the right and crosses to the near post, where the big man heads against the woodwork.
    • 39' Brown the latest to be shown a yellow card before the match has even started up again! Parker is lucky to get away without a second booking - he lost his head.
    • 37' COLE IS SENT OFF!! Attwell, who has lost control of this game, shows him a second yellow for almost karate-kicking Boyce in the head as he leapt to meet an aerial ball. The decision - which is fair enough - sparks a fight.
    • 35' Booking for Parker after a studs-up challenge on Michael Brown near halfway with the ball in the air.
    • 34' COLE OPENS THE SCORING FOR WEST HAM!! A fantastic move from the away side: Parker plays the ball in low to the feet of Di Michele, who executes a one-two with Noble having spun off his marker and feeds Cole - and he finishes superbly, bending a shot inside the far post.
    • 30' Cattermole shoots a few yards wide from outside the penalty area.
    • 29' Cole with a poor tackle on Brown to also earn a booking: 2-0 in the caution stakes to West Ham, 0-0 in goal terms.
    • 28' Cattermole takes the ball past Ilunga with a lovely drag and skins someone else before easing past Noble... who sticks out a leg to knock him down. Yellow card.
    • 25' Clever work by Mark Noble allows Ilunga the space to bring the ball into the opposition half and dink a ball over the top for Di Michele... it is too far ahead of him and Kirkland claims.
    • 24' Cole has a problem and takes off his boot after leaving the pitch. It serves him right for wearing sparkly white ones, the big jessie. He laces up another one.
    • 22' Herita Ilunga powers forward from left-back and passes inside to Di Michele, the main threat from deep for Gianfranco Zola's West Ham side; he is muscled out this time though.
    • 20' Fairly scrappy in the middle of the park, with West Ham producing the better touches.
    • 16' West Ham shoot straight up the other end after Green catches the corner, Jack Collison playing in Cole from halfway; he rounds Chris Kirkland but runs out of pitch with Emmerson Boyce tracking back to shield.
    • 15' It is low from Mido and right in the bottom corner with power; Green claws it out then knocks it behind for a corner while on the ground and under pressure.
    • 14' Neill literally shoves over Zaki as they fight for the ball. Just pushes him over with both hands. Another set-piece outside the box...
    • 11' It is floated and accurate; Robert Green tips it over in the top corner.
    • 11' Wigan have a free-kick less than 30 yards out... Amr Zaki stands over it while Attwell adjusts first the wall then the ball. I wonder if he's seen the home fans sporting fezs - what is the plural of fez? - in the stands.
    • 9' Lee Cattermole chops down Lucas Neill, leading to protests from the West Ham players. No card is shown by Stuart Attwell.
    • 7' The Happy Hammers with a good bit of the ball in the opening minutes. Di Michele pulls a shot from 20 yards wide after Matthew Upson began a move which involved his England team-mate Cole.
    • 5' David Di Michele brings the ball into the Wigan half and slips a pass to Carlton Cole on the left... the big striker loses control and the chance. That is not like him.
    • 2' West Ham, wearing their first-choice colours of claret and sky blue, defend a corner. Radoslav Kovac is the man to knock it away.
    • 1' The match begins, Wigan in blue and white stripes kicking from left to right.
    • - Winger Antonio Valencia and striker Mido both return to Wigan's squad, while midfielder Ben Watson is available again after a one-match suspension. West Ham have been rocked by the news that midfielder Valon Behrami will miss the rest of the season.
    • - The teams are in: Wigan: Kirkland, Melchiot, Boyce, Bramble, Figueroa, Valencia, Brown, Cattermole, N'Zogbia, Mido, Zaki. Subs: Pollitt, Edman, Sibierski, Rodallega, Kapo, Watson, Scharner. West Ham: Green, Neill, Tomkins, Upson, Ilunga, Collison, Noble, Parker, Kovac, Di Michele, Cole. Subs: Lopez, Nsereko, Spector, Lastuvka, Sears, Payne, Stanislas.
