Wolves pulled seven points clear of the Premier League drop zone after a 3-1 win at West Ham. More
90+4 Final whistle, an easy enough win for Wolves. They are seven points clear of the drop zone now. Looks like Mick McCarthy may have spent the best 20grand in his life, copping that fine for resting his team against Manchester United.
90+2 Consolation goal for Franco. Berra stepped up but Halford stayed back to play the Mexican onside, and he tapped it past Hahnemann to make it 3-1. He's done well enough since he came on. Cole, meanwhile, has not.
86' WOLVES SUB: Mancienne, already booked, off for Guedioura.
85' Smart low stop by Hahnemann after Diamanti smashed a low drive in.
80' WOLVES SUB: Halford on for Zubar, a straight swap at right back.
77' Great save Hahnemann to palm Franco's shot behind after the Mexican danced through the Wolves defence. More like it from Guille.
72' WEST HAM SUB: Guillermo Franco on for McCarthy.
71' WOLVES SUB: Stephen Ward on for goalscorer Jarvis.
68' Parker, West Ham's only player, is harshly called offside when racing through to clip a lovely lobbed finish over Hahnemann.
60' THREE NIL! JARVIS! West Ham committed men forward and Elokobi found Jones who threaded a majestic through-ball that Jarvis raced on to, wicked first touch to leave Upson and Spector floundering and an even better second to smash it into the bottom left. Oh dear oh dear.
58' Wolves still have it though as Jones wins it out the edge of the D, he moves right and spots Zubar so threads it in for him AND WOW! WHAT A STRIKE! 2-0 WOLVES! He just rifled that first time, unstoppable across Green into the bottom left.
50' McCarthy needs treatment after colliding with Mancienne.
48' Tackle from behind on Behrami by Zubar.
46' Second half underway, with Kovac penalised for what seemed a clean tackle on Jarvis.
- WEST HAM DOUBLE SUB: Tomkins, after his bad error, is taken off. Oh dear. Spector on in his place, while Stanislas comes on to play up front with Kovac off.
45+1 Half-time, and Wolves lead 1-0!
45' Cole tries to hold it up but falls, Parker is in and he surges forward, Parker is in and he curls it past Hahnemann but off the post and across the line! Parker's continued his run anticipating the rebound and on the left he picks up the loose ball and from a tight angle drills it in but somehow Hahnemann is back on his line to bat it out!
43' Jones on the ball, as he has so often been tonight but his ball catches Doyle offside this time.
36' Good spell of pressure from Wolves as they pass it around the edge of the Hammers box. Some nice play as Doyle flicks it to Jones, they're playing keep-ball here as Jones fires one in, deflected and just wide via the hand of Green. Super play.
35' Kovac is lucky to get away with a silly tackle in his own box, on Jones. Clear foul, surely a penalty, he clattered into his calf. Odd as the ref was right on it.
29' Late from Mancienne on Diamanti, a booking and free-kick around 35 yards out.
28' Tomkins with a howler, he lets the ball run past him when he should clear and fluffs his backpass and Doyle is in, Doyle is through and he rifles it in at the far post! 1-0! Shocker from Tomkins!
8' FOLEY OFF THE BAR! What an effort from the tightest of angles! He got in behind Daprela to meet a great flick-on by Doyle, who beat Upson all-too easily for Hahnemann's straight long ball.
