Chelsea staged a second-half fight-back to win 3-1 at Sunderland and make it two Premier League wins out of two this season. More
90+3 Final whistle, a comfortable win for Chelsea in the end after a rather uncomfortable first half.
86' CHELSEA SUB: Shevchenko is on for Deco. Everyone thinks Sheva will leave but people forget how close he is to Carlo Ancelotti.
85' SUNDERLAND SUB: Reid on for Richardson.
84' CHELSEA SUB: Drogba comes off for former Manchester City youngster Daniel Sturridge.
76' CHELSEA SUB: Kalou comes off for Malouda.
75' Very tight offside with Drogba slid clear of the Sunderland defence, indeed that looked on to me.
69' Chelsea come forward, Essien to Drogba, quick ball to Deco, he drifts past one man as Drogba moves into the box and it opens up for Deco who spanks a vicious, dipping drive THAT SWERVES WICKEDLY AND CLATTERS IN OFF THE POST! CHELSEA MAKE IT 3-1! What a goal! Lovely football from Chelsea and Deco goes some way to disproving the doubters, he is back and in some style!
67' Cana trips Deco five yards from the area on the Chelsea right, the new Sunderland skipper enters the book now.
66' Chelsea on the break, superb ball down the left for Cole who is surely offside but the flag stays down and he crosses for DROGBA WHO MUST SCORE BUT HIS HEADER INTO THE GROUND SOMEHOW BOUNCES OVER!
62' SUNDERLAND SUB: Cattermole comes off for Leadbitter.
61' SUNDERLAND SUB: Campbell on for Jones.
59' Lampard steps up, he rarely misses these and BANG, bottom left, no chance Fulop even though he went the right way. Lampard with his trademark celebration to the heavens.
58' Drogba on the right, he cuts inside and powers past Cana, great run and McCartney comes across him and sticks out a leg to bring him down for a penalty! Chelsea have the chance to lead!
56' Deco plays a diagonal ball into the left channel where Cole gets in behind the full-back Bardsley and he clips over a superb chest-height ball and Drogba stoops to meet it but just in front of him and away!! Great wide-play from Cole!
54' A long ball is chased by Jones and Ivanovic pulls him down on the edge of the box and he could be in trouble! Only a yellow card but, really, that could have been red! Terry adjudged to have been back in time for him not to have been last man.
52' Lampard with the corner on the left, brilliant flat near-post delivery which Ivanovic flicks on and it drops to Ballack who drills it in low and past Cattermole on the post and into the bottom right! Chelsea level!
51' Lampard does well to wriggle out of a cul-de-sac and swing over an excellent far-post ball and Cole is in but Barsdley makes an excellent intervention to stick out a leg and divert it wide for a corner!
50' This second corner comes in, swung far post from the right and DROGBA FLIES IN WITH THE HEADER BUT JUST OVER!
46' Second half underway!
45+1 Half-time, Sunderland lead Chelsea 1-0 thanks to Darren Bent's second goal in two games!
39' Bardsley with another block after Ballack almost smashes it home, now Bosingwa on the right beats one man, and another and he hammers in a drive but parried by Fulop! One-way traffic here now...
30' Cattermole is retrospectively booked for that late one on Ballack, which the Chelsea man totally hammed up, he was and is fine.
19' Sunderland play the ball to the edge of the box, Richardson with an attempted flick, Jones tries to hold it up on the edge of the box but makes a hash of his first touch and it rebounds off Terry INTO THE PATH OF BENT WHO IS IN AND ONSIDE AND HE RIFLES IT UNDER CECH FOR 1-0! BENT SCORES AGAIN!! A classic poacher's finish after a lucky break, Sunderland lead!!

BLUE BLOOD ALL THE WAY THIS SEASON.

hameed_977, exactly where did you buy your magical high horse that lets you ( a chelski fan ) preach about fair play on the pitch, what with your beloved blues being SOOOOO all about the fair play? What was that about Boll... sorry Ballacks tackling technique in the community/charity/whatever they're calling it?

go go chelsea!!!!!!! ur unstoppable.the epl titl is ours!!!

oh and btw, chelsea, unlike liverscum and manu dont rely on 1 or 2 players sadly so it doesnt really matter much if lampard or drogba gets injured so suck it

comment 374 sunderland people are NOT geordies get your spelling right we are MAKEMS stupid boy !!

bohooagain

@jesus1hairdo lets rather hope ur mother gets tackeled by ur dad, or your ugly scolesy or giggs might need one of these "ninja tackels" as you called them to finish their career.

Nice win Chelsea. Stadium of @#$% will no doubt witness many more drubbings this season. Haway the lads.

all you chelsea haters please just kill yourselves. we are winning the title this season and there is nothing you can say or do about it....just deal with it. no 367 and 389 say what you want, i know u love the blues..........hahahahahaha.mwah

CHELSEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Well done Chelsea boys don't listen to this bunch of Jealousy people.
Chelsea for Ever..............................

sunderland played really ugly after they scored the opener, you could see cattermole and some other scum keeps glidtackling and pushing randomly, you really thought you had a chance? UP THE BLUES!!!!!
PS. never usually hope bad luck for teams but my wish is that sunderland get relegated this season after seeing the way they played today.

Chelsea won,fully deserved
sunderland player good I mean they defended good I wish them to succeed against man utd, liverpool and arsenal to draw or win if they can
deco is in excellent form i was looking the match live, lampard sent awesome balls and scored a goal, DD at his best
Chelsea to win the title
oh yeah and bosingwa and cole were awesome tonight

having now watched both chelsea games this season and as a man u fan it pains me to say that they are looking pretty awesome, powerful all over the pitch, dominating midfield and great full back play (even cole, the spiv). Very worrying for the rest, they will only get better. just have to hope lampard and drogba get injured again, maybe one of scolesy's ginger ninja tackles might do it. seriously though, united liverpool and arsenal, we will be battling it out for second on this showing.

sAAAAAAAAAY soMETHINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!
NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!11111
