Ivan Klasnic struck a late winner as Bolton moved clear of the relegation zone with a 3-2 win over Everton at the Reebok. More
90+4 And that's it! Bolton get the three points to move up five places to 12th, above Everton on goal difference.
87' Long ball towards the Everton box, Neill heads it clear but it rebounds off Kevin Davies's head AND KLASNIC! KLASNIC DRILLS IT HOME! BOLTON LEAD!! He can barely contain his delight, the man whose career seemed over after a double kidney transplant may have won this for Bolton!
84' This is very worrying indeed, Klasnic seems to be out cold and Neill has realised it is serious. Dowd calls for the medics but thankfully he gets up dazed but fine. A totally accidental elbow as both flew in for a bouncing ball, with Neill in the air and Klasnic slipping.
81' EVERTON SUB: Coleman is on for the injured Heitinga, who hobbles off so not too serious it seems.
80' Injury to Heitinga as Coleman prepares to come on. Cahill is on the touchline talking to Moyes about something...
78' Lee swings it over AND DAVIES WITH THE DOWNWARD HEADER but it bounces wide!
76' Gosling gets forward, he's somehow found himself in as the Bolton defence opens up for him but he delays the shot and allows Muamba back to shrug him off the ball, with Gary Cahill clearing.
63' BOLTON SUB: Klasnic on for Gardner.
62' As Cahill receieves treatment Fellaini is booked for a pretty nothing challenge on Cohen after Knight cleared. That was barely worth a card, while if the ref had seen what Knight did the former Aston Villa and Fulham man surely would have walked.
61' Worrying for Everton as Cahill goes down clutching his knee. That was VERY naughty from Knight, who stamped on his as Cahill slid in.
60' Booking for Samuel after he clobbered Gosling.
56' Saha wins a free-kick 30 yards out as the face of this game has changed. It was a late and dangerous tackle by Cahill, who is booked. Saha is okay though.
54' Fellaini gets the ball on the right after Neill lofted it over Knight, Cahill is ahead of him and shows him wide BUT FELLAINI RIFLES A SHOT INTO THE ROOF OF THE NET FROM A TIGHT ANGLE! Remarkable goal by the Belgian, Everton are level!
46' Second half underway and Everton go close immediately, with Gary Cahill misjudging a bouncing ball and Tim Cahill almost sliding in to connect. Corner after the ball struck the diving Jaaskelainen.
45+2 Half-time and Bolton lead 2-1 after a rough-and-tumble 45 minutes!
45+1 Jo to take the free-kick on the edge of the D and he smashes it towards the top left and it flies inches over! It seemed to take a touch off someone in the wall but the ref awards a goal kick.
32' Howard catches a long ball and sends Neill away, he plays it through to Saha on the right, he cuts inside and shimmies away from Knight BEFORE UNLEASHING A MAJESTIC LEFT-FOOT SHOT INTO THE TOP LEFT!! WHAT A GOAL! Everton have one back, 2-1.
31' Heitinga is okay to continue after that rap on the ankle, for which Davies is booked. How is it not a free-kick then? The goal-kick is awarded. Surely if it was a foul...
27' Taylor to swing in the free-kick from the right. A quite brilliant delivery AND CAHILL RISES ABOVE EVERYONE TO POWER THE HEADER INTO THE BOTTOM RIGHT FOR 2-0! Bolton on fire but what was Distin doing? He was nowhere near Cahill.
18' Everton almost bounce back with a spectacular spinning volley from Saha but he just fails to make contact on the penalty spot! Great ball from Gosling though. Open game this is, but Bolton deservedly lead!
17' Ricketts in an advanced position on the right, Hibbert comes across but doesn't get close enough and he clips a low cross in that Gardner swings at but misses AND LEE IS THERE TO APPLY THE FINISH LOW PAST HOWARD INTO THE BOTTOM RIGHT AND IT'S 1-0!
5' Brilliant delivery dipping to the far post and they're lining up with DAVIES GETTING THE HEADER IN but it scuffs his head slightly and bounces inches wide! Bolton all over Everton here.
3' Samuel with a throw for Bolton on the left, half-cleared to Lee who plays it back to Samuel, great cross by the Trinidad left-back AND COHEN IS UNMARKED AT THE FAR POST AND HE PLACES THE HEADER PAST HOWARD BUT WIDE! Great chance but the Israeli, who sent it across goal, mis-directed it beyond the far post!

80′ I can't believe the "thinking" of some so called supporters, look at what he inherited from Walter Smith. Moyes has done a fantastic job to achieve what he has with no outside funds. Using the money from the sale of Rooney and Lescott to strengthen the squad. He has a huge and horrific injury list to contend with and no strength in depth now to defend a game in the late stages. Without David Moyes then there is no doubt we would be languishing in the Championship or even worse, look at Leeds, Norwich, Ipswich, Sheffield Weds and Utd, Southampton, Charlton all former long established top flight clubs. Thank your lucky stars he agreed the move from Preston who he had built into a side challenging for promotion.

SAD KOPITES!! FINALLY WON A GAME HAVE YOU??
DAVID MOYES IS BY FAR A BETTER MANAGER THAN THAT FAT SPANISH WAITER!
I CAN'T WAIT UNTILL THIS DERBY ON THE 29TH WE SHOULD HAVE A FULL SQUAD AND MY MONEY IS ON EVERTON TO KICK THE @#$% OUT OF YOUR TWO MAN TEAM! THAT IF RAFA DON'T TAKE THE LADY BOY OFF IF HE BREAKS A NAIL AND WELL-HARD OFF COZ HE A @#$% HOUSE! MAKES ME LAUGH HEARING THEM ALL SAYING "WE'RE GOING TO WIN THE LEAGUE" THEY HAVE ONLY JUST WON AFTER BEING BEAT 4 TIMES! ONCE BY A BEACH BALL!!

Sack Moyes?!?! Are people on crack?? He's the best thing to happen to Everton since Kendal!!!!

another defeat for the 'small club' lol

Moyes is better than O'Leary
At Leeds O'Leary was over spending/losing £1 million a week.
And he did no good at Aston Villa didn't set the world alight did he?

roger h
Why are you a bungalow nothing upstairs
I have spent thousands watching Everton Wembley 84, 85 and 86 and all over Europe and to be honest I wish I had the money.
Everton have had some great managers (not) Remember Joe Royle.

MOYES OUT,HE IS A FAT SCOTTISH @#$%

whinging skiprat scousers,,,,,,you lost ,,,get over it,,,, you dont whing when you spend millions on players,,, if football was a level playing field then all teams would have equal money to spend on the squad.... YOU GOT BEAT by a better team on the day... go drown your sorrows on your dole money.

Do not blame Moyes for he is hindered by a squad that is failing to play up to the true extent of its ability.. Our team is devoid of confidence with our defence in disaray, our midfield lacking guile and strength and our forwards have insufficient good ball to play with. Everton appear to have lost that spark that held us in good stead last season even though our resources were equally deficient. There is no doubt that we sadly miss the skill and drive of Arteta and Pienarr and Jagielka is missing in the centre of defence. During the summer I craved for a creative, strong midfield general and he never appeared. I am concerned that our team is devoid of confidence and could quite easily continue on a run of poor form and could well be fighting for our Premiership life in the New Year. The proceeds of the sale of Lescott were spend in haste as the window closed and the acquisitions have failed to meet expectations.

A MICKEY MOUSE club Everton it doesn't matter who is managing them no consistency and no ambition. Everton were league champions in 1970 and since then have finished above Liverpool three times only. The club has been run badly for too long.
Moyes will one day manage much bigger club's than Everton.
This being said Everton can not attract major talent to the club (not Moyes fault)
Injuries like Everton have at the moment are part and parcel of the game.
The next three games are key to what happens Tottenham, Aston Villa and Benfica.

No surprise here! Well done Bolton, you deserved the win.

rblackhurst, whats wrong with Nick Griffin?i reckon he would do a better job than moyes

Any suggestions that Moyes should be sacked are quite ridiculous
Because of the manager Everton reached in the last two seasons the semi final of one domestic cup, the final of another and qualified for Europe.
Moyes could be the best manager Everton have ever had.
Bill Kenwright will tell people he loves Everton but what he should do is to find major investment.
There has been talk of Everton moving to a new stadium for almost twenty years but the KINGS DOCK site has been developed now (too late Everton).

well done bolton great game

ht

sooner we dump joke teams like bolton in a lower div the better. THANKS A LOT DOWD.
