    Time:90'
    • Hull City
    • Portsmouth
    • FT No late scares and plenty of boos as the final whistle is blown.
    • 90+2 Myhill will continue for these last few moments.
    • 90+2 Myhill could be forced off here and with all three subs used that will mean an outfielder would have to go in goal.
    • 90+2 That corner is straight at Myhill. Myhill has hurt himself in clearing the ball too.
    • 90+2 Yebda with a good run down the right and his corner is cleared away for a corner.
    • 90' We will have three extra minutes.
    • 89' Hull bring on Ghilas with Marney coming on.
    • 88' O'Hara curls over the bar though - poor effort.
    • 87' Myhill fumbles the ball on the edge of the box and then fouls Boateng on the edge of the box and he is lucky he is not the last man as otherwise he would have been off. A free on the edge of the D for Portsmouth though...
    • 86' Geovanni with a shot from distance but that effort is still rising.
    • 84' Marney has to make a last ditch tackle to clear as Dindane looked to shoot after Piquionne's long run had caused Hull some trouble. Piquionne has added something since coming on.
    • 83' Geovanni with a looping header but James gathers with ease.
    • 83' The crowd in the KC Stadium today is 23,720
    • 82' Decent cross from Garcia but Kaboul makes a strong defensive header.
    • 82' Lots of moan and groans from the home fans but they are not really doing anything that might spark their team into life.
    • 80' Geovanni tries to find a little space for himself but when he finally gets a shot away it is blocked.
    • 78' Portsmouth are again able to attack after a HULL corner but despite having men forward they cannot do anything. Just a lack of conviction on their part.
    • 76' Poor read from Gardner again and that allows Dindane to drill a low cross across the face of the goal but Boetang cannot get on the end of it. .
    • 75' Chants of "You don't know what you are doing" from the Hull fans who are unhappy to see Stephen Hunt taken off in place of Richard Garcia.
    • 74' For the first time James cannot get to a ball whipped into the box. It was from a Geovanni corner but he got away from it.
    • 73' Piquionne has the ball at his feet in the Hull box but eventually just runs it out of play while under pressure.
    • 72' Hull make their first change. Barmby comes on for Mendy.
    • 71' O'Hara is able to whip in another cross after a poor clearance from Hunt. Nothing comes from it again though but Hull are handing Pompey a real chance here with their poor play.
    • 70' Portsmouth cannot do anything with another corner but they are the better side so far.
    • 69' A cross comes in to the Pompey box and the home fans shout "handball" as it hits off Wilson but not one Hull player protested.
    • 68' Marney has a chance to start a Hull attack but then produces a terrible pass.
    • 67' Myhill finally gathers after another little bit of panic by Hull in their own box. Pompey enjoying the best spell of pressure from either side so far.
    • 65' Pompey make their first change with Piquionne on for Tommy Smith.
    • 64' CLOSE AGAIN FROM POMPEY. Great ball in by Boateng and Yebda gets a little touch and Myhill has to save again from close range. Yebda just need to get a little bit more on that.
    • 63' And now Hull struggle to deal with a Pompey corner and Smith nearly has a chance but he cannot get a proper contact on it and it goes high and wide.
    • 62' Hull defend the free poorly and it drops to Dindane - he fires a shot on target but is straight at Myhill who bats it away. It comes straight back out to Dindane but his second effort is blocked by his own man - Kaboul.
    • 61' Hunt pulls around Smith and gives away a silly free-kick in a dangerous area.
    • 60' Awful ball from Mokoena and Hunt can launch a counter-attack - it is three v three but Geovanni's low cross clips a defender and James manages to gather again.
    • 58' Yebda in some pain after a heavy tackle - he will live though.
    • 57' Olofinjana drives forward and the ball then spills to Geovanni in the box. James dives out and gathers the ball and that is superb goalkeeping - if he got that even a little bit wrong it would have been a penalty.
    • 56' James has looked very focused today. He comes out to claim the resulting free-kick from Hunt.
    • 55' Another booking as Mokoena fouls Geovanni - he might have got some of the ball to be fair.
    • 54' First booking of the game as Marney pulls back Dindane.
    • 53' When Neil Armstrong was taking one small step for man he would have experienced more atmosphere then he would have at the KC Stadium today. Very quiet.
    • 51' Hull again do nothing with the corner and Pomepy nearly launched a counter-attack again. Hull have to be careful when bringing men forward. They have nearly been caught out a couple of times.
    • 50' Finnan has to head a dangerous cross from Mendy over the bar. And the Irishman is in a bit of pain after and awkward landing.
    • 49' Dindane holds the ball up well and then plays a one-two with Boateng - he then checks it back to O'Hara but he cannot get the ball under control.
    • 48' Marney fires a shot over the bar from a tough angle just outside the box.
    • 47' Hunt gets away from Finnan for a moment - Finnan gets back but can only black Hunt's cross out for a corner.
    • 46' Stuart Attwell - the league's youngest referee at just 27 - has got us back underway - the weather is a little bit better now so maybe we will get a better second-half.
    • - We have finally had something worth looking at....a pretty rainbow is now overhead.
    • HT And there is the half-time whistle. If you are thinking about an early Christmas present for your insomniac friend then try and pick up the DVD of this match.
    • 45' There will be one extra minute.
    • 45' Hull do nothing with the corner and Smith then leads a counter-attack. However, that ends after a woeful shot from distance from O'Hara.
    • 44' Hunt checks it back to Marney who fires a decent shot from 30 yards out that looked to be on target but it hits Wilson and goes out for Hull's first corner of the match.
    • 44' Gardner takes an age to control the ball and then his back pass if far from convincing but he gets away with it all.
    • 43' Portsmouth finishing this half the better of the two side.
    • 42' Those in the house around the KC Stadium who are suffering from hangovers could easily have a little nap this afternoon. The ground has gone very quiet. There really is very little for them to shout about.
    • 40' Great driving play from O'Hara sets up a Portsmouth attack. He feeds Dindane who then finds Smith with his back to goal just about eight yards out. Smith spins McShane superbly but then he scuffs the shot when the chance really opened up.
    • 38' Really poor stuff this. I feel sorry for the Match of the Day editor who has to try and find some "highlights" from this game.
    • 37' Geovanni tries to make things happen down the right but it bounces off him and goes wide. Well defended by Finnan.
    • 35' Olofinjana with a great ball inbehind the defence but Vennegoor of Hesselink just can't quite get on the end of it.
    • 34' Good calm defending from Marc Wilson sees him clear. the young Irishman has been one of the better players out there.
    • 32' O'Hara is getting more and more involved in the match but he has just been intercepted by Vennegoor of Hesselink.
    • 30' Lack of tight marking from Hull and Boateng is able to line up a shot from distance but he drags it well wide of the target. Decent spell for Portsmouth though.
    • 29' Hull nearly dig their own grave. Olofinjana passes the ball back but Dawson just looks at it before finally releasing that Myhill is not coming out for it. He finally wakes up though and clears.
    • 28' Another Portsmouth attack ends after a very poor pass from Boateng.
    • 27' Better passing from Portsmouth and Gardner slides dangerously into Dindane inside the box, but gets the ball. The attack ends when Mokoena fired well over the bar.
    • 26' Hunt and Mendy have swapped wings for the moment and Hunt nearly finds his fellow winger with a cross field pass.
    • 24' Woeful free kick from Hunt is gathered with ease by James. The match is all being played in the Pompey half but other than Geovanni - Hull seem to be lacking in quality and imagination.
    • 22' Good work from Dawson and Geovanni down the right and Marney is found in space 25 yards out but his shot sails well over the bar with James watching it all the way.
    • 21' Turning into quite a scrappy match now after a bright start. Chances have been few and far between.
    • 20' Hull feel they should have a corner as Geovanni and Finnan both attacked the same ball but the referee decides in favour of Pompey.
    • 19' Kaboul gets a long chat from the referee for a foul on Geovanni but he escapes without a yellow card. A lucky boy judging from the replay.
    • 18' Kaboul with a good ball in behind the defence but it JUST has a little too much juice on it for Dindane.
    • 17' James has to come out and punch clear a very dangerous looking cross from Geovanni. Good goalkeeping.
    • 16' Hunt has a half-chance to play in Geovanni but he plays the ball behind the Brazilian.
    • 14' Stephen Hunt has already snapped at more than a few heels today. He gets involved but you must be worried about bookings if he is in your fantasy team.
    • 13' Yebda earns a corner for Portsmouth down the right. O'Hara whips it in but Tommy Smith was fouling Myhill.
    • 12' Hunt whips a free in between the pack of bodies and the goalkeeper and it just needs a touch but James (in a fetching pink jersey) dives to save.
    • 11' Best chance came for Smith early in the game but so far Hull have looked slightly the better side.
    • 10' Poor pass from Mokoena sees Hull take possession in a dangerous area but they cannot do anything with it.
    • 9' Geovanni goes down 35 yards out but the referee just tells him to get up. Physical start to this match. The tackles are flying in.
    • 7' Hunt trips his countryman Finnan down the right - chance for O'Hara to swing a ball into the box - Myhill punches it away and then good defending from McShane sees him win a free out.
    • 6' Hull shift the ball from left to right but then Wilson comes in to clear as Mendy looked to move into the right edge of the box.
    • 5' Hull box Pompey into the corner deep in their own half but the visitors finally manage to clear.
    • 4' Hull earn a couple of free kicks in quick succession - the second of which is 35-yards out but definitely in "Giovanni-country." He can't keep the shot down though as it goes well over the bar.
    • 3' Lively start to this match. It is rainy and windy here so not the best conditions for football but a promising start.
    • 2' Portsmouth have chance straight away - Hull fail to deal with a high ball and Tommy Smith finds himself racing clear ahead of Zayatte but he drags his effort wide of the target. That was a half-chance though.
    • 1' And Portsmouth get us underway at the KC Stadium.
    • - We hear that Bullard picked up an injury while playing for the reserves on Tuesday. He picked up a shin injury and has STILL yet to make his home debut.
