    • 90+3 Free-kick to the Hammers, Green launches it and Cole heads it on but he is penalised for a foul on Carragher. Cole talks himself into the book but, to be honest, that was not a foul. Carragher was pushing and pulling him if anything.
    • 90=1 LIVERPOOL SUB: Riera on for Torres to waste the final seconds.
    • 90' Three minutes added time being played.
    • 88' Torres with a foul on Tomkins as the match winds down.
    • 87' Lovely sweeping crossfield pass by Parker but a poor touch from Hines. They still have it though, Faubert on the right, he loses it and fouls Insua and Mascherano flies in but the initial foul by Faubert is penalised.

    • 44' Skrtel chops down Hines and will be booked for that. Very late actually, although Hines is rather quick.

    • 35' West Ham keep the ball after that and knock it around at the back as they build patiently and in a very Italian fashion. They give away a free-kick though, Cole backing into Skrtel.

    • 21' Upton Park is stunned by that goal, quite remarkable skill and opportunism from Torres. Gerrard and Insua combine but the latter's cross is poor.

Cleared though but Hines cannot thread his pass through to Diamanti. Liverpool break, Benayoun in the middle again, wide to Torres who cuts in, Tomkins is ahead of him so he shimmies one way, then the next, he pokes it past him AND SNAPS AN IMPOSSIBLE FINISH FROM THE TIGHEST OF ANGLE FIZZING PAST GREEN FOR 1-0! What a goal from Torres!
    • 19' Gerrard comes forward now but his ball to Lucas comes to nothing as the Brazilian cannot shoot and West Ham clear - for now.
    • 18' The crowd sound their appreciation for some neat skill by Diamanti but Cole cannot make anything of the pass and Liverpool clear.
    • 17' Good work on the right by Johnson but Ilunga intercepts his cut-back but he gives it away to Johnson again who feeds Gerrard, cool touch in for TORRES WITH A TURN AND VOLLEY but wide!
    • 16' West Ham come again, Cole now on the right, he cuts inside and it opens up but his shot his blocked, Diamanti now has it and has a crack but he drags it well wide. Good stuff from the Hammers.
    • 15' Superb hold-up and knock wide by Diamanti and Faubert is on the overlap, he swings in a brilliant cross and it comes off the head of Johnson but Reina gets down to save! Almost an own goal but he NEEDED to make that as Hines was ready to pounce.
    • 15' A Hollywood ball from Gerrard frees Torres but the linesman flags as he pulled Ilunga's shirt.
    • 14' Tomkins puts it towards Cole centrally but a horrible first touch sends it so far wide he cannot even reach it.

    • 12' Carragher pumps it into the box, Tomkins with a poor defensive header but Gerrard's attempt to put it back in goes straight to Green.
