- 38' Etherington breaks free on the left for Stoke... there's lots of Stoke shirts to aim at in the box, but his cross only finds a blue shirt and Pompey clear.
- 36' Beattie strikes the free-kick on target... but Ashdown watches it all the way and claims without fuss after it skids off the greasy turf just in front of him.
- 35' Fuller wins a free-kick off Brown... and that'll be yellow for the Pompey midfielder.
- 33' Delap wings a throw into the box.. Kaboul is there to head clear, but only as far as Etherington... he volleys back towards goal, but it's over the bar.
- 31' Shawcross deals with a through pass which Sorensen maybe should have... the crowd are none too happy with the way their team are playing at the moment.
- 29' It's all a bit scrappy at the moment... neither side are really taking the game by the scruff of the neck...
- 26' Delap launches a throw into the Pompey box this time... but it comes to nothing as Kanu eventually shields the ball out for a goal kick.
- 23' Fuller comes across Kaboul and catches him... another free-kick to Stoke, and still no yellow card.
- 22' Wilson rises with Beattie and the Stoke man is bundled to the floor... free-kick to the hosts...
- 21' Dindane again causing a few problems in the Stoke box... he claims a corner but the ref signals a goal kick instead.

Otherwise, Paul Hart makes three changes, with Hermann Hreidarsson, Hayden Mullins and Kanu coming into the side at the expense of Anthony Vanden Borre, Aaron Mokoena and Frederic Piquionne.
- - So, Andy Wilkinson returns to Stoke's starting XI with Abdoulaye Faye suspended and Salif Diao replaces the tired and no doubt emotional Glenn Whelan in midfield.

Oh dear! We've come out of a few games where a point should be the least to expect, but apart from Wigan, it's been dire. I think it's the Championship next season for sure. The only hope is that there are a few teams with significantly worse goal differences than us - but we still have Man U & Chelsea to come.
I cant believe pompey ,, cant even score a penalty, cant even score cant even win ,,looks like championship football next season so i start thinking that way now as from now ,, very sad ,, humiliating is all it is ,,pompey fan always . championship here we come
