    Time:90'
    • Portsmouth
    • Wigan Athletic
    • 90'+4 A late, late corner for Wigan. Poor ball. Scotland regains possession but it's all over at Fratton Park! Portsmouth are off the mark at home with a convincing victory. Portsmouth have beaten Wigan 4-0!!
    • 90'+3 One minute left. Wigan have been a pale shadow of the side who turned Chelsea over and eased past Burnley last week.
    • 90'+2 Kaboul blasts it from 35 yards and the shot whistles narrowly wide of Kirkland's post!! Almost five for the hosts!
    • 90'+1 And Wigan frustration boils over as Thomas clatters hat-trick hero Dindane and that's a booking for the Latics man.
    • 90' There'll be four minutes of time added on and the end can't come quick enough for Wigan.
    • 90' GOAL PORTSMOUTH!! Dindane steps up to send Kirkland the wrong way and complete his hat-trick!! 4-0 Portsmouth!!
    • 89' And it's a penalty to Portsmouth!! Kanu skips into the box and is brought down by Emmerson Boyce. Easy decision for ref Wylie.
    • 87' The corner coms to nothing and Wigan clear.
    • 86' Great move by Portsmouth!! Dindane, Kanu and Mullins straight into the action. Kanu with the effort and that's put behind for a corner by Boyce.
    • 85' Sub for Portsmouth. Boss Paul Hart sends on Hayden Mullins for Hassan Yebda.
    • 84' Straight into the wall. That would have been rough justice on Wigan if that had gone in.
    • 84' It's about 20 yards out and central. The wall is pushed back and it looks like Younes Kaboul to take it.
    • 83' Nice tackle by Thomas as he denies Kanu, but Mr Wylie has given Portsmouth a free kick. Bad decision by the ref!
    • 81' Wigan haven't given it up quite yet though! Emmerson Boyce with a header which goes wide of James' goal.
    • 81' It's all gone a bit quiet at Fratton Park, but the hosts won't be too concerned about that.
    • 80' There's ten minutes remaining. Portsmouth lead Wigan 3-0 and are cruising to their first home points of the season as Scotland loses possession.
    • 78' That's another wasted Wigan pass. David James has the ball and you can bet he won't be in such a hurry as his opposite number.
    • 77' Portsmouth with another long ball down the middle. It's straight through to Kirkland and the Wigan keeper quickly sends Wigan away.
    • 76' The ball ricochets off Dindane as N'Zogbia puts in the tackle but Boyce is there to snuff out the danger.
    • 75' Wigan have won a free kick. N'Zogbia sends it in and it's comfortably away by Pompey.
    • 73' Good chance for Kapo!! A scramble ends with Kapo firing in a low left foot shot, but it's blocked by the Pompey defence and James smothers the ball as Sinclair bears down!!
    • 72' Wigan on the attack. Pompey sub Belhadj takes no chances and thumps the ball off the pitch.
    • 71' Kanu looking to advance, but that's gGood defending by N'Zogbia.
    • 71' "We are staying up," sing the Pompey faithful.
    • 70' N'Zogbia with a rare chance for Wigan!! Runs at the defender, plays a one-two with Kapo and shoots a yard or two over David James' bar!! Good effort and that's better from the visitors.
    • 68' Yebda now drills the ball in at the back stick. Melchiot away but it's back with Kanu..finds Dindane, but Melchiot clouts the ball away. Good work by the Wigan defender.
    • 67' Portsmouth are brimming with confidence as the ball is headed over by Yebda from O'Hara's cross. Wigan are down and out with just under 25 minutes remaining.
    • 65' GOAL PORTSMOUTH!! The ball looked like it was going out, but it's well kept in by Pompey. Kanu sends the ball into the box and Dindane is left with a simple tap-in!! 3-0 Portsmouth!!
    • 62' In comes from the free kick by O'Hara!! Well saved by Kirkland as Dindane tries to get a flick on it.
    • 61' Kanu goes down just outside the box. That looked a soft one as the Nigerian goes down under the challenge of Boyce.
    • 60' Applause rings out around the ground as Piquionne is carefully carried off on a stretcher.
    • 59' Piquionne is stretchered off and Wigan make two changes. Jordi Gomez is on for Paul Scharner and Olivier Kapo surprisingly replaces Hugo Rodallega.
    • 57' It's not looking good for Piquionne. Nwankwo Kanu comes on for the Portsmouth man, but there's some concern here for the Frenchman who has now been put in a head brace.
    • 57' Dindane again with the ball. Shot comes in and it's deflected for a corner.
    • 56' Scharner with the ball, he's robbed and the ball is sent long for Dindane, but that's offside.
    • 55' The game continues with Portsmouth down to ten men for the time being.
    • 54' There's a Portsmouth player down. It's Piquionne. He takes a swig of water but he's limping away at the moment.
    • 53' It's another throw to Wigan, but Portsmouth win it back through Wilson.
    • 53' Certainly, Sinclair and Rodallega need to show more than they've done so far as Scharner's pass goes into no-man's lead.
    • 52' Wigan take a quick throw. Sinclair comes deep looking for the ball.
    • 51' And the crowd today is 18,212. They're seeing a Portsmouth side take the game to Wigan so far.
    • 50' N'Zogbia's fit to carry on and the game resumes.
    • 49' It looks like Wigan' Rodallega has switched flanks for the second half as boss Martinez looks to get back in the match.
    • 49' Treatment here for N'Zogbia who fell heavily.
    • 48' The ball is cleared finally by Hassan Yebda and it's a throw to Wigan.
    • 48' Paul Scharner now looking for a one-two with Thomas, but that doesn't come off.
    • 47' Dindane with the cross, but that's claimed by Kirkland.
    • 47' Good tackle by Bramble as Portsmouth look to carry on where they left off.
    • 46' The teams are out for the second half. And we're underway again at Fratton Park.
    • 45'+3 And that's a real kick in the teeth for the Latics as the half time whistle blows. Portsmouth are on their way to netting their first home points of the season. It's all to do for Wigan in the second period.
    • 45'+3 GOAL PORTSMOUTH!! And would you believe it!! Dindane sends Piquionne away...he thunders down the Wigan left and slides the ball past Kirkland!! 2-0 Portsmouth!!
    • 45'+3 Seconds left and N'Zogbia shepherds the ball out for a Wigan goal kick.
    • 45'+2 It's thumped back in the mixer. This time Hendry Thomas clears the danger as Pompey press in the final seconds.
    • 45'+1 Corner to Portsmouth. It comes in, good hesd by Emmerson Boyce.
    • 45' There'll be three minutes of added time.
    • 44' Good work by Diarne. Finds Jason Scotland in close proximity to teammate Scott Sinclair..Scotland with the shot!! But that's skewed wide! The presence of Sinclair may have been enough to unsettle the former Swansea man!
    • 43' It's a throw to Portsmouth midway in the hosts' half. N'Zogbia stands strong and the ball rolls out for a Wigan goal kick.
    • 41' And that's the first change of the match. Finnan is not fit enough to continue and on comes Nadir Belhadj for Pompey.
    • 40' Bit of confusion on the pitch following a knock to Steve Finnan. A bit of a debate over possession from a drop ball isn't helped by Mr Wylie, but we're underway again.
    • 39' We haven't heard much from Wigan so far. They look like they're missing Maynor Figueroa.
    • 38' Rodallega now with an effort on goal, blocked by Boateng.
    • 37' Portsmouth have their tails up now. N'Zogbia has to clear the ball from the penalty spot.
    • 36' And that's probably no more than the hosts deserve. They've certainly shaded the match so far!
    • 35' GOAL PORTSMOUTH!! Scott Sinclair looks to be fouled but the ball finds its way through to Dindane and he dinks the ball over Kirkland as the stopper comes out!! 1-0 Portsmouth!!
    • 34' The throw's taken and the ball is all the way back with Kirkland.
    • 33' Titus Bramble to Kirkland. Thumped upfield and that's put out for a Wigan throw.
    • 33' Offside now against Dindane. Free kick for Wigan
    • 31' And that's thundered over the bar! It would have to be something special to beat David James at that range and that didn't fit the bill as the ball ends up in the stand.
    • 31' And now Wigan have a free kick. It's a long way out but Rodallega fancies his chances...
    • 30' And Pompey again on the attack. Fired in and gathered by Kirkland at the second attempt.
    • 29' Finds Boateng again. Tries his luck, but that's over the top again. No real test for Kirkland so far, but Roberto Martinez will be concerned that Portsmouth are finding space.
    • 28' And that's a throw to Portsmouth. Hendry hits the deck looking for a free kick but the ref ignores the appeal.
    • 26' The ball comes out to Kevin-Prince Boateng...finds Dindane! Blazed over by the Ivory Coast man and Piquionne will wonder why the ball wasn't laid off to him!
    • 25' Portsmouth have won another corner as they begin to turn the screw. Kirkland touches it away from danger and that's out for another corner.
    • 24' In it comes. Aruna Dindane lines up the shot...but that's way off-target.
    • 23' Charles N'Zogbia caught in possession. Robbed by Hassan Yebda and that's out for a corner.
    • 22' Portsmouth have had the majority of the possession so far.
    • 21' And the Colombian is fit to continue as Emerson Boyce cleverly blocks off Steve Finnan.
    • 20' Portsmouth down the left. That comes to nothing and the good news is that Rodallega is jogging back to the halfway line.
    • 20' The game continues. Still no sign of Rodallega coming back on as the game continues.
    • 19' And now Rodallega is down. He's taken a big fall after that attack on the edge of the pitch.
    • 18' Good attack by Wigan. Scotland plays Rodallega into the box. Can he pull it back? Not this time.
    • 17' And Kirkland is fit to continue.
    • 16' And Kirkland is down. It was a long ball over the top, Frederic Piquionne raced after it and caught the Wigan stopper as he stooped to head it away.
    • 15' Swept in...Diarne looking to get on the end of it, but he's done too much.
    • 14' Paul Scharner is brought down. That's a free kick for Wigan in a good position.
    • 13' Marc Wilson carries it forward...he goes for a shot but that sails into the Latic fans behind Chris Kirkland's goal.
    • 12' mario Melchiot now for Wigan. Nice ball into Scotland's feet, but that's a poor first touch and Pompey win it back.
    • 11' Pompey on the attack again. Brown looking for an option, but the ball is seen out by Wigan for a goal kick.
    • 10' O'Hara picks it up. Finds Ben Haim...in comes Hendry Thomas to break up the attack.
    • 8' The ball is with David James. That's a monster kick and has gone all the way through to Kirkland. Wasted by the England keeper.
    • 7' Chris Kirkland launches a goal kick. Some doubt whether the keeper would make it today after the stopper injured a finger.
    • 6' A little bit scrappy at the moment. Players are slipping and passes are going astray. Could be a bit wet on top.
    • 6' Tai Ben Haim with it for Pompey..but that's out for a Wigan throw.
    • 5' That's a foul. Jamie O'Hara late on Mohamed Diarne and ref Alan Wylie decides a brief word is enough.
    • 4' Wigan now have possession, Scharner looking for Scotland but that's cleared for a throw.
    • 2' And the home side have won a corner. It comes in from ex-Wigan man Michaal Brown, but that's away.
    • 1' And there's the first chance for Pompey. Blasted over the bar. Wigan have conceded early goals this campaign and will be happy to see out the first five minutes.
    • 1' Early throw for Pompey. O'Hara takes it.
    • 1' And we're underway at Fratton Park!
    • - Portsmouth will be desperate to avoid a record-breaking sixth consecutive home league defeat, but the Latics edged it last season with a 2-1 win.
    • - And the Wigan team: Kirkland, Melchiot, Boyce, Bramble, N'Zogbia, Sinclair, Schamer, Thomas, Diarne, Rodallega, Scotland. Subs: Pollitt, Cho, Amaya, Gomez, Kapo, de Ridder, McCarthy.

    • - Both teams will be pleased to hear the whistle for kick off after a turbulent week.
