    • Stoke City
    • - It's all over at St Andrew's and it's finished 0-0. Not the best game in truth, but a good away point for Stoke and Birmingham's recent unbeaten run against Stoke continues.
    • 90' Carr tries his luck from range, but in tune with the rest of this game it goes high and wide.
    • 89' Delap almost gets in at the far post from a Lawrence cross, but he times the run poorly and what would have been a great chance goes begging.
    • 88' It's another poor one though and when it comes back into the box Shawcross just fails to get his head to it.
    • 87' Larsson brings down Lawrence and this will be a free kick to Stoke.
    • 86' It hits the wall though and when it comes back into the box Sorensen claims.
    • 86' Whitehead hauls down Benitez and it's as free kick in a good position for Blues.
    • 84' Fuller tries to create a chance for himself by turning Parnaby in the box, but he runs out of space to get the shot in and stabs it wide.
    • 82' Delap almost in on goal there after a smart turn, but he slips at the vital moment and the chance is gone.
    • 79' Chances for both sides in this half, but still no goals here at St Andrews. Opportunities have dried up in the last few minutes and defences on top right now.
    • 75' Fuller was booked for putting that Delap long throw in with his hand.
    • 75' Stoke bring on Whitehead for Etherington.
    • 73' And it's in the net!! But Fuller put that in with his hand and it might just have been cleared off the line anyway. either way, still 0-0.
    • 72' Fuller twisting and turning in the box and Stoke have another long throw..
    • 70' Kitson floors Ferguson with a clumsy challenge and Ferguson looks dazed and confused at the moment.
    • 68' Chance for Stoke now and it's Kitson! Good cross from the left by Lawrence and Kitson heads it over!
    • 66' Glenn Whelan and Barry Ferguson are inolved in a minor scuffle over a quick free kick, but that's sorted out by the ref.
    • 65' Another chance for O'Connor, who is unmarked at the far post, but hauled back by the offside flag.
    • 63' Chance for Blues! A Larsson free kick was headed goalwards by O'Connor but Sorensen dives to his right to make the save. Blues best chance so far.
    • 61' It's all Stoke so far this half and another Delap long throw is cleared.
    • 61' Another change for Blues. Bowyer goes off to be replaced by Larsson.
    • 58' Carr and Lawrence continue their personal battle and it leads to a chance for Stoke! The free kick comes in and O'Connor fails to clear which gives Fuller a chance but he's put it over from close range!
    • 56' Fuller with a chance for Stoke! He takes the ball in his stride and shoots from the right side of the area first time, but it's comfortable for Sorensen!
    • 54' Delap with the long throw and this time it's Shawcross who heads it over the bar.
    • 53' Blues have made a change and Benitez is on for Phillips.
    • 52' Another long throw comes in from Stoke and it's flicked on for Kitson, but the striker can't reach it this time.
    • 50' Roy Aitken and Alex McLeish are very animated in the Blues technical area, as Stoke pile on early pressure.
    • 48' Stoke on the attack early on in the second half and Parnaby has to clear under pressure.
    • 46' We're back underway at St Andrews and it's Stoke who kick off for the second half.
    • - That's it for the first half at St Andrews. It's goalless, but entertaining. Back with more soon.
    • 45' Blues try a long throw of their own, but Sorensen claims that easily.
    • 45' Lawrence goes in late on Carr in return and the ref will want words with Lawrence.
    • 44' Carr flattens Lawrence in an aerial challenge, but both players look to be OK.
    • 43' Fuller looks displeased with an offside decision given against him there, as he went through on goal.
    • 42' Bad miss from Phillips! Nice move down the left involving Carr and Phillips hits it from the edge of the area, but it's wild from a great position!
    • 38' He hobbles off the pitch for treatment, but the ref deemed that to be a fair challenge on Parnaby and play continues.
    • 37' Parnaby is poleaxed by Faye on the edge of the Stoke penalty area and is down.
    • 36' Delap tries his luck with a shot this time, but that's scuffed and out for a goal kick.
    • 35' Delap chucks it in long again, but this time Hart is able to reach it and punch clear.
    • 34' Kitson just can't get his head to a Stoke corner. he wasn't far away from that one. Stoke causing problems with their long throws and crosses.
    • 32' Delap with the long throw again and Fahey has to head over his own crossbar to save Blues. There were two Stoke attackers coming in at the back post to finish that off!
    • 31' Fuller causing problems in the Blues penalty area with a bit of neat footwork, but the chance is snuffed out by three home defenders.
    • 29' O'Connor tries to get a cross in down the left channel, but Shawcross stops him and Wilkinson takes the throw.
    • 27' Fahey nips down the left, but his cross in hugley overhit and goes into touch on the other side of the pitch!
    • 25' O'Connor tries to spring the offside trap, but is stopped in his tracks by the flag.
    • 24' Another Blues right wing cross finds Phillips, but his flick header goes well over the bar.

    • 21' Another Delap long throw is flicked on at the near post and Lawrence is there, but it comes at him too qucikly and he can't turn it in! Chance for Stoke there!
    • 19' Bit of a stop/start few minutes of play at the moment, which ends with a header from Shawcross going over the bar.
    • 16' Lively start to this match, but no real scares for either keeper so far.
    • 15' It's claimed by Sorensen and Stoke can counter.
    • 15' McFadden tries the same thing and that's going to be a corner to Blues.
    • 13' McFadden tries his luck with a left foot cross, but that's dragged wide.
    • 12' Stoke with the corner, which is punched away by Hart, then Shawcross can't reach the next cross with his head.
    • 10' Beattie's afternoon is over and Kitson is on to replace him. It looks like an ankle injury for Beattie.
    • 9' Sorenson called into action there to make the save from a long range effort from Queudrue!
    • 7' Beattie looks to be injured here after a challenge at the far post. He's off the pitch receiving treatment.
    • 6' Blues have their first attack and Phillips should have done better with a volley, but hit it into the ground acrobatically.
    • 5' The Delap long throw causes a few problems in the penalty box there as the flick on went dangerously across the area. No-one there to apply the finishing touch for Stoke though.
    • 4' Gerry Francis and Peter Reid are sitting next to each other in the stands, as Stoke attack down the right. Carr is there again to defend.
    • 2' Stoke on the attack with Fuller chasing a long ball, but Carr gets that back to Hart safely.
    • 1' We're underway and it's Blues who kick off and go straight on the attack through skipper Carr.
    • - The two teams are out and we're just moments away from kick off at St Andrews.
    • - Stoke will be looking to improve upon their Premier League away record, which at the moment stands at two wins from 20 matches and their only successes on their travels last season came at West Brom and Hull.
    • - Blues are looking to keep back-to-back clean sheets for the first time in 32 Premier League matches stretching back to September 2007.
    • - Blues are unbeaten in their last four league matches against today's visitors and haven't conceded a goal in the process since a 1-0 loss at the Victoria Ground in January 1997.
    • - The last time that The Potters won here was in 1988 in the old Division Two.
    • - St Andrews hasn't exactly been a happy hunting ground for Stoke, as they haven't won in their last seven visits and they've lost the last three.
