Everton and Aston Villa shared two goals and two red cards in a hard-fought 1-1 draw in their Premier League clash at Goodison Park. More
90+3' The full-time whistle goes at Goodison Park and it has ended 1-1 between Aston Villa and Everton with Bilyaletdinov's goal being cancelled out by substitute John Carew's strike after half-time. Thanks for joining us!
89' Jo is also on for Yakubu as David Moyes throws his striker on for the final few minutes.
88' Petrov limps off and is replaced by Nigel Reo-Coker following the Villa captain being clattered a few minutes earlier.
87' Another red card, and this time it is thoroughly undeserved! Carlos Cuellar receives his second booking but it was no more than a petty foul - very harsh indeed!
85' Bilyaletdinov is sent off! The Russian came crunching in on Petrov with a tackle which was high and reckless! A definite red card and let's hope Petrov is okay!
83' Saha is caught offside, but at least the substitute is forcing the issue for Everton in the final 10 minutes.
81' Cahill and Warnock clash heads, and this is becoming a bit ridiculous and just shows how many long balls are being pumped into the two respective boxes at the moment.
79' Warnock again gets down the right and his low cross finds Carew, but the striker cannot turn the ball inside the near post and the chance goes begging.
77' Heskey and Heitinga clash heads on halfway and the Everton defender comes off worse as he lies in a crumpled heap following the challenge.
75' Cahill whips in a decent delivery from the right which picks out Saha, but the striker puts his header wide of Friedel's near post.
73' Richard Dunne does well to shepherd the Villa back four up to catch Saha off-side as the striker looks to make an impact.
72' Rodwell goes down clutching his head after coming off worse from an aerial challenge with Carew, but he looks okay to continue.
71' Louis Saha comes on to replace Fellaini as David Moyes looks to bolster his attacking line.
54' Ashley Young looks in trouble after that poor challenge from Cahill, and he limps along the touchline with the physio.
51' Tim Cahill is shown a yellow card for a cynical trip on Ashley Young, who gets gingerly to his feet after having his run ended abruptly.
47' GOAL!!! CAREW GRABS THE EQUALISER! The tall striker steals in to slot home from inside the Everton box after the ball fell to him at the back post and Villa draw level at 1-1! What an impact from Carew!
46' John Carew comes on to replace James Milner and the big striker will be looking to make an impact on his return.
46' The second half is underway at Goodison Park with Villa needing a response as they trail 1-0.
45+2' The half-time whistle goes at Goodison Park and Everton have ended it on a real high courtesy of Bilyaletdinov's stoppage-time opener! The Russian was composed in netting the opener and Everton deserve their lead on the balance of play.
45+1' GOAL!!! Cahill beats Dunne to the ball out on the right before his looping cross deflects off Yakubu and into the path of the waiting Bilyaletdinov, who coolly strokes his second Everton goal into the far corner!
45' There is a slight delay as Warnock receives treatment for a cut on the head after a robust aerial challenge with Cahill.
34' Warnock meets a through ball from Petrov on the volley but he drags it agonisingly wide of Howard's far post!
31' Another extremely soft yellow card is awarded, this time to Cuellar who simply stands his ground as Baines buys a free kick!
29' Heitinga dinks a delicate through ball to Yakubu, who meets it first time with a strong header but cannot direct it on target and Friedel has a goal kick.
22' Warnock is shown a yellow card for absolutely nothing - that was pure and simple mistaken identity as Sidwell fouls Rodwell!
17' Johnny Heitinga concedes a free kick 35 yards away from his goal which Young whips in but cannot find the head of Richard Dunne at the far post - good opportunity.
12' There is a delay for some jostling in the Villa box between Ashley Young and Tim Cahill before Fellaini heads over from another Baines corner.
11' Baines whips in the resulting corner and finds the head of the dangerous Tim Cahill, but the midfielder leans back and his effort goes over the bar.
1' We're underway at Goodison Park and Jack Rodwell immediately surges upfield for the hosts.

Come on the toffees - soon be back to winning ways....

Superb game....one that should have suited the neutrals. It was end to end football for most of the game and hard aggressive football reminisent of older days. Well done Messrs Neill, Carew, Cahill, Heitinga, Agbonlahor and Young for their determined graft. The game only being spoilt by a referee and his second. A good point won by both teams.

good name, stench - you're about as welcome (and as intelligent) as dog mess.
