    • Everton
    • 90+4 And that's it. Burnley have their second league win of the season. Everton will feel aggrieved not to have got anything from a game they dominated bar the opening ten minutes.
    • 90+3 Jo with the strike but it's tame. Hibbert picks up the loose ball and crosses for Rodwell, who heads over. That could be it.
    • 90+1 Bikey gives away a sloppy free-kick and a crowd of Everton players surround it.
    • 90 Four minutes of added time.
    • 90' Eagles relieves some pressure, by drawing a free-kick from Neville.
    • 89' Burnley are under immense pressure. Jensen drops a catch and then Jo headers over from a free-kick.
    • 87' Fletcher is replaced by Thompson
    • 85' Everton huff and puff, but make little impact.
    • 84' Balkes comes off for Guerrero.
    • 83' Osman is penalised for a foul and Burnley rightly take their time.
    • 81' Saha has a rasping 25 yard effort whistle just past the post
    • 80' Eagles for Paterson.
    • 79' Saha has the ball in the back of the net but it is disallowed for a foul.
    • 78' Everton look far more threatening with Jo on the pitch.
    • 77' It is all Everton. All Everton. Saha has a shot blocked and it is out for a corner.
    • 76' Oh dear. Saha drags the penalty wide.
    • 75' Tony Hibbert bursts forward and draws a penalty from McCann - looks like a dive to me.
    • 73' Everton are the dominant force here.
    • 71' Carlisle clears his lines following a cross from Osman.
    • 68' Bikey, who has been imperious, clears a Baines cross.
    • 66' Hibbert crosses another teaser after being played in by Osman. Everton's midfield really do need to get into the box and support Saha. That's the third time Hibbert has delightfully crossed to an empty box.
    • 64' Jo is getting ready to come on.
    • 63' Having said that Burnley go up the other end, win a corner and McCann improvises brilliantly but Howard is equal to his effort.
    • 59' The home faithful are in full voice, but Burnley are under the cosh.
    • 57' Burnley clear their lines but the ball is clipped back in by Osman and there is a huge clash of heads between Cahill and Bikey.
    • 56' Cahill now has an effort blocked and wins a corner.
    • 55' Yobo makes a superb block on McCann, this is real end to end stuff.
    • 53' Burnley put together a great move down the left but the cross is just over-hit.
    • 51' Yobo scythes down McCann and we have a stoppage for an injury.
    • 49' Hibbert clears for a corner, which Howard then claims.
    • 48' Goal-scorer Elliott picks up the first card of the afternoon for a late challenge on Fellaini.
    • 47' Everton start the half on the attack but Baines is offside.
    • 46' Burnley get the second half under way
    • 45+1 A first half war of attrition draws to a close.
    • 45' Paterson is flagged offside, when he really shouldn't be.
    • 44' Yobo ushers the ball out. Poor match thus far.
    • 43' Elliott bundles over Baines in the Everton box, yet another foul.
    • 41' Fellaini is bundling about giving away needless fouls.
    • 40' After the shock of the goal, Everton settle down and begin to dictate. Burnley can count themselves fortunate to be in the lead.
    • 39' Blake weaves this way and that before crossing for Fletcher. Too high, but he showed Fellaini a clean set of heels, there.
    • 37' Rodwell's effort is now blocked.
    • 35' Pienaar attempts to draw Everton immediately level but he drags his effort wide.
    • 33' Goal and it must be said: slightly against the run of play. Steven Fletcher finds Wade Elliott on the edge of the box, the winger opens his body and looks to whip it around Neville into Howard's top right hand corner. It takes a nick off Neville and just evades Howard's despairing dive.
    • 33' Burnley put together a neat move down the right but it breaks down in the box and Baines half clears.
    • 32' Hibbert is getting lots of joy down the right. Louis Saha is inches away from dispatching his cross.
    • 31' Rodwell heads the resulting corner straight at Jensen.
    • 30' Everton put together the best move of the half and Cahill finds Hibbert, whose cross is cleared by Mears. A lot better from Everton.
    • 29' Both teams have settled into some percentage football - lots of balls into channels.
    • 28' Everton keep the ball well in the midfield and, after their shaky start, are looking the more likely.
    • 26' Fellaini wades into Wade Elliott and the winger is down injured.
    • 25' Howard has the ball in hand - trying to slow down the pace of the match.
    • 24' Rodwell lashes it into the wall.
    • 23' Rodwell and Baines stand over a free-kick 25 yards out.
    • 21' Mears blocks a Pienaar effort following a mazy run.
    • 20' Neville clears his lines twice in quick succession. Burnley are getting quite a bit of joy down the channels.
    • 18' The game has settled down a bit. Everton, after their shaky start, sit back and allow Burnley to come onto them. And then break.
    • 17' Philip Neville, what are you doing? A needless backwards header puts Howard under undue pressure.
    • 16' New signing Bikey charges forward but Yobo is equal to him and clears his lines.
    • 15' It's the big frame of Clark Carlisle that blocks Rodwell's effort.
    • 13' Yobo blocks a Fletcher effort.
    • 12' Burnley have definitely had the better of the opening exchanges, their slick passing style will gain them a cult following this season.
    • 10' Everton must stop going long.
    • 9' A miscue from Baines hands Burnley possession again.
    • 8' McCann's cross is too long and it drifts out for a throw.
    • 6' Fellaini has Everton's first effort of note, but can't get enough on Hibbert's cross.
    • 4' Neville clears his lines as Everton come under early pressure - a bit of a nervous start here from the Toffees.
    • 2' Early chance for Paterson! He hits the bar from close range with a header, Howard gets something on the rebound, before Yobo hooks clear.
    • 1' Everton kick-off and will look to make amends for last weekend's shambles.
    • - Five minutes to kick-off.
    • - Team News: Burnley: Jensen, Mears, Carlisle, Bikey, Jordan, Alexander, Steven Fletcher, Elliott, McCann, Blake, Paterson Subs: Penny, Kalvenes, McDonald, Gudjonsson, Thompson, Guerrero, Eagles Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Yobo, Neville, Baines, Osman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Cahill, Pienaar, Saha Subs: Nash, Jo, Vaughan, Gosling, Duffy, Baxter, Wallace Referee: Phil Dowd (Staffordshire)
    • - The Joleon Lescott saga continues and he is unlikely to start unless of course he has shown a dramatic improvement in attitude, while Rodwell and Pienaar remain doubtful, but Anichebe, Arteta, Jagielka and Yakubu are all out. For Burnley, Michael Duff is a doubt while captain Steven Caldwell is definitely out.
    • - These two sides meet on the back of two very different results. David Moyes will be looking for a positive reaction from his side having seen them destroyed 6-1 at home by Arsenal last weekend; while Owen Coyle will hope his side can build on the field good factor following their superb 1-0 victory over Champions Manchester United on Wednesday.
