    • 39' What a chance for Ashley Young! A through ball by Petrov finds Agbonlahor out on the left, but Jensen inexplicably races out of his goal to challenge for and is nowhere near. 1. Lads, I admire your pride in Burnley and in Turfmoor, however whilst Villa did not "spank" you, we are still 5 places and 5 points and 18 goals better off than you!! I recall Hull having a great start to the season and getting good results but ending up narrowly missing relegation, I don't see Burnley being any different, it is a long season and lets be honest, you are only 6 points off relegation with far superior teams like Everton Blackburn West Ham and Fulham, to name a few, waiting to pass you which they will do in a matter of a few games, enjoy the premiership while you can!!

  2. Comment Two you dont understand Burnley do you.The team comes from a small town ok but the passion still burns brightly it always has in the 1960s Harry Potts created one of the best teams ever seen in these Islands,it would still be more than a match for most teams now Jimmy Mac would be worth at least 45 Million, this spirit still lives at Turfmoor and the flame burns brightly once more just as it did in the early 1960s when the CLARET AND BLUE of BURNLEY was among the most feared colours in the domestic game,NEVER EVER RIGHT BURNLEY OFF its a mistake.Up The Clarets Long Live Turfmoor

  4. To matteos.maserati (comment 2)..So Burnley will be lucky to sneak a single goal hey!!!
You muppet,we absolutely played you lot off the park in the 1st half and should really have been 2 or 3 up before Villa ragged their equalizer late on.
We Clarets love it when all you fans from the established premier league clubs get it into your heads that your team will spank our "little club that came up through the play-offs,and will go straight back down."
Believe me this Claret team can and does play some fantastic football at home on the Turf.
Take us for granted at your PERIL!!!

  6. The two claret and blue teams who will still be playing in this league next season...unlike the mighty 'ammers!

  7. Pity the Clarets could not have held on but i would have settled for a point at 3pm. I thought Villa would have been our hardest home game to date they are a good side with a great manager. Burnley are getting stronger every week and despite their poor away form look good enough to survive the Premiership.
