    • 90+6' The final whistle goes to end a great match from which a point each is a fair return. However, the night belongs to Richard Dunne.
    • 90+6' Milner slides in and robs Ireland of the ball. Heskey finds him again but Lescott gets in front of Agbonlahor.
    • 90+5' A big cheer goes round the ground as Richard Dunne is announced as Man of the Match over the PA system. No complaints there.
    • 90+4' Dunne heads away Zabaleta's cross. Can Villa mount one last attack?
    • 90+3' Wright-Phillips teases his markers before digging out a cross that sails into the hands of Given.
    • 90+2' Friedel punches away a cross before Heskey can reach it and Bellamy sprints forward with the ball. He lacks support and eventually loses it. The Welshman still has so much pace to burn this late in a match.

    • 36' De Jong sneds Young sprawling and gets booked for the foul. It's on the left-hand side of the area. Ashley Young is limping away, that doesn't look good.
    • 34' City are progressing in instalments as they win a corner now. Tevez fails to flick Barry's corner on at the near post and Villa clear.
    • 33' City send plenty forward for it, but Bellamy's floated ball is headed out for a throw.

    • 14' Bridge feeds Bellamy on the left who cuts inside for Adebayor, but he can't get a clean enough touch on the edge of the six-yard box with Dunne sliding in.
    • 13' Tevez has the beating of Warnock but his ball inside doesn't find a team-mate.
    • 12' Young lifts another ball over the top for Agbonlahor, who tries to chip a cross in but it's blocked.
    • 11' Carew and Agbonlahor chase a long ball down the channel and Agbonlahor wins a throw off Toure. Ashley Young squares it to Petrov on the edge of the box, but the Bulgarian drags his low shot wide of Given's goal.
    • 10' Tevez charges down the wing but Dunne does well to marshall him into the corner, take the ball off him and play it out of danger.
    • 9' Tevez falls while turning but Mike Dean tells him to get up. City retain the ball and keep the pressure on.
    • 8' Milner runs into a cul-de-sac and Barry dispossesses him. City build patiently with Tevez pulling the strings but they struggle to find a way through.
    • 7' Adebayor's strike clips Dunne's leg and Friedel slides out to catch the awkwardly bouncing ball.
