    • 90' And that's full time. A 0-0 draw here tonight.
    • 90+3' Moses tries to take on Steinsson down the left but cannot beat his man and it's out for a goal kick.
    • 90' Another corner for Bolton. They play it short to Wilshere who plays ot back to Weiss whose cross wins Bolton another corner. This time Weiss crosses first time but it's cleared well by Wigan
    • 89' Bolton win a corner but it's cleared by Wigan. Three minutes of added time
    • 88' Terrific pace from N'Zogbia who cuts inside from the right wing and is inside the box in the blink of an eye.. but he lays the ball off to Moses who can only find the side netting from a narrow angle. N'Zogbia really should have had an effortt himself there.
    • 87' Owen Coyle is yelling instructions from the dugout, but to sum this match up one of his coaches is yawning behind him
    • 86' Bolton substitution: Wilshere replaces Taylor
    • 85' Nice play from Weiss who feints past Figueroa and then delivers a ball into the box which takes a deflection off a Wigan head and Kirkland saves comfortably
    • 84' Moses has looked lively since he's been on and wins a free-kick for his side after being brought down while taking on two players
    • 83' Bolton substitution: Gardner is replaced by Cohen
    • 82' A long throw into the box troubles the Wigan defence and the ball breaks to Taylor who has a chance! But he pulls his effort across the face of the goal and it goes harmlessly wide.
    • 80' Just before that yellow card Rodallega nearly fired Wigan ahead with an attempted overhead kick which flew over.
    • 80' Wigan break and N'Zogbia takes the ball over the half-way line, drops a shoulder and beats Muamba who sticks out a leg and trips the Wigan winger. Yellow card for Muamba, first of the match.
    • 79 Wigan substitution: Marcelo Moreno who has played fairly well is replaced by Victor Moses
    • 78' Decent play from McCarthy who gets to the byline and beats a couple of players but cannot get a ball across the goal and Bolton clear
    • 76' Shocking throw from Figueroa! Davies intercepts and nods the ball over Caldwell for Taylor who gets into the box and shoots! But his shot is into the side-netting only. Goal kick.
    • 72' A point each would still see both sides moving up in the league, with Bolton moving to third from bottom as they have better goal difference than Burnley and Wigan moving above West Ham and Wolves into 14th
    • 70' Long direct ball to Davies who flicks the ball on and Taylor strikes it from outside the area! Just wide of the left-hand post! Kirkland was beaten there.
    • 68' Bolton substitution: Lee who looked good is replaced by Vladimir Weiss who is on loan from Manchester City
    • 67' Bolton clear but Scharner is still down in the box as the ball is cleared.
    • 67' Moreno does well and wins a free kick which N'Zogbia will take from just in front of the centre circle
    • 66' Gardner touches a ball down to Muamba who hits it early and it goes across the face of goal and wide.
    • 65' Caldwell backs into Davies as he tries to genuinely win a header, but Wigan get the free-kick to ironic jeers from the Wigan fans who clearly still remember Davies' 'fall' at the end of the first half.
    • 62' Wigan have pretty much abandoned midfield and have gone 4-2-4. A good plan as it's pretty much impossible to pass the ball through the centre of the pitch. Bolton just cannot get on the ball and are penned back in their own half
    • 60' Rodallega meets a good ball from Melchiot but his header goes wide
    • 59' Sustained pressure from Wigan. Better quality of crosses and much better link up play. Bolton are actually having to defend well here.
    • 58' Better from Wigan. Scotland receives the ball in the centre, plays a ball to Moreno who finds N'Zogbia down the right, but he fails to cross when given time
    • 56' Bolton appeal for handball in the Wigan box but it's waved away by Howard Webb, correctly as replays show.
    • 54' Neither side can keep the ball for longer than 20 seconds at the moment before either misplacing a pass or running into trouble.
    • 52' Scotland does well, battling well to win a chest down from Moreno but his attempted pass is poor and the sparse crowd let their displeasure be known
    • 52' Scharner's first defensive action is a poor header which loops across the goal and into the box. Melchiot eventually heads the ball into Kirklands arms.
    • 51' Again decent chest control from Moreno, but Bolton clear the ball. He's showing good willing Moreno but so far the service just isn't good enough
    • 49' Bramble cannot continue and Jason Scotland replaces him. Scharner does indeed go back to the centre of defence.
    • 48' Bramble looks to be struggling with an injury, and Wigan are warming up Jason Scotland. Presumably Scharner will be pushed back into defensive duties should Bramble be unable to play on
    • 46' Taylor's delivery is cleared by Wigan.
    • 46' Elmander does well down the right and drives a ball across the penalty area and Caldwell nearly heads it in or an own goal, but it's side-netting instead. Corner
    • 45' And we're off for the second half. N'Zogbia and Taylor look to be discussing the pitch. "It's rubbish" says one. Well, that's probably what they're saying.
    • - The only chance of note to come from that first half was N'Zogbia's effort which hit the post and went across the face of the goal. Both 'keepers haven't had to do too much else other than try not to fall over in the mud.
    • 45' And that's half time. 0-0 and a pretty drab affair
    • 45' Just one minute added. Davies chases a Jaaskelainen goal kick to no avail but throws himself down when Caldwell touches him. Not sure what he was doing there.
    • 44' Muamba misses the ball completely as it bobbles over his foot. Moreno steps in to rob possesion but shoots from 25-yards when he probably has more time. The ball goes two or three yards wide
    • 43' Davies wins a free kick on the half way line after going down easily under a challenge from Caldwell. The free kick in finds Davies in the air and he wins a corner. Better delivery from Taylor but no Bolton player bothers to attack the delivery and Wigan clear
    • 40' Good interception from Bramble who looks up and pings a cross field ball to Rodallega who is away down the left. He passes inside and N'Zogbia and McCarthy manage to get in each others way. Twice. Wigan somehow contrive to keep possesion and play Rodallega in behind the defence but he fails to get a shot away when he really should have.
    • 37' Both teams are struggling to string five or six passes together let along fashion any meaningful attacks. If a goal comes, it looks like it'll come from a mistake or some individual brilliance
    • 35' Davies battles into the penalty area, but is tackled, however the ball only gets as far as Elmander who prods a ball back into the box for Lee to run onto... his cross is headed off for a corner which comes to nothing.
    • 31' Melchiot plays Scharner in down the right but his prodded pass is poor and Bolton should clear, but Knight panics and boots the ball off for a throw.
    • 30' Good ball into Moreno in the area who controls beautifully on his chest and looks to shoot first time but it's cleared by Knight.
    • 27' Elmander plays a poor ball to Lee when other options were better placed to his left, but Lee does exceptionally well in keeping the ball in, but fails to cross when he should have. Elmander looks short of confidence, he's scored just twice all season
    • 25' Moreno's movement is good. He always wants the ball and his touch is good when the ball finds him, which is not all that often really. He's on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk and Wigan have the option of making him their record signing in a £6 million deal should they want to
    • 24' Caldwell tries to see the ball out but toe pokes it off the pitch for a corner. Rubbish delivery from Lee though, as he fails to beat the first defender
    • 21' Elmander goes up the other end and a snapshot from distance goes two yards wide with Kirkland scrambling across the goal to try and get there
    • 20' N'Zogbia pops up on the left, cuts inside two Bolton midfielders then hits a shot which has Jaaskelainen beaten... but it cannons back off the post and right across the face of the goal! Great effort!
    • 19' Now a ball over the top for Bolton and Kirkland collects under pressure from Davies and Elmander
    • 18' A long ball over the top finds Rodallega who squeezes between Steinsson and Knight who calamitously get in each others way, but Rodallega fails to get a shot off and Jaaskelainen collects.
    • 16' This match finished 0-0 last season. Personally I hope that's not the case this season. This has not been pretty so far. Both teams really need the points so hopefully they'll go for it at some point
    • 15' Robinson runs into Scharner who goes down clutching his head. Not a free kick but the ref blows up to check that Scharner is okay. They're both big lads and that was a real meaty collision
    • 12' The delivery isn't great but it beats three Wigan defenders mainly because the ball just doesn't bounce. It's eventually cleared but the pitch really does look dreadful.
    • 11' Steinsson controls a long ball and is brought down by Figueroa. There was no need to make that challenge and Taylor has the chance to deliver a free kick.
    • 10' Caldwell takes a free-kick won by Moreno on the half way line. He looks for Rodallega with a ball over the top but Jaaskelainen collects comfortably
    • 9' Moreno is making good runs off the ball but so far all the balls aimed at him have been overhit.
    • 7' Diame looks to be okay and is back on
    • 5' Davies plays Lee in down the right then runs into the box to receive the cross as well. A corner comes from it, but it's a poor delivery from Taylor
    • 4' Stoppage here as Diame is down injured and receiving treatment. His first touch took the ball away from him and Gardner stamped on his foot while challenging for the ball. Fair challenge, but Diame is limping off for some magic sponge treatment
    • 3' The pitch isn't pretty and the ball looks to be bobbling about a bit. Bramble can't quite control it, surprisingly, and Lee gets a challenge in. Taylor tries a shot from distance... but it's a tame effort. Goal kick.
    • 2' Good ball drilled in from the left by Matt Taylor looking to find Elmander but it's an important Wigan interception from Bramble and the ball is cleared by Melchiot
    • 1' Corner is punched clear by Jaaskelainen
    • 1' Wigan who kicked off keep the ball nicely before Moreno makes a run behind Steinsson and wins a corner.
    • 1' We're off and there are not many people in the DW stadium tonight, but the few that are here are waving flags around, probably in an attempt to keep warm.
    • - Bolton themselves have won just once in their last eight Premier League matches and have gone three league matches without scoring. In fact, they've won just five league matches all season.
    • - Wigan have won just once in their last 10 matches, a 2-0 win at Wolves back on January 16
    • - Bolton are unchanged from the side which looked impressive in the first half against Spurs in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Spurs in the FA Cup. Loanee's Jack Wilshere and Vladimir Weiss are both on the bench.
    • - Wigan have given a start to new signing Marcelo Moreno who replaces Jason Scotland who drops to the bench. Their other new signing, Victor Moses, is again on the bench for the Latics.
    • - These two sides are just eight miles apart but, more importantly, are separated by just three places and two points. Bolton are second from bottom and a win for Owen Coyle's side would take them out of the relegation zone, but a win for Wigan would take Roberto Martinez's side four points clear of the bottom three.
