Facts and figures ahead of Fulham's match with Bolton at Craven Cottage. More
90+4 PEEP!! PEEP!!PEEEEEEEP!!!!! That's all folks.
What a game. Bolton went ahead against the run of play but Fulham battled back and deserved a point. Both teams could have won it but a draw suits Fulham more than Gary Megson's Bolton. See how it affects the Premier League table.
90'+2 Bolton have a free-kick 25 yards out on the right...Taylor to take it...WHAT A CHANCE FOR BOLTON!!! Steinsson finds himself all alone eight yeards out but his header is woeful and over the bar. Should have won the game.
88' Clint Dempsey has a rush of blood 18 yards out and blazes a shot over.
82' Duff tries his luck, left-footed, from 20 yards but it curls wide.
79' SUB FOR FULHAM: Kagisho Dikgacoi comes on for of Zoltan Gera.
78' SUB FOR BOLTON: Mark Davies replaces Tamir Cohen.
74' GOAL FOR FULHAM!!! Lovely move involving Gera and Nevland, who shifted it right to Duff. The winnger stepped outside Samuel then fizzed a shot into the far corner through a host of players.
74' Samuel is cautioned for a late tackle on Duff.
68' SUB FOR FULHAM: John Pantsil replaced by Simon Davies.
66' Nevland strikes an effort from 20 yards but Jaaskelainen makes a great save to force a corner.
63' Jaaskelainen cautioned for time-wasting at a free-kick he was taking.
60' Duff cuts inside the box and shoots left-footed. Jaaskelainen makes a smart save down low to his right and pushes it away from danger.
59' SUB FOR BOLTON: Fabrice Muamba on for Klasnic
58' Andy O'Brien is cautioned for Bolton. A pretty clumsy challenge on Nevland
56' OFF THE LINE AGAIN FOR FULHAM!!! From another corner Hangeland rises highest but it's that man Steinsson who clears. Again.
51' Bolton's Gavin McCann is cautioned for a foul on Zoltan Gera.
48' Ricardo Gardner gets a caution for not retreating ten yards at a free-kick.
45' Here we go again...
45'+2 That's the end of the first half. Great strike from Klasnic to put Bolton ahead but Fulham have had their chances.
42' McCann's free-kick for Bolton falls onto the head of Cahill on the left edge of the goal area but his header back across goal is cleared by Konchesky with Davies lurking.
33' GOAL FOR BOLTON!!! A long throw into the Fulham box causes chaos. Gary Cahill heads it onto Klasnic who turns smartly before lashing the ball inside the near post from eight yards out. Nice finish.
31' Greening of Fulham is cautioned after making no contact WHATSOEVER with Tamir Cohen. It's the most outraegeous dive I've seen for many a year.
22' Bolton's Steinsson is cautioned for taking the legs away from Clint Dempsey. The American isn't happy about the challenge.
14' It's got scrappy in midfield...mis-placed passes for either side but Greening is starting to see the ball for Fulham...now they have a corner on the left...Duff to take it...IT'S CLEARED OFF THE LINE!!!...great chance for Fulham...It was Nevland whose shot from four yeards was blocked by Steinsson. Superb defending.
3' Kevin Davies is cautioned for a late challenge on Hangeland. Referee Mr Bennett was in no doubt.
2' Chris Baird takes a Fulham free-kick from just inside his own half. It's lofted forward but easily cleared.
- And we're off...
- Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hangeland, Hughes, Konchesky, Gera, Baird, Greening, Duff, Nevland, Dempsey
Subs: Stockdale, Seol, Riise, Eddie Johnson, Smalling, Davies, Dikgacoi
- Both teams are ready to enter the fray. Fulham, wearing white shirts and black shorts, have a real chance to cement their place in the top half of the table.
Bolton, in their change strip of...well, dark blue and purple, cannot afford to lose this. Gary Megson will surely get the dreaded ' vote of confidence' should the Trotters lose again today.
- Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Andrew O'Brien, Cahill, Samuel, Cohen, Gardner, McCann, Taylor, Kevin Davies, Klasnic
Subs: Al Habsi, Muamba, Elmander, Knight, Mark Davies, Ricketts, Lee
- Referee: Steve Bennett (Kent)
- Team news to follow...
- Fulham, on the other hand, are seeking a fourth straight win at home and will have been buoyed by their recent 3-0 mauling of Blackburn Rovers. A win for Roy Hodgson's side could see them break into the top six. No, really.
- Bolton, who have never won at Craven Cottage in the Premier League, have lost their last three games. Yikes!
- If ever a game could be called a 'six-pointer' then surely Fulham against Bolton is it.
