Two goals in four minutes failed to separate Wolves and Aston Villa as the Midlands rivals played out a 1-1 draw at Molineux. More
90'+4 There goes the final whistle! And it ends 1-1!
86' Wolves make two more changes... off goes Kightly and Ebanks-Blake as Halford and Iwelumo.
83' GOAL! EBANKS-BLAKE EQUALISES FROM THE SPOT! He rifles it down the middle and into the roof of the net!
82' PENALTY TO WOVLES! Sidwell hauls down Kightly after a lovely back heel from Milijas and the hosts have a golden opportunity to level!
79' GOAL! THE DEADLOCK IS BROKEN BY AGBONLAHOR! It's a great turn and finish from the England striker, having been fed in the box by Heskey! Craddock is left for dead and Agbonlahor fires home to put Villa into the lead!
76' Milijas replaces Edwards as Wolves look for some inspiration in the final quarter hour...
75' Sidwell! No! He strikes it goalwards but Dunne gets in the way! That was a certain goal with Hennessey in no man's land having flapped at a cross!
71' Villa make a change... goal-shy Heskey on for Carew.
64' Oooh! This is more like it from Villa! Agbonlahor feeds Young, who strikes a crisp effort just wide of the post!
61' Another card now, this time for Zubar for a late challenge.
60' Warnock is booked... that's for a bit to much abuse directed at the linesman as he 'disputed' a corner.
54' Here's the first yellow card of the day... it's shown to Carew for a sliding challenge on Elokobi.
46' Back underway at Molineux! And the pitch is bathed in bright sunshine!
45'+3 There goes the half-time whistle! And the teams head in at the break locked at 0-0.
43' Ebanks-Blake has a free header at the back stick! But he doesn't really get much on it and his effort bounces wide of the mark! Poor defending from the visitors...
38' There is danger! Berra rises to direct a header down across the face of goal... Ebanks-Blake attempts a spectacular overhead kick, but it won't sit down for him and his effort goes over the bar!
35' OFF THE LINE! Milner hacks clear from Doyle's effort! It isn't the best header... in fact, it looks like it hits his shoulder, rather than his forehead, and in the end it's an easy clearance to make.
30' Hennessey flaps a little on the corner! But it's too high for everyone... the Wolves keeper sustains a cut to his eye though and will need a little patching up before he can continue.
13' Henry now delivers a decent ball into the Villa box... Berra's there to meet it! But his header goes wide of the far post! Chance none the less...
3' Chance at the other end as Doyle muscles through! Big penlaty shout as Dunne grapples with the Wolves striker! Credit to him, he tries to stay on his feet but he wants a penalty in the end! Referee Peter Walton waves play on!
1' Agbonlahor breaks through early on! Friedel pumps a long ball forward... no one deals with it and if goes all the way through for the Villa striker! But his effort on target is tame and Hennessey is able to make hte save!

Aston Villa to finish seventh this season, but above everton.
Chelsea
arsenal
manu
Man city
liverpool
spurs
villa
Cmon arsenal, prove me wrong, we still look like we can win the league if chelsea stuff up big matches.

brett L: i actually agree with you on that one. young isnt the player he used to be thats a fact. he keeps overdoing it with the ball and doesnt really create any opportunities. stuart downing will be a tough nut to crack when he returns.

octaneoverboost, now u'll understand why SAF made comment about referees!

This will be a bit controversial on here, but here goes. Why is Ashley Young still being picked in the first team for Villa? He is not providing good balls for Gabby or Carew, or anyone else. He's lost his touch and is not what he was last year.
Maybe a dropping might remind him of what he's in the team for.

was nt the walk over villa thought it was going to be !
top 4 your having a laugh!!
well done wolves keep going!

A PENALTY IS GIVEN WHEN A PLAYER HAD A CLEAR CHANCE OF SCORING IN FRONT OF THE GOAL. KIGHTLY AND THE BALL WAS FACING AWAY FROM THE GOAL AND SIDWELL DID GET TO THE BALL FIRST, I'VE WATCH REPLAY 5 TIMES, PETER WALTON, YOU'RE WRONG!!!

one mistake and your asking for player to be dropped. all players make mistakes

I can't wait for Downing to come back so we can drop Sitwell

I don’t agree with the criticism of Sidwell’s tackle. If you look very closely he was very, very unlucky because he actually got a touch on the ball before the penalty. Also if you are all to quick for asking of his head, then you should also ask for Gabby’s head too. As in my opinion, he missed a sitter in the first attack of the game.

plip

only way wolves could beat us was a penalty...thanks sidwell that was really foolish.

akar12345678912345 (158) All about Chelski? Ummmm,.... didn't Chelski LOSE to Villa last week, or am I going senile?

Good gammee
Both teams played well great for a draw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

vaginas are brilliant

STOP POSTING ADVERTS ON THESE MESSAGE BOARDS!

Yeah, and Villa beat Chelsea last week so what are you going on about??

really disappointing result for villa. if they are to challenge for top 6 they need to learn how to beat teams like wolves, no point beating chelsea one week only to throw it away the next. As a villa fan i fear they will not finish in top 6 because they will drop to many points against bottom half of the table teams.
